Very funny at the end realizing the 45 blocks and all the kimchi consumed. What makes it so funny is how straight you play it. That’s comic intuition. You got it!!! That’s why you’re a New Yorker!!!
Chris, I have been following you for along time now. I am a NYC transplant living on the West coast and so miss the NYC food and dirty water dogs! I love your Schtick and consistent light outlook on NYC and life. Not to get too personal but, I am curious as to what you do for living and if you are your own boss you come across to have a lot of time on your hands, successful and confidant. Thank you for all that you offer, I could never eat that many hotdogs in my diet. You are a character!
Can't wait to go to NY to get that dog!😋 Love your style & content brother. Especially how you have "conversations" with your viewers as if we were hanging out there with you in the flesh👍
That beef hot dog definitely looks like its worth $6! thanks for another great video, it gives me ideas on where to go for hot dogs in NYC when Im there visiting family. I admire your passion for your craft.
Excited to see the new mic in action! Also I really enjoy the ambient city noises so make sure it doesn’t cut out all the noise. Not sure if others agree but it adds a nice immersive feel to the video.
Haha! I called it, kimchi as a topping! Glad you tried it. I grew up loving the kraut and onion sauce but I've coverted to kimchi since I tried it. And yes, that jar should be kept cold, idk. I intend to watch your videos and head into the city to try your favorite spots once my body heals from the 20 hot dogs I've eaten in the last week after trying kimchi on my first one. I still love my classic toppings but after trying kimchi mixed with mustard or kraut, I feel like it's either a classic with the works or just kimchi. keep up the good work
Good on you for trying the chicken dog, never know when you're gonna find a gem. Beef>chicken. On top of that the chicken one is TINY. Time for me to go get a hot dog with sourkraut, onions and Mustard
I went there around this time last year on my first trip to NYC, me and my friends were walking towards Central Park and bumped into the Mark Hotdog stand by accident and instantly I remembered watching a video of Jean Georges making a hot dog and hearing and seeing how good it was that I tried it out and man it was the best $6 I ever spent, I should of gone back for another one 😅
Another great video. When you were going back for the chicken dog, I kept saying "don't do it". Butt I think 7.8 might be the highest score you ever gave a chicken dog.
I guess they know what they're doing. I would have guessed that maybe kimchi AND kraut AND mustard AND pickle might overwhelm the dog with sour, but they must use suitably mild versions.
@@tonynicoletti8161 I have seen. In Poland we eat a lot of pickles and other cucumbers, but they should be stored in a cool place, not in the heat. In the video, the jars are outside where it's hot, not in a cool place such as a refrigerator or a cool air-conditioned place. If I do, I'm writing through a translator because my English is not good. Greetings
I love NJ hot dogs. I was born there and after parents divorced me and my brother moved to Ohio with mom and when we went by to NJ to see our father we would always go to the Windmill hot dog place and get a larger hotdogs in natural casing with sourkraut and mustard. Yum o. My mouth is watering now. I think they were called Schickhouse hotdogs.
You should try to recreate some of your favorite hot dog recipes, record it and upload it here. Might be fun. I’ve been looking up hot dog recipes here on UA-cam and going to try them out.
You walk that far in those fancy shoes of yours?.. Wow..😂.. Your dogs must bark at the end of the day…. So true about investing in your brand.. I was surprised with your Temu mic after you upgraded your camera.. You were so excited with that fancy cam..It was like wearing a tux with a pair of Walmart Crocs..🤭.... I remember when you were shy about showing your face.. Now that huge noggin is front and center..🤣… I think you got a lot of compliments… well deserved btw..👌🏾
@@NYCHotDogStandsMan, with that skin care regimen you got going and that head of hair, you have no worries my friend..😂.. I can smell your cologne through my phone..😅..
It wasnt kimchi that did that to your gut it was the bread. If you fast long enough and eat enough fermented foods like kimchi you will be able to eat anything you want. I mean you could always blame his kimchi but the more fermented the better.✌
The sauerkraut is also fermented, and he eats that all the time with no problem. Maybe it was due to everything sitting on the counter without any refrigeration, including the mayonnaise.
@@NYCHotDogStands I mean that's great that you can do that but in that kind of heat not healthy for me at least you're younger I don't want to walk 40-something blocks lol great video
I don’t live in New York so I’m not familiar with things there, but wasn’t there a better option than walking 50+ blocks? Closer subway exit or something? Just curious. You do have me wanting to go get some hot dogs in NY however. 😂
WOW Up town hot dog!!! I have been wondering... what kind of work do you do in your office. I know it has nothing to do with your videos and hot dogs, but I was just wondering.
I've never had Kimchi but I looked it up and it sounds very interesting. I'm thinking some people would have the chicken dog because of dietary issues. My wife has cholesterol issues and so she eats turkey dogs ...... I can't stand them !

Never been to NYC and don't plan to, so I genuinely like seeing the sights and hearing the noise, the food reviews are a bonus 👍
Really enjoyed this one. I would go back for the beef all day. Need to visit UES more.

Chris, the sarcasm has gotten great. Keep it up!
watch the berlin hot dog guy he wears the cart on his body uses pita bread also and heats it and club rolls and the foodie girls overseas
Chris the advice on the double kimchi is spot on. I know that feeling. 9.8 for a dirty water hot dog is amazing.

Considering how much cheaper chicken is than beef, one would expect the chicken dog to be larger.
These jars of cucumbers, sauerkraut and kimchi should stand in a cool place and not so on top because it is hot
