- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Roulette! In this series @MBTYuGiOh and I spin a wheel featuring every Secret Pack in Master Duel. We then build decks using 20 of only those Secret Packs before playing a Match to determine that episode’s winner. The winner of each episode gets to decide if they want the first or second Secret Pack from the wheel during the next episode, but they must choose before seeing what the second spin lands on! We need to make a reddit custom of a little ghost mbt as a ghostrick card. Just need a name, the art and an effect. The lore is just all the Ghostricks decided to kill mbt for his transgressions against the community
@@patchworkgolem Ghostrick Bumblus. It flips all face-down monsters face-up on summon. And face-up monsters cannot be flipped face-down. Think Light of Intervention for the other part.

@@TWLSpark It's not random numbers, it passes the "is a valid credit card" algorithm check. Besides that though, nothing really indicating it's real. Could just be copied from some "fake credit card numbers" website or something, or could be real but like a in-store card or something.
I saw MBT pulled Ghostrick, so I checked the video length and very quickly figured out the result.
This episode was Shut-ins vs *SPORTS!* , a match with two opposites.
This episode was also a perfect demonstration of the drawbacks of each type of pack (multi archetype and single archetype packs).
The ghostrick community about to get in and attack them for playing like ghostrick googley balls or something
I'd complain if MBT didn't pick the pack.

That one Ghostrick Doll activation was a game throw. It allowed Doug to regain control of the board by breaking the lock and once again opened up an angle to attack directly.

This episode was hilarious, specifically because of the turnaround. Usually, Doug is groaning and has his head in his hands at how badly his deck is hosed by what MBT pulled, while MBT can't stop laughing at the situation. This time, Doug had the last laugh.
Obviously MBTs' problem was that he included more than 2 Ghostrick cards in his Ghostrick deck.
You know it's a roulette episode when Master Duel Story bot plays Ghostrick better than MBT
I think the issue with MBTs deck is that it was playing too many ghost tricks

I'm just glad I get to watch Doug play the Basketball archetype, and then a few hours later, get to watch the first Kings Playoff game in 17 years.

I know it's mostly just banter to trash on Ghostricks but as someone who has played the archetype a ton, I just wanted to chime in to say that this episode was very enjoyable to watch and the games were very close 🙏 I was tearing my hair out after the spectre and doll misplays but can't expect MBT to be an expert on the deck since he has only played 2 main deck cards 😂 Shame he never got an angel

I actually got to Platinum in season 1 with handtrap-less UAs. They are definitely one of my favorite archetypes of all time. Just got done with wheel spins and I know this is about to be a banger of a video 👊

Joseph and Doug ending up with some of their biggest meme/pet decks in a single episode is a dream come true.
Damn Doug really hurting me with the flower cardian disrespect, I’ll have you know they’re the best deck that can draw half its deck and end with absolutely nothing on board after 0 handtraps from their opponent!
Probably my favorite series you and mbt do.
Kinda funny how that 10 minute testing episode has given ghostrick more attention and popularity than ever.
So what MBT doesn’t know is ghost trick is hard countered by FA/UA
its so sad that the pack hasnt been updated to include festival or the reborn spell card. More sad that this deck is really fun to play with all its different win conditions but does nothing because it needs an omni negate attached to a flip condition counter trap/hand trap.

Finally, an excuse to vent. Savage Dragon is one good example of weird proportions. OK, it's chibi fine. But what's up with Laundry Dragonmaid? She's the same height as Ash Blossom but has the same proportions as normal. Did they shrink her so all 'mates' have the same height? No, because look at Revendread and Gaia who are huge. Is it too much to ask for consistency? If they were all a little stylized like borreload it would feel better.
This episode was amazing. I love how U.A. somehow counters ghosticks.

Another misplay was leaving Specter face up. If it's effect wasn't being negated you'll want to activate all Ghostricks built in effect to turn themselves face down before passing turn so that traps like go-round and Scare are live on the opponent's turn ❤
Oh, Hang-On Mach...It's proof for Konami releasing cards without checking how they'd affect the game's balance. That card was busted in Duel Links, because of a skill that lets you raise a monster's level by the level of a monster in your hand. Of course, every fucking Blue-Eyes-player used it!
This is the worst and funniest roulette episode so far, love it.
I've been keeping this bottled up for too long. Every time I hear MBT I think 'main battle tank' which is sort of fitting

Man I am such a fan of the Arcana Force archetype's theme and the character that played them but they are just soo bad Ojamas have more of an ability to do things the only usable decks I've seen usually just include the field spell and The World. I doubt it would of mattered in the long run but should of actually attacked those whip crossers
They have been going on a gx buff season in the tcg and arcana force could have something help them a lot

Athletes pack, I love them. The U.A. deck is unplayable in this format because all of their normal summons and field searchers are UR. I need to craft maybe like 5-6 SR after bought 4 packs, after I got almost all cards from the pack, except the SRs U.A.
But in another hand, F.A. is realy cheap and they have a lot of low rarity monster and good spells. This F.A. is one of the best deck in N/R format because how cheap their cards but with good effect.
So ghostricks died to taxes.
Doug actually got me to buy F.A.
in the end the ghostrick community got what they wanted
f.a. is decent used to win a lot in masterduel before i dismantled most of the cards for another deck
I love Ghostrick but man did Master Duel do the deck dirty so many UR's and SR's for a deck that's unplayable outside of casual.

Why did you set Ghostrick Lantern at the start of game one? Was that a misplay? All the level one Ghostricks are hand traps and are better kept in the hand my dude. I would've played that Ghostricks Museum, set go-round and then just passed turn.
