June came from a great great family. Country and Southern Gospel music wouldn't be the same if there had not been Mother Maybelle Carter and the rest of the Carter's. They all had a hand in getting Johnny through some rough times. I live in Tennessee and everybody knew when June died Johnny wouldn't last long and he didn't. Such a great love story. He passed away only a few months after June. No one will keep them apart anymore.
When you said Damn.... Honey that's all that could be said about that situation. God Blessed Them
BTW...Thats just how Johnny played the guitar and he was good with it.
The two of them died just a couple of months apart. Once she died, he had no reason to hang on.
Please react to Johnny Cash and the Carters performing "Were You There" The one filmed in 1960 :)
June Carter wrote Ring of Fire
I need a woman like June to iron out my wrinkles God knows I have more than a few I need a June they are far and few in-between I hope there is a after life just knowing johnny and June are together puts a smile on my face
Check out the newer lives. So much more entertaining and sass. This was before they were married. They really played with the song later on.
Johnny’s first wife not June, but Maria, stated in her book, that she and Johnny wrote the song “ ring of fire” and it is about a certain part of the female anatomy. Of course June says her and another songwriter singer Merle Kilgore wrote it. Johnny later admitted he and Maria wrote the song as she stated in her book. Just FYI. Thanks for the job your doing great work and entertaining.
Johnny Cash never admitted this. Why are you lying?
Yeah it looks like he's really playing that way. You can get different sounds by strumming/picking the guitar strings in different places. He must have wanted a brighter, "pluckier" sound than he could get from that guitar by strumming in the middle. Plus he probably didn't want to crowd June too much with his elbow. 🤣
Of course it's entirely possible this performance wasn't fully live & they were lip synching but someone else might know more about that.
You should do hurt by Johnny cash
Oh My God..!! We Think Alike..!!! : ) lol
👍👍 Johnny Cash-"Folsom Prison Blues" live from prison.
Kenny Rogers-"Lucille." ✌
Johnny appears as if he might be on something here, but I'm not entirely sure.
I don't respect June. But I do admire his first wife --Vivian. June stole him from Vivian and told her she would. As one of the Carter Sisters I really appreciate Anita.
nobody stole her , he ran after her while he was married
@@martha0436 Blame lands on both parties, but June went face to face with Vivian and told her that Johnny would be hers.
@@timcarr6401 Did you see Walk the Line

@@timcarr6401 So we're supposed to believe everything the bitter ex-wife says? Johnny Cash said out of his own mouth in numerous interviews that he told June he was going to marry her the first time they met at the grand ole opry in 1956 while he was married and before he became an addict. He said, and I quote, "I just knew we were going to be married one day." Now how they got there was messed up, but he set the whole thing in motion baby.
