Indian food is like the loving warm embrace of your mother to your soul.
The pokoras are easily to make at home too, you can make it with any veg and mix with spices and onions in a battered chick pea flour,if you don't have chick pea flour you can use flour and little corn flour to make it crunchy and delicious 😋.
Thanks for the tips!
black chickpea flour not chickpea flour

Amazing! We hope to visit India next year :)
I'm a Vegan, love this.💚🌱
I love pakoras with tea , sister ❤️
And thankfully I eat all this every week 😇
That's great!
U r enjoying there and my mouth is watering here 😀😀😀😀😀😀. We enjoy fritters (pakodas) mostly in rainy season. With a cup of tea.... Raining + hot pakodas + ur family or friends = unforgettable experience for someone who is not used to it....
I loved the way how she used her hand to eat the rice ❤
Thank you :)
The pakoras are made with vegetables like cauliflower, potato, onion, and even with green chillies and eggplants. The best part is how they are covered in chickpea flour batter and then deep fried in oil. You are right about not being able to tell that it's cauliflower! The batter is usually mixed with a variety of condiments which make these veggies yummy.
No cauliflower
I love cauliflower pakora ❤️
Try south indian vegetarian tiffin items like idli vada, Pongal vada, rava upma Poori Masala, uthapam items like onion utgapam carrot uthapam tomato uthapam etc. In dosa items podi dosa garlic dosa etc. There are rava dasa rava onion dosa rava onion masala dosa etc
Glad you always try different cuisines from India. Love from India🇮🇳
Thank you :)
@@alfonsoandjessica please came to india and try Indian authentic 😊food🙏🏼
Indian food are ROYAL FOOD ...tqq for u r compliment my dear foody sister 😀 ❤️😘
The flower like spice is star anise.. It's very mild when used as a whole.. Unlike Black cardamom or clove.. It's mainly used for decorative part.
The term Masala refers to spicy so anything masala means spicy.
The spices in chana masala are Cumin, Fennel, Carom, peppercorns, coriander, black cardamom and cinnamon and mango powder. You can always buy premade chana masala from Indian grocery stores Preferably made by MDH company.
This woman has dedication. I like her a lot.
The Dal and Chawal is the daily meal in almost every home in India...
Lots of love for your son, how cute he is nd his reaction was awesome god bless you guys ❤️❤️
Thank you :)
Try Chaat, it's another Indian dish that is burst of flavour, sweet, sour, tangy, spicy, crunchy & vibrant in both taste and look..Plus it's full of healthy nutrients, protein & goodness as well. It's also a common snack/street food here & available in almost of cultural parties fest.
You can't tell me your an avid foodie or a food lover if you haven't tried indian dishes , more so if coming to India and getting the authentic vibes . Love your delicious content 😋😅. It feels so good when my home country and childhood foods get this much appreciation and love from others
we hope to visit India next year!

Mouth watering. Send me a plateful of the samosas and fritters...the sight of them left me salivating.😋
😋
Hi Jessica.... Very well described.....leaves in the daal are "curry patta" not coriander leaves , it's assencial part of South Indian cuisine , it smell is very nice .......next spice in rice is star anise ( phool chakri) seed of fennel ( saunf) it's smell is just like saunf. It's most used in pulao n biryani and non veg dishes .
ok great, Thanks for the info!
When you smash rice with curry and mix it... Taste is incredibly increase...Eating rice is also traditional as area changes in inadia way of eating Rice is also changes...Like maharashtra,..South India..Bengal...

Keep enjoying our Indian Food guys! Love your enthusiasm 🙏🏽🙌🏽👍🏽❤️
Thank you so much 😁
I am from India and I love watch to foreign guys exploring India and its food. It's my day and it will continuing ❤️❤️☺️.
Thank you! :)
Great. Enjoyed seeing you and your son liking it. These are the delicacies of Indian foods. Pakodas and samosas are the snacks items in India with different flavoured chutneys in different eateries. These two items mainly are street foods.
Every Indian dish has something special and surprising to it and I have to be cautious when mentioning "Indian Cuisine" . Because it's so vast and a never ending variety. India is a gigantic state and when travelling across every 100 miles you will feel a completely different life style, different food, culture and so on. So it has been rightly called as a world in itself.
Glad to see you enjoying those delightful delicious dishes. Keep exploring and keep enjoying 🥳
Yes, you are right.
Omg!! I really can't say how happy I am to see the way you enjoy food🤩😍 .. I was just hoping u would post another veg Indian food video ☺ Thank you so much ❤ Advanced Birthday Wishes Alfonso dear..God bless you 😘

