Very simple fishing knot Fishing knot SIMPLE and RELIABLE 100% that you did not know ?Homemade for fishing
The simplest fishing knot
This knot combines several of the most popular fishing knots, yet is simple and very reliable.
..: palomar knot, uni knot, fg knot, gt knot, blood knot, albright knot, snell knot, double uni knot, clinch knot, trilene knot, improved clinch knot, loop knot, yucatan knot, braid twister knot, figure 8 knot, san diego jam knot, ashley stopper knot, paracord knot, uni blood knot, modified albright knot, alberto knot, arbor knot, offshore swivel knot., how to tie a fishing knot, braid to mono knots
I used the blood knot for decades then someone showed me the uni knot and it is the best knot I have ever seen. Strong and simple just like me.
Sooo...a polomar with a bunch of unnecessary wraps. Cool👍
Thanks you
Shut yo mouth
The “unnecessary wraps” absorb the impact of the fight when fishing Blue water.
@benlivingston6774 how does a knot absorb impact?
More wraps distribute stress, less stress on one single point,
Best fishing Knot 👍👍👍🤝
You’ve never see the thumbnail knot because it would nullify the swivel. The line would entrap both ends of the swivel and prevent them from doing the very thing a swivel is designed to do. Which, is why I watched it too unfortunately.
Please try first knot with 100# mono. Would like to see loop management
trying to learn this with 20 lb mono and it is not turning out right.
Uni knot is east and good your everything.
I don't know crap about knots...... But for those about to "knot" I salute you.....
Thank you for watching
the best knot I am using it everytime
Thank you for watching
Great video
Thanks for sharing
Looking forward to getting pro “fish” ent at tying them in the field
😂 I crack myself up
Nice tutorial ❤
This is the greatest video ever made
Thanks
Beautiful knots. Great job!
Thanks
Everybody thinks they have the latest and greatest fishing knot.
Thank you for watching
Absolutely 👍
Класс. Узлы бомба. Главное удобно в самом вязании, когда не за столом дома, а на самой рыбалке, спасибо!
Looks like an improved clinch knot that is finished off like a palomar..
Thank you for watching
my sentiments exactly.
Looks simple . Especially when you use yarn. Not easy at all when you're trying to tie 10 lb. super braid
Thank you for watching
Try watching a video using 10lb braid……..
Not impressed with false click bait…. Thumbnail was a knot I havent seen, then shows two knots I have seen 🤨
@@danholtbk7008 me too🤣🤣🤣
Yep! Just gonna say the same thing! Sad, really.
@@danholtbk7008 l ko ko
The thumbnail I saw, wasn’t even a knot…
Same.
Nice, clear and simple. Cheers
simple but strong knot 👍👍
Yes, this is an expanded Palomar knot. Move on. it works.
That's called a Palomar knot and it's one of only two knots that is untiable. The other being a Bimini knot. I've never seen someone double up the line for Palomar though that's very interesting. I will certainly have to try that one to see if there's any added benefit. What I do is pull about 12 in of line and then pinch it three or four inches from the tail and then make a loop and pass the eye end of the line through the loop three times to create my double line and then use that new eyelet of line to do the Palomar which I guess essentially is still double lining of Palomar. So never mind I take that back except well you did yours differently nonetheless. It's just a little bit cleaner. But I feel like having the added section of double line up from the hook also benefits with strength. My family has been saltwater fishing my entire life I'm not nearly as experiences my grandfather was and my brother is. They were truly about that life to an unimaginable degree. However when I was made first mate on his sport fishing yacht while my brother was the captain I finally came across a nighttime book and practice time each and every single knot in it. The Bimini knot is great when doing bill fishing and other big fish fishing with monofilament because it acts like a spring however because I absolutely suck Italian Bimini not I went with the Palomar instead because it's so simple lol.

Appreciated and saved.
Nice. Thanks
Awesome! Thank you!
КАК ВСЕГДА ПОНЯТНО И КАЧЕСТВЕННО ПОКАЗАНО
Amazing trick nice 👍
Thanks you
One video to rule them all. I’ll be setting up my leaders like this. Headed to the Bahamas and tying to get ready.
