    Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Sad. Its a slow progression. Its like anything abusive or bad for you. It never starts out with a severe beating. It starts with words then a push, then a slap. So it becomes normal.

    Mr. Matera--you are wrong, Red West and several others did that after they were fired, but there is a video out there with the full telephone conversation that Elvis had with him after the book came out, and they mended fences. Red West had been with Elvis since high school, and he went with Elvis to Germany when he was drafted, and was there the whole time, along with LaMar Fike. Billy Smith is Elvis' first cousin and had been Elvis' confidant since he was a teen ager. These guys were constantly around Elvis, and lived with him at different points, so someone would have known about this woman. Elis could not keep a secret that was brought out many times with Mafia. this woman is full of crap, and the fact you are so defensive makes me realize you know it is a hoax. Until you produce solid proof, like DNA, then it isn't possible to believe, and not fair to Elvis and the other women he was dating and this woman canceling them out. Elvis never had any relationships more than 4 years. Billy Smith said that he had a vow that he wouldn't because of the common law rule. Priscilla was the only woman he gave his heart to, according to j. D. Sumner said he told him, and he was married 7 years. This woman has everything secret, would not reveal anything till after Elvis' death, did not tell him about Desiree and many facts do not add up from what she said (I checked some things out) and they were not as she said. She always stops short to anything that would be substantive evidence, so It is left to the reader to believe or not. I won't believe without proof. It appears as a hoax, as this happens to many celebrities when they die. Quite a few have made this claim, but have yet to prove anything that is true. This woman is a nutcase.

    Billy Smith, Elvis' cousin, said Elvis had only one child. He was with Elvis at that time, and Red west was with him constantly through this period, and he went to Germany with Elvis. Priscilla said Elvis couldn't keep a secret, and believe me Billy and Red West would have known. It is too funny, that everything is stopping short by not revealing anything as proof. How does she expect anyone to believe this.

    • @DaryMatera
      @DaryMatera 16 днів тому

      Yet you believe one of the oldest lies and self-delusions in the world. The claim by a sycophant hanger on that they, and only they, knew all. They didn't. It was a "secret" affair, and in his vastly public life Elvis cherished his few secrets. Red West eventually backstabbed Elvis via the slanderous book "Elvis What Happened." Great source.

    • @zucan100
      @zucan100 14 днів тому

      @@DaryMatera I think your book does make 'claims' but falls short in the proof department. I'm open minded mind you, and I'm not totally dismissive. It is very odd that someone like Linda who shared an open 4 year relationship with Elvis makes the claim Elvis struggled to go anywhere incognito. I'm guessing you tried to get proof, people on the record who would acknowledge certain things, maybe John O'Grady reference the name Desiree on the phone list. A copy of the phone list would have been great. In a world of hoaxes and elaborate scams, people are able to say things that make you believe one thing but are not actually truthful. The poem mysteriously can't go in the book. No copy of the money orders or dated envelopes, letters, phone records..... nothing!

    This is a bunch of skillfully put together facts and holding on to them until after he died. This is made up story. It is all made up crap. This does not fit in time frame of Elvis life, and it makes all the other girls he dated out of the picture. Elvis was out in Hollywood after he got famous by '55 mak8ng movies, and he had all his co-stars. This woman has a great imagination. Why no proof to the public? Anyone call tell a made up story.
