What makes Hades so Addicting

- Hades is an addictive rogue-like game by super giant games that has captivated peoples interest for half a decade. What is it about this game that pushes people to do the impossible and beat hades on max 64 heat both modded and seeded, as well as without mods and a fresh seed.
A lot of the reason goes down to player control. People like to try out different builds but enjoy being able replicate those exact builds with a level of consistancy. You don't have to search long on youtube to find that the most popular videos by the likes of Haelian, Windette, and Jawless Paul are best Hades builds. You see videos such as The 6 most Overpowered builds in hades, Hades forbidden Builds... but explained in insults, This build is the most fun I have playing with still in hades, and Winning easily with the strongest build.
Hades hasn't died out in 5 years of being available to the public and players are even crossing into the once thought impossible territory of extremely high heat runs to max heat runs. Haelian even had a video entitled "Why Max heat in Hades is Nearly Impossible" talking about how impossible max heat or 64 heat runs are in hades. All before Angel1c being the first to supposedly beat 64 heat unmodded and unseeded.
Something kept these players playing hades long after they beat the story and the epilogue and the mirror, weapon aspect, and god keepsake system slowly led players to adjust the heat to their liking is what it is.
