    Its so fucking wonderful when somebody creates something that reinforces their own ability to create all the while spreading it with the world. Your enthusiasm is infectious will have to make the jump to 12 after this I think. Thanks!

    Thanks for sharing this. I was really excited for Ableton's implementation of this then kind of meh when I started using their tools and I purchased your devices a few days ago and seeing this video has me really excited. If/when all this stuff can get midi mapped will blow minds. Thank you again.

      Thanks! I don't envy Ableton's challenge of having to make a toolset that works for both the Aphex Twin heads and the singer-songwriters. That's the beauty of Max for Live - we can have smaller projects built for specific use cases and communities.

    I mostly work generatively in Ableton, so this is mind blowing. An interesting evolution of these tools would be the ability to modulate them in real time. Just the ability to change the divisions 'live' over a set of selected phrases would be incredible. And as another commenter mentioned if that could mapped to a midi controller - good times. Gonna scoop these up and experiment. Thank you for the amazing work.

      thanks! yes many people are asking about mappability and modulatability...so maybe we'll get that someday

    Love it. Would love to see how you use the tools with an Ableton stock synth, e.g. mapping things to velocity in the synth and then using your tools

    Thanks for the tools and the videos. So many possibilities! I’m curious though, your menu drop-down has more Transform tools, are these all others being developed by yourself or from other creators?

    if/when Ableton adds MPE note pitchblende, would love a way to pitch drums.

    • @p__meyer
      @p__meyer  4 місяці тому +2

      veryyyy much agree, then you can do pitch ramps for drums like on a tracker!

    It would be great if you could automate the parameters of miditools. Let’s hope that this will be possible in a future update of Live 🤞

  • @thomas854
    @thomas854 4 місяці тому +1

    Awesome stuff! I'm afraid you can't map the parameters to a midi controller, right? I hope Ableton will provide this functionality soon, this would open up soo much more intuitive control, like changing multiple parameters at once

    Hey, I bought some of your tools-good stuff! :)
    I would like to create some of my own random rhythm generation patches for personal use, not sharing online-can I start by editing your ones? Is that "allowed"?
    Also, would you consider creating a "minimal" tutorial on how to connect MIDI generation tools with JS inside M4L? (I am a professional coder, so I can write what I want in scripts, but M4L patching and graphs intimidate me...)

    • @p__meyer
      @p__meyer  4 місяці тому +1

      Thanks, and thanks for asking! yes, as long as they are for personal use only.
      I will do a tutorial on the JS piece - if you'd like, I can send you a template to get started in JS, as long as you give me your feedback on it so that I can make it better. The best place to find me is on Discord bit.ly/rhizomic
