    TR maker makes a lil adapter that allows you to clamp your scales into a slotted metal strip that attaches to your surface grinder.

    Great video! I’m new to knife making and plan on trying some segmented scales on one of my next builds, so this was perfect timing. I was wondering, can you use CA glue instead of epoxy or is it not tough enough?

      @@mhager017 welcome! I know some people use CA to attach the liners to the back of the scales but not to connect the segments together nor attach the scales to the knife. Since I’m selling these and I haven’t experimented around with CA glue enough to be confident in it, I will only use a good slow cure epoxy like Gflex.
