It's funny how priorities can make such a difference. In another video, he explained that he did what he enjoyed most so when he worked for, he still had joy in his life. I have recently gotten married, and bought a house with my wife, and I can tell you, at 25, I figured I would be renting. I decided to focus on getting a job I love while my wife focused on a good job that pays well. We are both content, and seeing this video reminded me that I have so much more to do and do in my life. Some days it feels like you checked off your list of goals and you realize you need new ones, and it can be tough, because you don't know when to just maintain versus adding to your experience. I would say it comes down to what you want out of life. I would personally like to experience something incredible but I don't know what that is. I'm full of fears, and beliefs that are hard to let go of, but I know I must let go if I want to grow out of my current life and expand from where I am. It's not always easy and can take a deep change, but a lot of these videos talk about that, and I think it's a good thing that he shares all of this.

@@BornOnThursday Man, I love your comment. It really resonates with me right now. Unlike you, I am 34 and single, but the way you described the doubts and uncertainty, mixed with the inner need to work on something, all that while being scared of the change that you want, feels like such a deep dive in my current state of mind. Whish I had some answers for your questions, but sometimes it helps to just know that you are not the only one who feels that way. The one thought that might work for you, which I am learning how to apply for me, is that fear is really just a feeling, and we are scared only of the things that we don't know or understand- the fear is always a part of the problem at some level.

I am 14. And an ordinary small town girl. I go to school, read romance books, and love poetry. As you can see I’m like millions of people in the world. Most people don’t know this, but I have been recovering from severe depression and anxiety. But now I’m maturing myself and my habits, and In doing that I’m leaving some friends behind that encouraged things that were immature or harmful for my mind and body. I’m leaving behind friends that cared about their phone more than me. I’m leaving friends who tore me down, but came running back to me when times got tough. Even when I would be with them when times were tough, they would ditch me when I was on rocky surfaces. My mind, how I think about things, and my maturity levels are now greatly improved. Most people in my grade are still immature, and now watching them have the same habits I once did makes me really think about how much I have changed. I’m only 14, but I feel “wise” per say. Many people come to me for advice because they know they can count on me. I’m so grateful to find other people who think the same way I do. I wish nothing but the best for you. Good luck everyone, and remember it’s important to be happy. Even if it means cutting out things in your life that you thought made you happy. Have a great day and thanks for existing. I’m so proud of you, and how far you have come

You remind me of when I was in my teens.
20’s brought a lot of hospital visits and then being orphaned.
It took me until now to get back into something stable...
I think now is a good time to start reinventing myself.
I know everybody is focusing on your age... but that doesn’t really matter besides being real with yourself about how much time you have.
I just turned 30, and have only been out of homelessness for about 4 years with a stable job.
I guess my point is, sometimes something major you can’t account for can happen.
But seeing someone wanting to refine themselves helps give hope that there is an “after” after something big.
    You can always become something.
    Any age.
    Any time.
    You can do it.

I fast mostly during the day, drink lots of water. Then once im home I do my short work out - eat then I work on freelance work. It sounds busy but damn I actually look forward to getting up early and haveing that hour to myself. Its now my favorite part of the day. And I am happier throughout the day strangely. I'm less stressed. Sure I'm sleepy by 7-8pm but them I can fall asleep at 10. My partner works late so during lockdown my sleep schedule started following his. We started going for night time walks to avoid people between 1-4 am. I'd moved from the country to the city and I find it stifling because there are so many people, so much noise and not enough nature. WRONG! There are nature reserves near us and everything just hides during the day. At that time in the morning we have spotted owls, badgers, foxes, otters all living in the city. We chase the sunrise trying to get up the closest hill before it breaks. When I go back to work I want to get up early because those first moments of the day are so beautiful to share with my partner.

@@ubbdaubermensch1528 The fact that the pre-frontal cortex isn't fully developed until your twenties isn't a matter of talent or wisdom, it's the portion of the brain primarily responsible for logic and reasoning, especially in decision making. It has very little to nothing to do with talent or wisdom. I've met my fair share of wise children in my age, but their level of understanding isn't necessarily subject to the pre-frontal cortex. These facts have nothing to do with small mindedness, in fact saying that it's small minded is, in itself, small minded.

