Swap the front with some upgraded 6x9’s like they came from factory and it will be noticeably better. What I think is happening is you replaced the biggest speaker with a much smaller one when you needed the same size. I installed a sound system in my 2005 Corolla and even when it had no sub or amp it was still a drastic improvement. Hope this helps
Thank you! That makes a lot of sense, I shouldn't have blindly went for one of the recommended speakers shown to me on the crutchfield website as the vast majority of the results were 6.5in speakers. I'll try again with some 6x9s in there!
Creo que las puertas no ayudan en cuanto a sonido por eso es que no se nota la calidad como en los corollas esos mismos altavoces los instalas en el corolla y los del corolla los instalas en la tundra y tendrás el mismo resultado, se oirán bien en el corolla mientras que en la tundra no notarás diferencia.... aunque sin dudas la mejora del lo que había a cómo quedó ahora es notable, saludos Will 👍👍👍.
Aftermarket speakers are designed to be used with subwoofers. You replace a 6x9 door speakers with a 6.5. You lost cone area which means you lost bass.
Have you ever added an amplifier since this video I just changed out my speakers on my 2007 tundra and I feel the same less bass not much better sound, think I might be adding an amp is wondering if you did and it made a difference nice video
I haven't given them nearly enough run time to wear in yet but even afterwards since my new speakers are smaller they'll feel weaker. I should try again with 6x9s in the front doors like stock size.
@@WillChang I put new Sony speakers in my Corolla, initially it sounded eh but after blasting enough music I reckon they sound heaps better than when they were new :) Or it's just me idk
For sure! I think a subwoofer would be necessary with this setup because the new speakers in the front are smaller than what I took out, so naturally they sound weaker.

Thanks man! Definitely liking the head unit, I recommend using it with the pioneer app as it makes changing the settings and stuff much easier!
