This reminded me of a nighttime treat my mom used to make when I was a kid (a few decades ago).
Saltines, smear of peanut butter and 5 mini marshmallows on each one, toasted in the oven for less than a minute (low broil until marshmallows are browned).
Makes for an easy, gooey, salty, slightly sweet snack.

I make these every Christmas with graham crackers (they performed better for me than saltines) and no chocolate - just a little sea salt sprinkled across the top as soon as they come out of the oven. They’re always the best after sitting for at least 24 hours in a container. 😊 ETA: But I LOVE seeing how Emmy does hers, as I love how she does everything! ❤️

I never tried the fudge, but used to make potato candy by mashing a large potato while hot and stirring in 2 cups powdered sugar and 1 C. peanut butter. Let it cool and form into balls that can be rolled in chopped peanuts, cocoa powder, coconut or dipped in melted chocolate.

Hi, Emmy! I just had to say that I grew up in Portland, Oregon, and my mom ALSO used to take us to See's Candies once a year! We always went in summer because my family's FAVORITE candy from See's (aside from their California Crunch, which is a close second for us,) is their seasonal "Summertime" chocolates! OMG, they are the BEST! Have you had them?!? If not, you simply MUST try them next time you get a chance! I can eat a whole pound of them to myself, no joke. Haha!
Anyway, I love this video, this is a treat that was very popular to make in my old Portland neighborhood as a kid, so it really takes me back. Thank you for sharing your awesome recipes and videos with the world, and thank you so much for always staying so positive! It really helps me keep my faith in the beauty of humanity nowadays, and I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling this way. You rock! Can't wait to see what videos you have to come!