Thank you 😊
Thanks you 😊
Good tutor Sir...👍
video very clear...👍
That 2nd knot is 1 good tug away from failure
It Really doesn't have to be a good tug. That will pull out with just a fairly light tug. I just tied it, and it FAILED IMMEDIATELY. I did it 3 times and got the SAME RESULTS each time. If he had taken the loop around the shank or made a loop THROUGH the loop, it wouldn't fail AS FAST but it still fails.
You guys are funny. I use this all the time. I have brought sharks in with it.
@@joshuapapineau6402 Sharks ? With the knot tied EXACTLY like this example ?
Your funny, how are you tying this knot with any kind of mono or fluorocarbon that's heavy enough for a shark lolololol are they toothless sharks ??
@@robertmccabe7635 he probably uses a DIFFERENT version of this knot.
Tony Omrod
Very interesting
A simple clinch knot seems easier and works just as good.
No it doesn't
@ericvolker5646 While I disagree that it isn't just as good, I'd like to know your reasons why you think a simple clinch knot wouldn't be as good? I believe it is because its a commonly known knot that most people know very well, it's a strong enough knot using the swivel size in the video and, in my experience, has never failed me in 40+ years of fishing. Granted, in some instances, it won't be a string enough knot, but it is obvious in this video that those applications aren't being addressed.
@@scottcollette2755 There are already several videos demonstrating different knot strengths using different types of line at varying thicknesses using lab equipment like tensile strength testers and calibration certified scales. Not to mention knot tying tournaments that usually take place at fishing conventions. Standard clinch and improved clinch do usually test lower than other knots like the palomar (first knot in this video, some variation of it anyway) and snell (second knot). With some softer old school type mono line like Ande, clinch seems to test higher than normal. Would never use it with braided line for any application. I've been fishing for a long time too and can tell you there's not a single person tying a clinch knot fishing for 200 lb bluefin in San Diego and Mexico. You're either using a Jam, SD Jam, Double SD Jam, or Palomar. Ultimately though and to your point, tying a knot well and setting your drag appropriately will do you much more good than using the strongest knot in the world and running the drag too tight.
@jthomasomally absolutely in the scenario you described, fishing for larger and heavier fish a clinch/improved clinch is inferior. I was referring more towards freshwater where a 20-30 pound Northern Pike usually won't break a properly seated clinch/improved clinch knot. I know the knot itself is not as strong as many others, but for me, it is faster and easier for me to tie, and I have never had one break in the application I use it. Fishing saltwater or targeting larger fish I do use a stronger knot such as a Palomar. I'm just not as practiced with it. I appreciate your insight. Thank you for the discussion. I will be sure to practice tying them more often as its always important to keep improving.
@@scottcollette2755 Clinch knots are fine on thicker lines, but thin nylon or braid even the improved clich is not as strong, here the stress is across 2 wraps around the swivel, clinch all the way though as the go to hook knot, the first one here I would only use for braid to swivel
Awesome 👏
Sangat kuat simpul pancing ini 👍👍💯🙏
Thank you for watching
Well done!
Chique , ótima opção em amarrar a linha. Parabéns.
thanks
good job my friends
Thank you
First knot looks perfect, second one @ 2:05 looks like the line could go into the hooks gap on the eyelet! I have had hooks with a gap there.
Buy better hooks, there should never be a gap in the eye of the hook.
Gamakatsu, whats better@@teeanahera8949
That kink as it comes through the eye will weaken the line, you may as well tie the hook as if it was a spade end pattern and not use the eye at all
@@teeanahera8949 Owner! better?
Le noeud palomar y ressemble beaucoup, il est aussi très efficace.
Nice ❤️❤️
Thank you
Nice video!!
Nice 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you
Been using the first knot for I guess 61 years now so nothing new here.
Thank you for watching
i'll be honest, i don't fish, but i liked the video for the music
Odlično,bistro✅👌🎣
Wow! You know how to tie a noose😂
Like a Polymar and a Uni had a baby
@@nateitscake88 thanks
I actually use the first knot on almost every hook it tie, I NEVER loose a hook(from time with that knot)
Buddy, the word is *lose. If you don’t tie your knot tightly it may become loose and you will lose your hook.
