I drive big truck and I appreciate the in-depth knowledge you share with each video. Stay safe.
My rig is big too, darlin! Haha
Thanks for watching, all the same rules apply. I guess except for tire changes..take more than a $50 bottle jack in your case
Awesome video. 🙂🙂
You're a doll
Tool time with Tim!
Lol
Or Natalie
Yup
Ouch that hurts
Some like it lmao
Have you used aftermarket tire pressure monitoring systems on your trailer tires?
No
I'm not that fancy yet
@@HotshotAdventures I hear ya. Me either. I much more prefer to gage check tires when they are cold-the old-fashioned way. I'm old school and really don't want to trust a sensor to tell me my tires are low.
Hey Natalie you look 👀 great driving a Ford n do you recommend a Ford for a hotshot trucking career
I've heard horror stories about all three. They are all going to eventually fail in one way or another
I consider myself very blessed to have no real issues and no repetitive issues.
Pick whichever I comfortable for you and that you get a good and reasonable deal on.
Recommend a good creeper?
🤣
I'm still waiting for one lol
One of the other Hot Shots that I follow recently lost a leaf spring bolt completely. He was able to get it replaced pretty quick while on the road. I have seen leaf spring bolts that are greaseable-I suggested these to him. Are they recommended for HD use such as Hot Shot trailers?
Definitely wet bolts at the center of your equalizer. They have smaller wet bolts for the leaf spring eyes as well, but I don't notice a difference.
That happens it's common. Need to check under your trailer at least once a week to catch things like that
@@HotshotAdventures Is it worth if if using standard (NON-wet) bolts to use grade 8 bolts? Would they hold up better?
That's an interesting idea. If you try it out let me know what your results were !
@@HotshotAdventures I've seen nylon and brass sleeves that the bolts go through.....as you know both are very soft. Not real sure why though. I know folks carry a lot of weight sometimes so I'm thinking the grade 8 (and I'm hearing about grade 10 now-never heard of grade 10 before......may be 8 or 10 would last longer.....
Do you know anyone looking for a driver. I have my class A cdl with updated DOT physical i live in golden valley Arizona and i dont have a truck or trailer just curious awesome videos and very informative
I'll post for you
Maintenance is key to success
Damn, woman, why are you hitting me 😂
And I always enjoy watching you work 😉
It won't hurt that much ! Come here I'll do it again
😁
@@HotshotAdventures 😂 I hit back, in fun ways 😋
She likes hitting blow the belt
Natalie l like your videos
Thank you!
It's the reality of being an owner operator. Can't always go to the shop to fix your equipment. Too expensive and will waste too much time waiting to get in. This is one of the big things that separates those who have what it takes to be an owner-op from the guys and gals who just need to keep their company driving job. (That and money management).

Alright beat me beautiful ready to make up yet. Very informative video thanks for pretty smile be safe out there.
Thank you! You too!
Natile you make me laugh every time I see your face
Hi Phillip
Thanks for stopping by
You are half crazy Natalie lol
Natile you need to find a man that likes trucking
Great video coming senes goes a long way just wondering do you try to carry marker lights and extra taillights
I carry electrical kit to splice a wire if I have to and spare lights for the trailer, although I've never had to use them.
