I love the content of your videos, Mark, but love even more when we have commentary from you. Just my 2p's worth :)
Noted - work was getting in the way hence it was easier to add music than voice. Anyway, lots of footage from Floridas winter star party to follow. With voice of course - although my wife thinks it’s strange that someone would actually want to listen to me droning on!
Thanks Mark. Personally I believe SharpCap is the new standard
It's amazing, Craig. But don't tell Robin Glover as he'll put the price up!!
A very inspiring video, as always.
Thanks again!
Well done! Dust clouds in 110 with EAA!
Thank you! I was pretty surprised - and get a thrill from resolving stars in NGC 206. Individual stars in another galaxy! How amazing is that?
Nice work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Excelente toma de andromeda
Gracias Misael - me parece que es una escena fenomenal (lo espero que sea corecta!)
Excellent stuff showing it from “all angles” and the detail with the SCT. I’ve taken a shot with a 70ED refractor but will have to try with my 8 inch Meade SCT, perhaps with the 0.63x reducer. Cheers. 👍
Top tes vidéos…!
Merci
Bravo mark…c’est cool 👍….!!
Thanks Christophe.
What is the shiny mat covering thing on your OTA and for what reason? I was wondering if that helps with some type of dew or something more special??? And where to buy? Thanks!
It’s a reflective metal foil for radiators and household insulation - called reflectix in UK. It stops the tube from over cooling (below ambient) on a clear night as it limits radiation to deep space. This alleviates tube currents and helps reduce dewing.
Incredible detail with just a 10 second exposure. I'd need an hour to get an image that clear. What bortle skies are you in?
Thank you for your kind words. I think it is about a 4 - village skies near a town so defo light polluted skies albeit milky way visible overhead. Defo don't miss living in the city with the orange glow everywhere!!