You are better than many of us regarding "authentic indian vegan foods(- they are really marvellous)", thank you so much, keep your great job, going
lovely
Fun fact : Our hands have some microbes which help digestion & that why u eat with hands. Another thing, u should eat with Right hand because other hand is considered dirty. Don't forget washing your hands only for 20 seconds, if u wash less, your hands will b dirty & if you wash more, u will the friendly microbes.
Wow! Drooled throughout. 🤤 Even with full tummy😁.
Jessica you are a awesome reviewer, very authentic in your expressions and its cool to see you relish and savour every bite. My best wishes for your channel. SUBSCRIBED 😊

Urad dal tadka(Black gram tadka) with Tandoori roti is still my favorite. It's simple and best.
@13:19
That's star anise spice..
One of the spice used in Indian dishes..
There is also a fungus known as stone flower that is also used in Indian dishes👍

thank you! it was!
I enjoyed watching u r review 👍👍
Wow
I really really thanks from the deep of my ♥ the way u appreciate our food it's a great pleasure to us b'cause of u. Thanks
Thank you so much.
By the way.....you can try coconut chutney or tomoto peanut chutney for those pakodas....in fact we eat it just like that...it has its own taste....
There r just do many chutneys to pair up with them...
Dal tadka is the best!!! Pro-tip (which you probably already know by now, but just in case). When you eat the papadum (also known as appalam in south India) with the food, just break off a small piece and add it to each bite. This will ensure that your papadum doesn’t get soggy. If you break the entire thing at once, it will get soggy! And it’s better when it’s still crispy 😊
Love all your videos, and especially when you try and taste Indian food!
Btw, try "Ghughni"..basically gravy curry of Black chickpeas or Kala channa..Those fritters also use flour of black chickpeas & Not of Kabuli chana or Garbanjo bean(which used in the Chhole/Chana masala u ate in the video here)
This is a very intriguing recipe. I’m especially happy it is dairy free and vegan. I am going to try to make this for my family! I think They will love it. Your clear presentation makes it look so easy. I appreciate you sharing with us. I also make UA-cam videos. I hope to be able to learn more from each other!
Happy to see Indian food anywhere!!

Love your reaction 💞 while having the great food 👍. You are really using your hands well while eating the food. A quick tip : Next time you eat Dal tadka & Rice. Get some basmati steam rice then pour dal takda in good quantity over the rice. Add some ghee(clarified butter) on top. Mix well with your hands. Then put crush of papadam on top. Take some raw onion rings on side. Add some fresh lemon juice over onion rings put a little bit of salt and black pepper over the rings for taste. Also, ask for some raw mango pickle or lemon pickle to the restaurant(this will be your 2nd side item). Now first have a bite of mixed rice&dal takda and then have some onion rings from the side.. you would come know the true taste of dal tadka. On your second bite taste some pickle from the side. This is how an Indian will enjoy a dal fry or dal tadka & basmati rice. 😉😉😉. Last but not the least - Happy Birthday to Jr. Alphanso. Have a good one. 👍 🎉.
They may have thrown in cauliflower or bell peppers or even aubergines(egg plant, brinjal) into the veg pakora to give it that kinda chewy texture. The star looking spice is called star anise lol.
the glow on your skin😍
Thank you! :)
U are so studying and thankful minded that differs from other foreign nationals
If you like to have Daal, then you should go for an Andhra Thaali which is famous for the Daal and spices.
Awesome vlog. If you really wanna try authentic Indian food then you gotta visit India.

Authentically we use gramflour for this the recepie goes like take 1 cup gramflour add salt and a pinch of turmeric and cumin seeds in it and for extra crunch a pinch of baking soda now add water in this and mix it don't add too much water and prepare your batter not too thick not too runny.. now either you can dip your onions, thinly sliced potatoes or any diced veggie in it or just chop some onions roughly and add in it now deep fry it and wallah! Your delicious bhajias are ready.. m from India and we make it atlest twice a week
twice a week you make this?! lucky you haha Im going to attempt to make this recipe tomorrow and we will post the video for you to see! stay tuned :)
@@alfonsoandjessica wow! I will wait for your video then :)
