  • Join me on an unforgettable adventure to the stunning Lake District as I embark on a two-night wild camping trip. Starting from Mardale Head, I hike my way up to Small Water where I set up camp for the first night. After scouting the area, I find the perfect spot by the Tarn and settle in for the night, enjoying the peaceful sound of nature.
On the first day, I indulge in my passion for fly fishing and manage to catch a beautiful wild Brown Trout, which I release back into the water. Using my Mavic mini drone, I capture breathtaking aerial footage of the stunning landscape, including Haweswater, Small Water, and other scenic features such as waterfalls, streams, and mountains.
After a restful night's sleep, I wake up to a serene and peaceful fog, which creates a magical atmosphere. Despite the wet and windy conditions, I set off to hike up to High Street, reaching the peak at around 820m above sea level. Along the way, I get drenched in rain but still manage to find a peaceful and sheltered spot in a forest by Haweswater for my second night's camping.
Despite the heavy rain, I manage to start a fire and cook dinner using my stove, enjoying the warmth and comfort of the flames. After a restful night's sleep, I wake up to the sound of the falling rain and begin my journey back to the car, hiking through the roaring streams and rivers.
Join me on this incredible journey, filled with stunning scenery, fly fishing, camping, and unforgettable memories. I hope to share more adventures with you in the near future.
    Keep adventuring,
    Eze

Hi Paul! Thanks for your comment.
Yes that was a fire, it was done in a section that had been camped on and used as a fire-pit many times before. You are absolutely right, there should be no fire at all in this area and I would never start a fire or damage any areas. I figured since the fire-pit was there, I could attempt to get one going to gain some heat and try to dry out my stuff without causing any additional damage. However, nature had other plans and it poured on so was unable to do so - karma!
I realise how fragile these environments are which is why I never take any fish, I try to pick up as much rubbish as possible and now will tighten down my fire policy even further - to ensure it remains as pristine as we find it today.
Thanks for your thoughts, and hope you consider subscribing to follow more adventures,
      Much love,
      Eze

Hey buddy! This was close to Haweswater, you need a government rod license for the day to fish! See you on the next one and thanks for watching. All the best, Eze.

I really enjoyed this video but you lost me when you lit the fire, its not something that I think is right but each to their own. They leave a trace which goes against the spirit of wild camping. Apart from that, a great video, thanks for sharing.

Hi Mark! You are absolutely right and in hindsight, this isn't something I'd repeat. At the time, there was a fireplace already there and the midges were so bad that I wanted to get some relief. However, I'm using gas stoves now for those situations. Glad you liked the video and keep on adventuring brother!

@@EzeAdventurer No worries, midges can be terrible, I completely understand. What I do is carry a couple of incense sticks and place them around my camp. I find they work pretty well. Citronella work the best for me. 👍

Hola Eze. Love your trips. Am also addicted to Argentina, especially 🤩Patagonia..🏕. and have been going there every Winter since 2016,, ( except in Covid time). I live on the edge of The Lakes but always choose to go North of the Border or over to Northumberland...😉😁...llama_ladee_anny.
