  • Classical Pianist Opeth The Leper Affinity Reaction
    Today I will be reacting to Opeth The Leper Affinity. I know many of you love Opeth and some of you have recommended Opeth The Leper Affinity from The BlackWater Park album and react to it. Opeth The Leper Affinity parts are part of this track, especially at the end. Also, Opeth White Cluster acoustic parts give a nice feeling every minute, leaving you wanting more. You can also hear and enjoy a lot of Opeth The Leper Affinity acoustic instrumental parts.
    Opeth The Leper Affinity lyrics can be found online or on youtube if you want to read while you listen to the track or you can wait until the end where I read the lyrics and give my 2 senses. Also, this is not an Opeth The Leper Affinity concert, only a recorded mastered track. Enjoy For Opeth The Leper Affinity Reaction!

    The Leper Affinity has more majestic riffs than most bands could write in their entire career. I love how it comes full circle, love this song.

    I think this is Opeth's darkest album. Like Deliverance, this was also produced by Steven Wilson, and even he sang a chorus in Bleak. With Still Life you were excited about the last track, because it was the culmination of it all. I hope you like this one, and remember, the sun sets forever over blackwater park!

    Friggin incredible the way this song throws you right into the atmosphere of this album. Great song one of the best of their career imo

    Speaking of piano, several attempts to adapt Opeth songs to solo piano exist, notably Nikola Cvetković's renditions in three volumes. 😀

    That was so satisfying at the end there when you were doing your humming to predict what would come next and it resolved beautifully.

    This is definitely one of the darker albums. Not in my top 3 of Opeth, but still one of the better made metalalbums ever if that makes sense 😁

    • @PJAlphaMusic
      @PJAlphaMusic  Рік тому

      Why makes it darker?

      @@PJAlphaMusic I don't know. I'm not able to explain that😁 I just listen to good music. Fortunately Opeth came on my way and they've got a lot of different styles. Mostly their sound has got some kind of darkness in it, but this one gives me the darkest feels.

    • @Hanz_Goober
      @Hanz_Goober Рік тому

      @@PJAlphaMusic late reply, but this is a dark album because all of the songs are about heinous acts, or death/murder/suicide. This song in particular is about keeping someone locked away, and their body being used for someone else's pleasure.

    I think Steven Wilson played piano on this, the outro is very Steven Wilson esq, maybe he had a hand in writing too?

      It is my personal favourite.. I'm a sucker for concept albums, and the fusion of genres in it really works for me.. I mean jazz, blues, black/death/melodic death metal with some folk spanish guitar and acoustic guitar.. I can't point my finger at what exactly it is.. also the rawness of it (not being overproduced) is something i like..
      BWP is a great album, steven Wilson's production is always top notch, mikael's writing is incredible.. nothing bad about it, just personal taste i guess..