Hey Nathaniel! This is a 21yr old female. Since 3yrs I have been searching my worth on earth. I used to question myself मैं कोन हूँ? ( who am I ?), Why am I here... you know the kind of deep feeling you have when you are searching the meaning of your life. That one. Then I realized the purpose of me on earth is.. ( Secret). But the ' WHO' question still remained unanswered which is about my personality. I searched on Quora, watched videos, found some cources which says Personality Improvement tpis and tricks. Then I accidentally ( fortunately) saw ur video that says " If you want to be productive, if you want to improve your personality then change your habits". Its that easy. Now by doing little improvement everyday, even 1% , I know, I will find a whole new version of myself in coming yrs. Really thankuuu for helping us. I am grateful.

Beautiful and super interesting video. A current trend for a lot of youth is being told that we’re not moving fast enough or doing well enough. We need to schedule and plan things out better to become more efficient. There’s not much talk about how important it is to stop and just be. Just breathe. Because that’s not considered productive in our society. It benefits no one but you. It’s essential, though. Stopping and doing nothing is what prevents us from overwork and stress. In many cases it’s also essential for creativity without burnout. The work we do now would have rewarded us way more free time and choice in the past than it does today, leading a lot of us to think that we’re not doing enough. The issue isn’t us, but I hope anyone reading this will remember to incorporate stillness (without guilt) into their lives as well as the tips in this video. Balance in all things is key. Take care of yourselves and remember that you’re human. Take your time and remember that it’s okay and important to not be constantly productive.

humanityandme yes! I felt more together at 16 because I knew less of the world. Don’t you worry. You’re learning more of the world and it’s altering your perspective on things that before you considered ‘sorted out’, you’re growing. At some point in the near future you will be even stronger than you were at 19/20. This pattern will repeat again and again.

UA-cam is definitely inside my head. As I write this comment I am lying in my bed thinking about how I can change myself to be my best version. I have been trying for years to let go of my bad habits (procrastinating and just taking life for granted). Till now I have kind of gotten away with being lazy and not putting actions into my words but I will soon be turning 20 and I can’t in no way let my 20s begin and end with me just floating through it without making major changes and reaching my goals. But I can’t build myself to bring about those changes in my life that will help me succeed. I keep going back to my comfort zone and just being a lazy ass. I can’t stop myself from taking my time for granted. I take one step forward and two steps back.
But now that I have watched this video I feel like I am not alone in this race towards my goals. There are other people out there and you are making a change and you may never read this but you have inspired me to keep going forward. I don’t want to fail again. Not this time.

Decided to go through a major shift last year in my life and got rid of my bad habits first ; quit drinking and coffee cold turkey .. Replaced them with green tea .. Quit wasting time at night and going to bed late .. Then I implemented good habits ; started doing intermittent fasting ( Been doing the 16/8 intermittent fasting) , started going to the gym every day except Sunday , started getting up at 5.30 am each day and meditating in the morning .. Started eating in , all homemade food , lots of veggies and salads .. Started finishing a book a week ( Just finished Why We Sleep By Matthew Walker ) All these changes happened last year within a very short period of time , it feels surreal really , I can’t even believe it sometimes and what I have become compare me a year ago but I feel like I am sitting on top of the world guys ..! Amazing things happen in life when you focus on what you can change and control ... Love to you all .. 💙💙

Nathaniel Drew I can’t tell you how thankful I am to have seen and come across your video. As I to feel a lot like you without a way to express. Emotional damage drug abuse and violence. I’ll change me and molded me into what I am become. At least this is what I had thought for the longest time. Seeing people on UA-cam through impact theory through Tony Robbins through you. Let me know that there is a way for me still. I am 33 years old about to be 34 and I only expresses to you because I feel like I was trapped, put in a bubble and left to live a zombie existing life. Being a father A four and a husband. to wake up one day and realize somethings been missing this whole time. Now I’m in emotional wreck midlife crisis looking to rediscover who I am. And I only realize this because I saw how I discipline my kids and how I what is affecting them.... emotionally. And I don’t want the same cycle I was raised in for them. so I started to start channel to put the pressure on myself because I’ve never put that type of pressure on mysef in my entire like. This is why I don’t know who I am. And started my journey as well. Thx for sharing

After watching i actually felt like i knew myself more bc i identify a lot with you, the language learning, the bullet journal, search for productivity and new skills, and when you said you're 21 it surprised me so much, i thought you we're just a few years older than me but we're the same age and made me realize I could also aspire to your level of quality in whatever you do, o quien sabe capaz es algo de ser yankee en Latinoamérica que nos hace tener una visión mas amplia del mundo either way you're an inspiration and guide thank you so much!

It’s important to learn to enjoy every age and not be in a hurry to grow up. If u see everything and try to become perfect in a mad rush by 30 what are u going to do when are 40? Every age is special and must be enjoyed. Even the mistakes we make shape us into who we are.
