Thankyou for another great video! I saw a meme today. “The greatest form of wealth is the ability to wake up every morning and say: "I can do whatever I want today.” The cemetery for me is a constant reminder that geologically speaking we are only here for a few minutes and that no time should be wasted in a dead end relationship, a dead end job or in a dead end town. In 100 years from now nobody will know that we ever existed. Seize the moment!
Chiang Mai is my favorite city in Thailand. It's an old city over seven hundred years old but has all the facilities. Importantly, it's inexpensive compared to other tourist cities in Thailand.
They will never resolve the Smokey season unless they buy every farmer a green hydrogen soil rejuvenator but Asians are more stubborn then an old Italian so they will never change unless it’s a banned law

Health & Wealth to you Chris! Chiang Mai is on our list as we make our way into and around Thailand. I like to grab coffee and roll out to explore sometimes I will search things out, but mostly any antique market can guarantee I will walk in, art , Antiques.. The music and traditional dance at around 10 :00 spell binding. You know for this upcoming trip we had the opportunity to create daily intenararys yet skipped forward past that, and will only have set appointments for real estate tours. Exciting times. Appreciate the time you spend to work on You Tube, your growth is steady 😊. The highlights for me was the traditional music and dance, the shots of the bed breakfast, the bracelets, ( gotta get some when in Thailand) and the cute Corgi pup he took good sniff of you and decided you were a cool dude.
Love it! Yes, I have been to Chiang Mai and absolutely loved old town. In fact, I loved the temples so much that the dragons inspired my tattoo. I also like to get lost in the alley ways and when I was there I found a fantastic vegan restaurant/cafe hidden by a boutique hotel. I'm not vegan but man was that food good! Enjoy the spontaneous journey as I know you will....take care, Tami.
Always love your video. Last time when my husband and I traveled to Thailand, we didn't make detailed daily itinerary, we have explored a lot of local soi and vibe in Bangkok and Pattaya. Aloha from Montreal 😊
Years ago we used to go on tours, usually private, even so, we’d fly by places we’d like to spend more time. And others, we’d spend far too long in. Now it’s different. We’ve just arrived in Penang for 6 nights, are we going to move to a different hotel on the island? Are we going to Cameron Highlands? Or Ipoh? 🤷♀️ who knows You enjoy getting out of the comfort zone - being comfortable with being uncomfortable
Great video here. I love the vibe, seeing Old Town in Chiang Mai, and hearing more about your insights. I travel similarly to you. I was in BKK in June for one month. Just took things each day as to what I felt up to doing or not doing. Lost weight, toned up from walking and eating delicious foods. Came back to the States rejuvenated and ready to save up for the next trip. I appreciate you sharing your accommodations in your videos to give your views ideas about where to stay.
Aloha🌴 Your videos are a true source of inspiration for globetrotters and digital nomads. I have an idea for an exciting new topic that many of your viewers would be very interested in: How about creating a video on health insurance options for long-term travelers in Thailand? Many world travelers dream of spending extended periods in exotic countries like Thailand, but the question of healthcare coverage often remains a big concern. A video explaining the various health insurance options for long-term stays in Thailand would be incredibly valuable! You could showcase different insurance models, provide tips on managing costs, and perhaps even include experiences from other world travelers. This would not only be informative but also perfectly align with your channel, which supports travel enthusiasts on their adventures. What do you think? Wouldn't this be a fantastic topic for one of your next videos? Your expertise would be invaluable for anyone looking to spend an extended time in Thailand! Looking forward to your next content! Mahalo! 🌺

Hi Chris, quick question about food poisoning and problems with stomach issues when you eat the food on your travels. How often have you had stomach pains and food poisoning and is there more of a problem in some countries or types of vendor (street food for example) than others? They say don't drink the local water, but it's often not possible as vegetables & fruits are often washed in it, then there's ice used in drinks - any thoughts there too? Thanks :)
Great question I have had issues with adding too Much red pepper spice to my food but not food poison There is a cheap medication here in Asia called black carbon pills People buy them and travel with them I have some just in case

The way I would put it is that you are and have lived the, for most people desired, parabolic life, you start out as a kid with mostly no responsibility and a lot of fun and freedom and as you grow older you take on more and more responsibilities of the like of a job, house, marriage, children, and, ideally these should taper off towards retirement not withstanding any " surprises" like divorce and tragedy. Most people struggle to untangle themselves from that "Western consumerism trap" keep on buying more and bigger, where you've come down the other side of that curve and untangled yourself from that and regained a lot of fun and freedom in the process. Once you found a way to be financially free you also free yourself from the pressures in your head, the merry go around of responsibilities for houses, cars, food on the table, money matters. The liberation of that allows the creative process to be restarted lost along the way when growing up, not everyone can do it, but once attained it becomes your ultimate freedom, I love your insights and hope you inspire many people along the journey to never give up on that and do it much earlier than anticipated by way of your example 😊
