@@MrCooper83 A szovjet felfogás szerint nagyon fontos a külső benyomás és a tisztaság. Ezt megörökölte Oroszország annyival, hogy Moszkvában például nem találsz graffitit (legalábbis a belvárosban egy sincs), naponta tisztítják az utakat, a metrók páratlanul tiszták, és minden grandiózusnak hat.
Bár az is igaz, hogy ez a videó Budapest szépségeit emelte ki.
@@matenagy9244 Nem csak a soviet felfogas szerint, hanem a dicttatura is ilyen. A N. Korea jo pelda. Az emberek ott eheznek, de az utcakat tisztitjak reggelente.
Moszkvaban nem jartam meg, valamiert nem is szeretnek odamenni, de tudom, szinte minden varosban vannak olyan reszek amik iszonyatosan tisztak. Pl Makati Manilaban, Westmister, Chelsea Londonban, vagy Westwood, illetve Glendale LA-ben

@Bessie Hillum First of, no. Austria would wrestle it's way above others, dodge resposibility, take all the benefits, give out fake rights, and turn everyone against eachother in order to avoid losing power, like it always did.
Second, Romania is an agent of France wedged between the central - and eastern-european countries to monitor and distrupt the region. Including them in anything and sharing our plans with them is political suicide.
@Bessie Hillum Hungary and Poland always had an understanding. Both countries share a 1000 year long friendship and a polish-hungarian friendship day. We will never ever go separate ways and will always help each other like before.
These recordings should be before 1974. According to Wikipedia, the last tram on the Elisabeth bridge went at the end of 1973. See 1:47

Before 73 ... Metro line 1 (0.15) was renovated in 1972-73, it was still the old wagons, and this section was extended, this section was also underground at that time.
I thought that was the bridge connected to Margaret island, the one closer to the parliament building. Which still has metro.
@@zephyrna6249 The one going through the Island is the Margaret Bridge. The church in the video is the Nagyboldogasszony Church, which is next to the Elisabeth Bridge.
at 2:15 you can see a newsstand for a brief moment. After a little digging, I found the title page with the posing lady in the archive. This is the April 1972 issue of the Hungarian magazine for Film and Drama (Film Színház Muzsika), which was published on April 29, 1972. This means that the footage was taken couple days later, sometime in May 1972.

A felvételek alapján mintha tisztább lett volna a város és sehol egy grafiti, vagy hasonló borzalom.
A borzalmat nyugodtan lehet érteni a sok m*cskos külföldi turistára is akik miatt szinte élhetetlen lett ez a város. Mostanában amikor voltam Pesten szinte már több külföldi karattyolást lehet hallani mint magyart. De hát gondolom ez a söpredék hozza a pénzt...
@@vargabalint4765 Pontosan! Mi is nemrég voltunk a Halászbástyánál és rajtunk kívül magyar beszédet nem hallottam, pedig olyan tele volt az egész, hogy 2x nekem jöttek és majd fel löktek a 'tökéletes fotó' miatt. 🤦♀️

@@dimmykarras9287 Ezt már többen is írták, és valóban hasonlít, de azért attól még nem ő. Az esély is kicsi lenne rá, másrészt pár dolog nem stimmel, pl. a szemszín sem.

@@poonczey Az viszont nem volt rosszabb! Az első csövesek és drogosok a rendszerváltás után jelentek meg. Én a 80-as években voltam gyerek, ajtót, ablakot nyitva lehetett hagyni, nem volt lopkodás! A rendszerváltás óta tapasztaljuk ezt, a rokonságomban, a környékünkön az emberekkel beszélgetve tudjuk mi a helyzet.

A street (possibly the one shown at 2:55) was as close to capitalism as could be found anywhere in the Soviet bloc. People from other Communist countries went to Budapest to see it.
As a Magyar myself, I was interested to see this because my parents grew up during this time and my dad especially romanticizes it.
I honestly don't see the appeal. Everything looks so drab and depressing, and everyone looks just as poor and miserable. I'm so glad to be living in America now instead, for all of its faults, its much easier on the eyes than this soviet sewer.

If you know, under the leading of Janos Kadar, Socialist Hungary was called as "the happiest room in the Communist barrack" by the West.

@@mrmakhno3030 when I was a child in the early 70’ in the school in Belgium in geography classes we were calling Hungary the paradise of the East. Many years after, I live in Budapest since 1998
@@oldschoolbudapestworkout2105 there is a lot of freedom in Socialist Hungary, of course in comparison with other communist countries. Citizen could communicate with officials and complain about anything by phone. State media was not boring as Romania. There were 1 cars per 13 Hungarian, a good ratio in the world at that time.
I think this is pretty like the same thing in USSR in 1930. You could criticize any scientific theory or politician without any trouble. But if you were hated by NKVD leaders or you did something against the state, that would be your end. I'm so suprised when reading many research about Stalin era in USSR (from the side of anti-Stalin historian), I could see a society with much more freedom than after 1956. In some period like war time or the great terror, that's another story, but basically after the death of Yagoda and Yezhov, NKVD wasn't so terrible and strict like before, and like its successor.
honestly it was a lot better life with more freedom than especially the recent one now under orban regime suppression
Sajnos a mostani kormány inkább szeretné eltörölni mindezt :( Jobban mondva egy ennél korábbi időszakot szeretne visszahozni, ami egy elég sötért időszak volt az országban. :(
Ja, nagyon sötét, hogy a Kossuth tér nem egy parkolóplacc stb... vagy hogy a Várat a borzalmas 60-as, 70-es évekbeli pusztítás után (amikor ép épületeket is elbontottak a múltat végképp eltörölni szemlélet miatt - rohadt Habsburg-lépcső, a neve miatt vesszen stb.) visszaállítják a 100 évvel ezelőttihez hasonló kinézetre.

@@CsImre Csak akkor újítanak fel valamit, ha egy haver csinálja, vagy a vár esetében maguk költöznek be. Ha egy épülethez egy kudarcuk köthető vagy az épület számukra ellenséges közegben van, inkább hagyják lerohadni az egészet. Ha nem tudnak semmi újat, átneveznek. Ha valaki sikeresen működtet egy üzletet, és nem haveré, tönkreteszik. Aztán megszerzik szinte ingyen, és átpasszolják egy havernak.
Kár volt ezt a posztot is politikával bepiszkítani....
