I have done MBA finance from India. Don't have any work experience, I'm looking to make my career as a Financial advisor. Can you please guide me on what to do?
Hi Hetal, that's great! do you have any banking experience in India? It will be a bit easier for you to get into banking because of educational background but also keep in mind that there's a lot of competition. So you will have to make yourself stand out with some Canadian education/work experience/certification courses
I have done banking job in india in 2017-18 ( for one year) after that i am into my own business till now. Please give your best advice for resume and job hunting in banking sector in canada
Hi Ishan, the key to a good resume is to always make it short and focus more on it's quality by including key words and skills you possess. There are a whole variety of jobs(on which i will make a video soon) in retail, commercial, compliance, recovery, IT, risk, etc. departments so look for the roles on google and connect with people on linkedIn to get to know about their work life in their specific role.
I need help getting my resume noticeable. I have B com n MBA finance and Banking degree. Working as cashier associate for Dollar tree. Please I need help
I don't have education background related to finance or bank so what certification i should do to get a job as a teller and customer service representative.
Hi. Thank you for such an informative video. Just a question, Customer Service Representative role comes under NOC C, and the experience gained under NOC C doesnt add in Canadian Experience Class while applying for PR. So how will this role help in getting the PR?
Hi Saksham, I did the business admin diploma in Alberta and completed 6 months in this job to be eligible for AAIP AOS. The job was in same field as my studies and the job duties matched the ones suggested on Alberta Opportunity Stream Portal for teller/customer service rep. Hope this helps.
Hi I am.keen interested to apply jobs in bank but I don't know how I continue, I started applying randomly but every time it's rejected might be I am not right candidate but I want to do job in bank might be I don't have right resume my background is IT but I want to start job as entry level plz guide me
Hi Renu, there's a lot of competition out there. When I got the job, there were more than 80 applicants for that position. So, you will really have to make your resume stand out and if it still doesn't work you might have to go an extra mile to complete some certification courses relevant to your field and then try. I was rejected multiple times before I got it. All the best!

Hi Chiya, sorry for the late response and thank you for the comment. So there are several pathways under which you can apply for job in banks. There's retail, investments, IT, operations, management, etc. So visit the official websites and see what sector you are interested in and start preparing accordingly. If you want to discuss more, you can always dm at @armans1ngh on instagram
Hello, The SIN number is optional. You can skip that, and for address you can put any of your friend/family's address who lives in Canada. Address does not really matter as long as you are not ordering physical books.
Hey Shashi, there are a few factors to consider. Your job duties must align with the studies. Should be a full-time permanent position, etc. It's best to talk to an immigration consultant to check if you qualify, and also check with the hiring manager that you will need a written job offer and an experience letter with specific information after a couple of months of employment.
thanks for good information that leads to bank......let me plz rply for my doubt how dependent newcomers can join the short term courses? and from where we can find courses and details...plz reply
Hi Anish, visit the Canadian Securities Course(CSI) website. You can enrol and study for the courses on this website. While enrolling, the SIN number section is not mandatory to fill, so you can just skip that
Hi. i am a bank manager in PSU Bank in India Having 10+ yr experience. Currently based at India. What are the prospects for me to get job in bank in canada
very informative video. but I reside outside Canada so how can I apply for jobs outside Canada. as I have searched for many jobs on "job bank" but unfortunately most of them clearly mentioned that people outside Canada are not eligible for this job. what should I do and how can I apply for the jobs by sitting in my home country. I am in the media industry and currently working at a radio station. kindly guide me regarding this matter I would be really thankful to you.
Hello, yes you will have difficulty searching banking jobs, especially retail banking when you are outside Canada and do not have previous experience. I would say talk to recruiters online and ask for their advise on how to get started as they might be aware of some specific job roles and institutions that consider international candidates as well.

Hi Amrit, I'll share some key points and things to keep in mind while making a resume in one of upcoming videos, but to describe in short, it should be clear, short, precise, relevant to role that you are applying for and reflect that you meet the job requirements.
