*I'm deaf in my right ear which is why I'm not wearing headphones. I know, it's a bummer not to get the panning sounds. It's also been a bummer to only have one ear my whole life for lots of other reasons, like, playing telephone growing up, I was terrible at it. @@oriyanbarnes Hi, the really first was something about 25 minutes, then she and Liz Rose made a 10 minutes cut and then they got a 5 minutes version for the album. But yeah, I'm sure all the versions of this would be a delight for the fans in the re-recorded album

@@Catpatrick007 Dear John is her masterpiece, imo, and is personally really important to me because it describes almost word for word an abusive relationship I was in, BUT All Too Well is an easier listen, both sonically and emotionally lol. I think Dear John might also suffer from being the slightest bit too repetitive, whereas the chorus is different every time in ATW. ATW gets away with being a longer song because of that.

Its a great storytelling song, Apparently it was one of the first she wrote for RED (2012) and was much longer before she cut it down to 5.28. The Grammy's 2014 performance is an iconic one. before you get to EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED or ENDGAME, do you think you'll react to ED SHEERAN? (he is a feature in both). My suggestion a good starter would be LEGO HOUSE from his 1st album + ('Plus', 2011). The video is well done and without spoilers it features RUPERT GRINT (Ron from the Harry Potter movies).

Taylor is a storyteller singer. Every song is a cool story that everyone relates to. Getaway car is a good too and Style. I love singers like her and Sara Bareilles that writes and makes you remember everything in your life. There’s a song by Sara that you can listen, is call “basket case” that I know you will love to hear too

everyone considers this to be taylor's best song, but for me her best storytelling comes from a song called "Long Live", which she wrote by herself (all too well has a co-writer) to thank her band, her fans and everyone who supported her over the years. You should check it out, it's so beautifully written and the literary similes she uses are out of this world (there's even DRAGONS)

She has the same effect on me like when I listened to Morrissey’s lyricism. They both make me squirm in agony for how relatable the songs’ are. Morrissey is crueler and more direct with his words (when he sang “if you’re so funny, then why are you alone tonight? If you’re so very good looking, why do you sleep alone tonight?” I FELT THAT SHIT), but they both indulge in the artistry of songwriting only few pop singers could do.

- Taylor Swift: ...Ready for it? (the music video is amazing); Blank Space; Lover
- Avril Lavigne: I'm with you; Complicated; I fell in Love with the Devil
- Bastille: Pompeii; Oblivion; Blame (I personally love the "Vevo presents" version); Glory; Quarter past Midnight; Those Nights.
Probably a lot of people will give you more suggestions with Avril Lavigne and Bastille, but hey! I just wanna hear your thoughts on them since your inputs are always so interesting

I cannot put into words how much I love this song, Taylor wrote so many great songs with beautiful creative lyrics, but this song really hits a string so much. I always go back to this song.
Perfectly crafted song - it folds in on itself and calls back with great circularity. The imagery is so clear and relatable, you feel like you're watching a movie. The build up and dissipation are incredible.

This song is my favorite of Taylor's to see performed (in videos, I'm poor). The entire audience sings, and she throws back her head at the instrument solo. And in the recent performances, she smiles and laughs, because she's turned a painful memory with Jake Gyllenhaal into a beautiful memory with her fans.
