About the F/A-16, the weapon it carried was a downscaled version of the GAU-8 30mm cannon from the A-10. The single unit equipped with them flew in Desert Storm but only conventional CAS missions, because the vibrations from the gun pod when firing rendered the system unusable and the aircraft borderline uncontrollable.
The M998T transport with the AGL could be really good with those light rifles, not really durable but that's a good amount of support fire for infantry. The AVLM is also sick, can't wait to see that in action. Also I remember those little FAV Buggies from the Modern Combat mod for Battlefield 1942, first time I drove one I ended up losing control and driving into a lake :D

I am talking about the 4th Dutch Infantry division, and not the 4th Polish Motor-rifle division or the British 4th Armoured division. But I get that it is easy to get confused, when there are 3 divisions coming in this DLC that have the nummer 4 in it.
personally i think id forgo the air tab and go more for the infantry artillery and recon, never been a fan of the single transport vehicles but with no passengers just tows, but hopefully after testing u take some of the more high performing units in and the not so useful out. Seems like this division is supposed to run a mix of armed Humvees, helicopters, and tracked National Guard units. I'd think you'd want to open with helicopters, airmobile infantry, and those recon buggies, bring in the wheeled units to fill out the line, and use the tracked units & tanks to push.
The M1008 was an issued vehicle and differs significantly from its civilian counterparts. Not really a technical, it was purpose built for a tons of roles.
Hm. I am a bit disappointed at the new div. Was hoping for more high tech shenanigans than one artillery piece and one UAV. It was advertised as Nato 27ya, but it really doesn't even feel in the same ballpark.
This division alone literally has laser-guided artillery, an armored mine-clearing MLRS, a truck-mounted Hellfire ATGM platform, the fastest ATGM launchers in the entire game with the FAVs, a UAV, and a brand-new ground-attack F/A-16.

Then they realized F-16s make horrible CAS and canceled them doing that role altogether for the rest of desert storm.

That FOLT unit is gonna be crazy good for scouting the back lines for supply depots that the guided arty can smash

if you are older you would know the FAV as being the nod buggy from the original command and conquer as well!
I hope after this the developers will have the sense to make a sensible division in the next Nemesis, like the US Marines and Morskaya.
