i dont know how people resist the urge to play qunari, like that was the FIRST thing i did when i got the game lmao. i hadnt even played through much of origins when i got inquisition, but it was like "i can play as a sexy big strong woman with horns????" there was no contest
I know right!! After my test playthrough with an elf i immediately chose qunari and to this day its my favorite playthrough, i cant wait to see dreadwolfs adaption of qunari tho
I have been waiting for this for a while now! It's a long journey, but an enjoyable one. I can't wait to see the choices you make and how you feel about the companions, because there are some really great ones :)

Looooove the Dragon Age game series! Best story ever! Have played all so many times, and playing it again atm. as a Dwarf for the first time! So fun to play a character that is more "neutral" in the story's main story! Love your enthusiastic and excited love for this games!
The song the bard is singing “I Am The One” at 3:49:17 is the song played at the end of Origins after beating the game and the credits begin. But that version is sung in “Elven” or “Dalish”. The bard sings it in English of course but not the literal translation of the original, but similar. I will just sit and listen to the bard whenever she sings; why I took so long to finish it!😅😂
Im new here and so hype for Dragon Age come back. Inquisition is really good in story telling and music. Watch you play make me want to replay it again.
I usually play either Warriors or Mages in the Dragon Age games, but I actually had the most fun playing a Bow Build in Dragon Age II. Haven't had the chance to try the bow out in Inquisition yet, I hope you enjoy it, so far it looks like it'll be fun! :)
Oh my god! xD When you said, that Egghead reminded you of Merlin from the BBC show ... awesome! Because I am a big fan of the series and I love Solas because in German he has the same voice actor like Colin Morgan (Merlin) from Merlin. So in my mind, this IS Merlin, only in another universe. xD
Voice is Alix Wilton Reagan - who is Samatha Trainer in Mass Effect. You can do the Black Emporium if you aren't happy with your Inqy's appearance but there's a spoiler in the blurb for it so hold off for a bit.
It physically pained me when you didn't exhaust the dialogue wheels, but your voice is so soothing, and I really enjoyed your personality while watching this.
THE PAIN! I realise a bit later on that I can say every option and it's not a 'choice' each time. I think I was worried that each one led me down a different branching path.

Excited to see you playthrough, if you enjoy lore.... **This game** is a major bomb is you have been paying attention to the lore of DA. There is a brilliant writer on board, and his work especially shines through some major scenes he was responsible for. Keep a notepad around, and jot down anything even mildly curious. Chances are there is a why, even if not obvious at first. I'll probably go back to your other playlists as you upload this one, to see your playthrough of the other games. PS: Here's a non spoiler .... tip? Suggestion? I don't know what sort of player you are, since this is my first video of yours, but there is quite a bit of "show not tell" weaved into the scenarios/stories of this game. The graphical leap from previous titles has allowed the artists involved even more freedom to show and hint at certain things through details in the scenario and characters themselves, with the codex as a text to supplement more than a descriptor at times. More than that though, the art direction in this game is quite solid, and the first showcase of that are incredible tarot cards that display much of the culture of each race in a single image. There's a lot more... **Intent** in how it is all presented. I'm not sure if it interests you, but if you are the sort of person to pay attention to differences in architecture and art amongst different civilizations, and to try and guess for example, what is the purpose of a room from the objects inside of it, there's a lot of silent storytelling going on in some places. Just something to keep in mind.
Means a lot that there are people out there who like us more softly spoken folks! I was always worried that I couldn't be like the super outgoing content creators that seemed to be doing well in this industry when I started out. It's been great to find other nerds who are similar to me and like me for who I am! Massively into lore, I stop and read every single lore book out loud 👀I'll keep an eye out!
So fun bit of foreshadowing that I dint see many people talking about: A random bit of party banter between varric and cassandra has varric questioning why cassandra isn't the leader of the inquisiton despite bring the highest rank and then gets in to the inquisiton not having an actual leader (obviously this is pre skyhold) and casandra then questions if he is applying for the position which is basically exactly what happened to him in kirkwall and becoming viscount
i have tried to play this game on two occassions. my first attempt i lasted two hours before i got bored. my next attempt i played maybe two days, i did almost everthing you can do in the first...uh..area? i got up to like level 20 or something before i went to the next area. but by then i was burnt out. this game just doesnt keep my interest. so I hope watching you play it will enable me to experience the rest of the game without having to actually do it myself lol
My first run in inquisition was as a rogue (was a rogue in both DAO and DA2 fist run.. ) reached a SPECIFIC point and my save got corrupted xD Annoyed, i recreated THE exact same character but decided.. let's try mage, mage was fun in DA2 and felt fun in DAI And i gotta say. Mage was really a good choice :D (especially fem elf mage)

DAI has to be my lest favorite of the 3. You had side quests popping up every 50 feet, the crafting was weird but most of all the combat mechanics were poor. A combination of DAO and DA2 combat mechanics and more straight forward crafting would have made for a better game.

My main disappointment with this game is that with all the advances in graphics, they still couldn't animate the scar on your hand that drives your entire story. There's only a handful (pun absolutely intended!) of cutscenes where you can see your character's palm and there's no marks at all, just the occasional green flash. Apart from that, excellent game. My first playthrough I stuck with the original trio of companions as my main party for the whole game. I imagine you'll be keeping at least one of them. I need to start another game so I can do the two DLCs I didn't play the first time now.
Lol, oh yeah for sure, I'm the same way if there's only a few options, oddly if there's a lot I get it done quick, probably cause I'd be choosing between crap choices, happens at the store all the time.

Ok, but why are we clicking everything with the mouse, is that by choice? If so, then damn, I feel so sorry for the developers wanting the player to have a smooth experience and even bothering with programming the R key for that.
Egghead man is not baye (sorry just come from your DA2 1st part) - you've been misinformed by people with warped priorities. I find it so frustrating that as a fem elf you have so many options and yet not only do all the women players become Solasmancers but they recomend it to others. I don't - its a mistake, don't do it!

Cullen is my favorite in Inquisition..he was starved and tortured by mages he was understandably suffering from PTSD in DAO at the time.

1:50 Bioware did sell those as artprints back then. I have the female dwarf one up on the wall.
They also have a pack of cards with my much artwork on them.