NICE
Isn’t this a different way to tie a palomar?
It is, and I don't think you would be able to tighten the knot with all that going on...
Yea just alot of unnecessary twisting
My exact thoughts.
It looks fancier!
@@Wolf-vc4wj if it is not fancy then it is crap! lol
Cool
Will this know work good with mono? Trying out new knots so i would like to know. Thanks
I have been fishing for a long time and I would not use either one . Especially the 2nd one
I came for the music
Now do it with something other that grandma's yarn😂
Second knot looks like it would pull out under the load from a big fish.
Palomar knot baby
Yeah.... I would like to see if that second knot holds or knot..... lol
For simplicity I will stick to using my good old uni not
Nice video! I want to make some of my own but didn’t find a nice high-vis line to use- what is the line you used for the second knot?
So were tying nooses gotcha
Apparently you don't know what a noose is.
I'm so confused on how that first knot works.
Breaking strain?
This training is excellent
What camera do you use? Thank you for your answer
Picturesque
I always use palomar knot with braid. Has nebula failed
Glad your nebula has never failed. It’s your knots we worry about.
How thick is that fishing line?
Chow essas amarração 👍👍👍
thanks
The modified Palomar knot is probably not as strong as the Palomar
Thank you for watching
He's only tying a half blood knot, nothing amazing there. Anglers use this knot all the time using nylon filament.
Thank you for watching
Outstanding
Fisherman's and snelling knots didn't resemble the thumbnail.
Thank you for watching
Palomar knot is simple and works. Why try using those?
What percentage of strength is lost with this knot?
Thank you for watching
Any amount is too much. There's no need in all that twisting in the beginning of the first knot and it will weaken it, if it doesn't jam.
Чё то много накручивает.Можнр в 10 раз меньше. ; (
👍👍
I go fishing & catch fish... knots have to be the most overrated aspect...know a few and ur good to go!! 🐟
I started watching because of thumb nail shoot on video. I read the first comment about click bait and made this comment I will not visit your site or any other site that employs click bait. Won’t see ya!
those are strong knots. but why bother with it, a normal paloma knot or trilene knot holds up well.
yeah i think the palomar if done right is a 100% knot
Просто та практично ))
Дякую))
Clickbait Knot - super reliable when fishing on the couch.
So… that’s dirty tactics.
Thank you
First one is over kill. One time is sufficient. Stopped watching immediately afterwards
Thank you for watching
Why not just the polymer knot
I'm going to have to trty these. 90 percent of of my bait and hooks get lost in the water, due to breaking off
Wet the line before pulling your knits tight, especially if you're using monofilament.
If your fish are breaking off above the knot then it is not your knot’s fault. If the line is pulling through the knot then basically you need to increase friction around the hook eye and within the knot itself, that stops it pulling free. There are knot apps for mobile phones that are free.
@@teeanahera8949 thanks. Do you recomend a good fishing line and reel? I accidently broke my old one
Maybe u should try the palomar knot. Ive been using it for yrs and have not lost a hook or hardbait cuz of knot failing
Navlakusa za lajk📑👎
what is knot called that was tied to hook?
useless
A double improved cinch knot finished with a Palomar type loop and a snell knot with unnecessary effort. Nothing new, I have been doing the first for almost 50yrs.
👍👍👍👍👍
these are obvious knots,
they are known to all spinning anglers.
Why not just use a Palomar knot for every single application?
Why would you use a Palomar on a Rapala or a crappie jig when you could catch more fish using a loop knot?
Not what was in the thumbnail...
What are the names of these knots? 🤔
The first one is a version of the Palomar knot. A regular Palomar knot (without the twisting 4 or 5 times in the beginning) is stronger. The second one is some type of snelling. Don't know exactly what it's called.
Thats just a polymer knot on steroids.
alterations of hangman noose. Not a good Knot. The binding portion is only the loop , and it is a single strand clasping the hook or jig. and often breaks. Just as hangman nooses would often break with fat people. If you want to keep what you hook. Dont use these knots
Just use a Palomar knot, this was a waste of time.
Load of of old tosh, that many turns makes the knot weaker, usual click bait
Why the clickbait fcol?
It's not stronger than palomar. Useless clickbait
