If you have issues don’t project on others and jump into conclusions. To be honest even In the next life I would choose him over any other men period.

Just give your Wife the money and you will be shocked by the types of investments she is doing. The richest Gikuyu is a Woman and she is in Forbes as a Billionaire. Many of the large buildings in Nairobi and Mount Kenya Region are owned by Women. They are wealthy, yet very humble and secretive about their wealth. How many stories have we heard of Gikuyu men paying rent, only to find out that the house they are paying rent is owned by their Gikuyu Wife. Gikuyu women have small investment groups " Chamas" and these groups raise millions. The backbone of the Gikuyu economy is the women.

I'm a Kikuyu Man and i disagree with the statements of that lady. People generalize characteristics of men based on their personal experience which is totally wrong. Kikuyu men are taught about importance of investments from an early age, however how romantic a man is, is not dependent on the tribe especially generation stemming from Millennials onwards. Same thing how women say Kenyan men are not romantic. Please if your boyfriend or husband is not romantic, don't generalize because you are suffering alone.
About cooking; most educated kikuyu men understand they need to help when necessary. However, being seen cooking, esp by their mums, may discourage them. But then most middle-class Kikuyu families have house help. About crying; thats a generalisation gone too far. Kikuyu men are not robots or pychopaths. They too care when their woman crys, unless it becomes a "cry wolf scenario". About giving their women money for only feasible projects; I agree 100%. Of course this does not apply to little cash gifts but for substantial cash, a Kikuyu man may ask for project feasibility report, cash flow analysis, return on investment, profitability analysis, etc😂😂😂😂😂. But not all Kikuyus, but most will. Not surprising, some Kikuyu women love Igbo men who spoil them with cash. Kikuyu man here.
