Cacnea, Cacturne and Maractus 1000% need some love! Also agree with the Houndour move would be solid. Could you imagine Houndour as an early route encounter??
@@PokeBoysPodcast I never played Gen 4 but that’s one thing I loved about BDSP was getting a Houndoom so early and actually getting to use it!
@@PokeTrainer_Jbyrd I'm a huge fan of theorycrafting stuff like this for pokemon. There are so many quality changes that could be made in retrospect haha.

Cool concept for a video, hard for me to agree on most of the portions about moving gen 1 mons around since most of them seem so iconic to me.
Really like the concept of having a split cacnea evolution though!
Also feel like some of the fire pokemon, especially Houndour, could be moved to Gen 4. I've always considered that to be the worst generation for fire types, especially prior to post game.
@@AnimeBarLounge thanks! I put a few more gen 1 pokemon in there just cuz it’s so iconic that those ones to me feel over shadowed and wanted to show them love. Definitely a fun “what if” video to make.

Tbh so many peopel give Whitney flag for crying after losing. At least she gives you imediently afterwards the badge, not like Chair who (INTENTIONALLY) send you to an (in her eyes) impossible task just to get the badge you rightfully earned

Yeah, I like Claire but wish they didn't have 2 crybaby gym leaders in the same generation. Especially the Dragon Type which to me in the year 2000 was the most menacing type. And good call on the Corphish thing! I've heard about that before but totally spaced when making this.
