Great video! Even though I'm Team Canon, the points about having a camera to grow with, that can challenge you, really resonated with me. Looking forward to the next one!
Excellent video! How would you shoot a long video (30+ min)on the fx3 in slog 3 outdoors where the light is constantly changing, with no one behind the camera? In other cameras you can set auto iso and the exposure will adjust automatically. If you shoot in base iso in slog 3, will you have to correct exposure in post as the light changes? Thanks for your insight!
man… i’ve been watching videos left and right about Cine EI and wouldn’t really understand, i would just grasp the basics but i would still be lost about it, thankfully your video just made me realize everything i wouldn’t understand, thank you ! this is the first video i’ve seen from you and i can say you definitely have an amazing skill of saying something with a lot of passion and straight to the point! 🙏🏻🖤
Dude. This comment made my day. I have been nervous about talking about this, as there are so many videos and explanations on this topic. I'm so happy this helped you! Thanks for being here and welcome to the channel!
So this is just second hand information, and other users' experiences. But in short, the compressed files seem to be harder to process. So depending on the capacity of your machine and the software you are using, you might end up with a bigger challenge with those files. It's ironic as the files are smaller, but it might make sense knowing that the files have gone through a "process" to be smaller/compressed. I hope that was clarifying!
The way you elaborated all the points covering both the camera and your film making is very helpful. Loved the video❤
Thank you so much! Really appreciate that!
Interesting.

Thanks, buddy! It's never about the camera but the operator. Still, the camera can change the operator!
Excellent video!

what is the windcover for the 416 microphone?
I am pretty sure it's the Sennheiser MZH 600 :)
Thanks for this! I'm curious about what you mean when you say XAVC-S is hard to work with. Can you say a bit more? How so?
