On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

Flying Skills are off the chart, GS. Critical awareness all of the time. And the calmness of the fight, confidence in the cockpit is knowing where the tools are and when to employ them. Nice job !

Proper viewing procedure is as follows, click the video, hit the like button with a fox 2, lock the full screen with an fox 3, and sit back and watch GS body just about everything in the sky. Great stuff always GS!

Been wondering when you'd do this strat of saving a Pheonix / PL 15 / R-33 / R 37 / Meteor until far ,far closer- then nail em with it - rather than dump all 4 at range where they're in range but the opponent isn't going to be hit likely by it. Nice to see GS using some sneaky advanced strats
For the PL 12's - i feel like you could have used them earlier- but you'd have to get REALLY high really fast, and shoot them from like 30k or up- to extend their range to sorta help them act like PL 15's, while you were saving the real ones- but i know you'd have to get back down to dense air fast again
Correct and I didn’t think I could get back down fast enough before a meteor found me, that was the risk factor with going high like that.

That PL15 was still burning like mad even as it hit the Eurofighter.
Also, the size comparison of the PL15 to the PL12 on the rails of the J11B...the former is massive. No wonder it can do such range.
GS, you're to the point of video qualilty and entertainment that you could post a video of you knitting a toque in the back seat of a Ju-88 and I'd watch and up-vote. Keep making the best DCS videos on the net.

I watched a video of a pilot flying the new F-15 EX and the pilot said he was able to perform F-22 like maneuvers with it's all new fly by wire system and I will say he was flying that jet like it had vectoring nozzles so what do you say to a video of the F-15 EX vs the F-22? It might be quite interesting 🤔
I wouldn't have expected it to maneuver that well. I would've thought it would be like a strike eagle, just with way more missiles and better avionics

Why don't missiles get their targeting information straight from data link until they are close enough to go pit bull?
No AWACS so any data link info is coming from the sensors on the fighter, when in an aggressive crank the jet is losing lock

GS - you are truly a good pilot is DCS. You know your equipment (missiles, bombs, etc) and know your different aircraft. It's only when you take risks with F-86 Sabres and with WW2 aircraft - that you become dead meat. If it were me - I would ALWAYS fly the F-22.

meteors seemed to be underperforming
That is because they were fired from relatively low altitudes. In that regard, their ranges arent that much greater than conventional ones. Also GS was going pretty fast in the Flanker to successfully avoid the Meteors.
The meteors are preforming fine like all other videos. No one has ever complained about their performance when they win the fight lol that should tell u something.

How about a Christmass gift in form of one or two PL-15s to these Chineese Flankers at Open Conflict server? Giving them PL-12s was a great idea btw, still they are a bit handicaped against those Eagles and Vipers in BVR :)
wish it was possible brother, the pl15 doesn't exist in the sim so I can't add it to the server without mods, and mods mean other people without it can't join the server. The pl12 was possible because it actually does exist in the game.

There are rumors about the PL-17, which should have even longer range than the PL-15, probably longer than the Meteor
Just rumors. Range is classified for PL-17/PL-21 and Meteor as well
