The cabin looks a lot better stained. A lot more pleasing and a lot more expensive.

Unfortunately might have to put small fence up, wild life can be vicious to house pets.

Finishing the staining or any painting job is always a blast as you know it won't have to be done for years till next time. Well done. What does Bear taste like.? How do you normally cook it? Do you make winter clothing from the outer covering. Not sure if I was to call it skin or hide.

Will u be staining the inside logs or just put a clear coat on them? I think u should clear coat it to protect the wood!! 😊
I know it would be a pain but I would do at least two coats of stain on that cabin. We put two on our logs, also clear coated the inside with two coats.

My dashounds all chase mice and get them finished all the time when they are outside….better than a cat…lol…we have been mouse free for years.😊
USE SALT around the perimeter of cabin… will kill ALL WEEDS!!
