Canadian shooting stars UNLEASH THE ARCHERS have been on the road since their inception in 2007. Since then they have created an immensely loyal North American fan base. With a fresh sound, precise songwriting and the incredible feeling for heaviness and melodies, this power quintet with singer Brittney Slayes are now ready to take the rest of the world. Their new studio album Time Stands Still, is fast-paced and wildly entertaining; the combination of power vocals, death screams, tasty guitar licks and complex drumming provide a little something for everyone. fellow metalheads. what we have here is a female version of rob halford/bruce Dickinson level voicework going on. I stumbled across this band lass than a hour ago and I am hooked. this band is great and write great songs but they would not be the same without her. she is amazing and literally brought me to tears in another video.

Brittney Slayes has the best "Metal" voice in the world right now. There are other top voices with operatic quality, but Brittney owns the Rock/Metal number one position. UTA owns it!

If you want the truly great powerhouse singers of the genre at this current time, then it's: Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast), Nitte Valo (ex- Battle Beast, current Burning Point), Kobra Paige (Kobra And The Lotus), Marta Gabriel (Crystal Viper)... Those are the best that come to my mind.

Naw, Elize Ryd for sure. Lzzy Hale may even be better. I might be saying this because the subject matter/style they write for this chick isn't very..... flattering. She has talent though. She should join a band that uses her tone instead of her pitch as the focus.
sadly music itself is not just generic or bland-it completely fades into background.The producers or the band itself were smart enough to accentuate the strengt of the lead's voce,but I think it would be better if they brought everything else up to that level.Or,alternatively, found better composers and musicians in another band.

I discovered this band yesterday from a UA-cam recommendation. After one song, I went to Amazon and bought the album. They are poised to be right up there with Symphony X and old Dream Theater as far as power, complexity and awesome song writing.
