There's actually a science behind your cold pan technique. Also hot oil will make it brown too quick, because heat isn't being distributed as cood as cold oil warming up. Yes, monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a known neurotoxin, or excitotoxin, that can have damaging effects on the brain and nervous system. MSG is a man-made chemical derived from glutamic acid, an amino acid that's essential for brain health. However, too much glutamate can overstimulate neuron receptors, which can weaken and exhaust the neurons, potentially leading to death. Studies have shown that MSG can affect the chemical composition of the hippocampus, which can activate neurodegenerative pathways. Other studies have found that MSG can cause neuronal damage in the cerebrum, hippocampus, and cerebellum

MSG stands for Mono Sodium Glutamate. Guess what? Glutamate (Glutamine) is an amino acid that your body already has and uses. It is there in meat abundantly. It is NOT a nerve poison. It gives the "Umami" flavour that you get from meat and tomato.

reminds me of Sunday dinners a long time ago. really nice times. God bless!
Thank you for posting this! I’m going to fry my chicken exactly like you did, MINUS the MSG. Sista, MSG is so bad for us… but I’ll use a healthier alternative 🤗
MSG is found in tomatoes lol it’s not bad for you
@@hunterbrooke6409what’s naturally found in vegetables is different than the man made. It reacts differently
@@hunterbrooke6409- it’s also in mushrooms.
@@tiad.9142- this is so true. Thing is people don’t realize this and the big companies that make it always use that it’s found in tomatoes and mushrooms. So right away people think it’s safe.
Good timing. I'm doing chicken for dinner tonight and I've got heaps of rosemary also. Thanks.
I would still avoid the msg tho. It’s a nerve poison. The food should still taste good without it and will def be healthier. It sure looks good. ❤thank you!
I sure hope you don’t eat any tomato products
thats not true. thats just propaganda
MSG stands for Mono Sodium Glutamate. Guess what? Glutamate (Glutamine) is an amino acid that your body already has and uses. It is there in meat abundantly. It is NOT a nerve poison. It gives the "Umami" flavour that you get from meat and tomato.
@@KCtheGreatest- mushrooms have it also
Someone recently mentioned this method to me, and your video magically popped up in my feed. Funny how that seems to happen. Thanks for showing the process and giving a few good insider tips. The gravy looks great too. Will definitely serve this to my family in the near future.
Nice recipe! It looks excellent, will try.
This looks super yummy! I am glad I got all my herbs in garden as well!
Please Please, do some real research on MSG, it is so so bad for you. I used to use it in my cooking years ago and I started having bad headaches when I'd wake up in the mornings. It's been said that it damages brain cells, but don't take my word for it, do y 9:19 our own research. Other than that, I'm gonna try your method of cooking my chicken, looks really good, thanks.
Do you get headaches when you eat Doritos? How about potato chips?😅
No headache here 💪
You got good lookin results without oil. Will try you way soon. I've been deep frying unbreaded chicken thighs in peanut oil to avoid carbs. You've managed to avoid oil too. Nice!
People, please wash your chicken
Yeah, she lost me with that. Signing off lol.
I thought that’s why she washed the duck because she said she cleaned her chicken in it.
Supa Dupa facts
Washing chicken splatters contaminants. Nope.
They don't wash proceed chicken and they complaining about chemicals😂
Omg looks good. Simple too.
YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO WASH CHICKEN!!! CULINARY SCHOOL RULE NUMBER 1. USDA guidelines
USDA is killing people and would get my money back from that school! Always wash your chicken and pat dry, AND from those that actually know better butchering their own will tell you so.
It's her kitchen. Not the end of the world, plus she took literally every other step to avoid cross contamination.
It's ok to point out the guideline, but it's really not an issue that a lot of non-American cultures don't follow that rule in their personal kitchens.
THANK YOU!!! Don’t wash meat!
My father's deep-fried chicken looked very similar with maybe just a little coating showing. It was my favorite fried chicken with the chicken being the focus and not a heavy coating. Have subscribed so I can see more of your ideas. Thank you!
THANK YOU!!!!!!! I had no idea chicken could be fried without oil and flour. Can't wait to try. YUMMY!!!!!
I'm down with one of your previous chicken thigh recipes ("hubby asks for it every week") and it's the first clear winner thigh recipe I've found. Love it.
On a different note, I love your big hair at foodie advertisement at the start. Loud and proud! You go girl.
I REALLY enjoyed your video on how to fry chicken with no oil. Amazing!! When you bit into that chicken thigh which is my favorite part of the meat I could hear the crunchy part of the skin. I Love the skin! This I must try!
That looks good so i don't need no grease to cook chicken it has enough skin to make its own grease wow thanks for video ❤❤
I do love it. Good video. But I doubt that I would do all that frame with no oils are flower to get that chicken is crispy feeling but to know that I am cutting way down on my calories, and then make a gravy to pour all over it.😊
This is great I saw this on Miss Pam's Channel or it might be called Chef Pam's I'm not sure but I tried it immediately it came out great I do thank you you went into a little more detail and your gravy is spot on😊😅❤ I'm sorry it's called Cooking at Pam's place
Oven fried chicken is basically the same but less wk.
What is a good substitute for white dry wine?
Ooooo girl here you go again! I'm a dark meat person and these thighs are going to be my weekend meal. I adore you Camirra and all your fabulous recipes and those tips to use fresh herbs are still saving lives all over the world girl! I'll come back with the follow up after making it. I'm so excited!
Beautiful and an amazing cook. You are so BLESSED ✝
Love that technique. Thank you.
Definitely looks legit. Good recipe!
That looked really good. I'm never mad when I have to make gravy!
I will definitely try that recipe, I usually oven-fried chicken thighs . And when they're done I put a little honey on on them. And usually I serve them with mashed potatoes or rice, and pour the dripping from the cast iron pan on the mashed potatoes or rice. Love your video much love❤❤❤❤
looks delicious. I wonder if I can add more spice to it. like traditionally.
it will actually taste quite good as it is. esp with the gravy. i know its not heavily spiced, but the instense crisping of the skin and browning of the meat gives it a great flavor. plus herb in the oil make a big diffence.
@@CamirrasKitchen Love it. I'm going to try it.
