Indeed, a leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. Great leadership is influence, not authority, defined by results not fake attributes 🖖
I’ve ALWAYS said there’s a difference between being a leader. A leader is influential, and leads from the front. They set examples for others to follow. A boss, in my opinion, is a bully and a headstrong individual who believes he is never at fault for anything.
There are times when you need to lead and times you need to be a boss. Not everybody will respect your leadership as Will the respect you bieng a boss. Choose the vehicle that best suits the delivery
*Its again wrong to pull everything behind you. You have to become something in between a boss and a leader. If you try too hard to become a leader, you may end up becoming a slave, and this is exactly what the world around you wants, they always want you to do their share of the work. Striking a perfect balance between being a boss and being a leader is the key to success. A loser in the team, will always exit when they can not stand the competetion, the loser will always point a finger at the manager or other co-workers for his/her own failures, but that's very reason for which the loser became a loser. Being in the role of a manager, a person needs to identify which all action items are tough and which ones are a bit easier. And the senior resource must volunteer to do the toughest part and allow the juniors to explore the easier part, but the junior must not knpw about it. The junior must always believe he/she is doing the toughest part, or else the junior will not do his/her own work, and will wait for the boss to finish their work first. And this where the junior will give up, and the boss will have to slog additional hours to complete the project, and the junior will remain unskilled.*
The Difference Between a Boss and a Leader. A boss manages their employees, while a leader inspires them to innovate, think creatively, and strive for perfection.
Bosses need to demonstrate their ability to dominate physically and be invincible to demonstrate they have this fiction called authority. Leaders are always respected by anyone who is intelligent, honest and has integrity. Those who want to be ruled in any way at all cannot be trusted with any responsibility at all. They wish to be property of other equal beings. So they pedestalize mortal beings that will not or can not do the same things they expect of others. Leadership over rulers all the time, everytime. Unless of course you're property with no value.
Wow, the White house members that left pretty much are not so good leaders to their country if they left... about 20 to 21 of them, this is how Leadership is important anywhere! Leadership.
Good video up until the end. Some of the examples of leaders at the end where really bad examples! Though Steve Jobs was a genius he was also a tyrant, instilled fear, and called people stupid. And categorizing Mark Zuckerberg with Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and Abraham Lincoln? You're twisting money success with leadership success. What was the whole purpose of this video if you use bad examples at the end? Will Smith would have been a better example than Mark Zuckerberg and just leave Steve Jobs out!
Except that sheep doesnt respect its predator. If the opinion of the sheep is actually good for the Lion why not? Your opinion only differ based on status.
My boss thought the same, let’s say I let him present (the lions idea) then I presented (the sheep) let’s say the lion was gone not too long later! Anyone not listening is falling behind

That's right! 💪
Of course a leader should be part of the team not above. The message I took from this video is never feel like you're superior to anybody.
Awesome takeaway.

great leaders and you show that picture at the beginning??!!!! seriously??!!!!
I've heard that 1 in 10 bosses is a good boss.
Consider yourself lucky if you have a good boss.
I’ve been working for 25 years and can say that in all that time I’ve had 2 great bosses.

MBS had a journalist murdered and dismembered. Duterte has people shot in the street without trial
MBS and Duterte are the examples in the pictures of ideal leaders. Yes. LOL.

sometimes need to be like a boss sometimes needs to be like a leader, the lion doesn't listen to the opinion of the sheep.
