Sony ISO 12800 Test: 12800 is not as good as they say it is. I was shocked when I did a test and comparison. The goal of the test was to see if there were any differences between the Sony FX6, FX3, and ZV-E1 when it comes to ISO and 12800. There have been rumours about the newest firmware affecting the ISO ability of the ZV-E1 and the FX6, and I thought I'd see if it could survive the test.
The 12800 ISO has been Sony's weapon agains low light over the last 3-4 years, and with the FX3 it really changed the game. But how good is the Sony ISO really? Is Sony FX3 good in low light, or is it just marketing?
