- A quick demo of replacing filter will solve the blockage light flashing & dyson on-and-off finally power cut issue, though no sigh of filter light at all. The investigation procedure could be applied to a TRUE deep cleaning of the cyclone part as well, simple dissemble is required and straightforward.

This was brilliant!! I purchased my V10 2018 and regularly cleaned the filter but had the blinking clog icon. I bought the replacement filters on Amazon and my vacuum works, again. Thank you so much.
Dude, this actually fixed my barely working V10, even though the old filter had been cleaned. Thanks for sharing.
Just replaced the filter and the problem solved immediately. Can't thank you enough.
This fixed mine too! Thank you for recommending this. It still shows the filter light on but it's probably because I bought an after market filter. Works great though!
Last thing I wouls have thought of! Gonna order a filter and try it out!
Well done. Thank you for your help.
To get back to my original comment, got a new off-brand filter and it worked again. Even has more suction power, you just can feel it. It really clambs down to the ground when using it.
When comparing the filters, the old one went in real easy, while the new one was a bit stiff. As well as the rubber ring on the new filter looked a lot better then (only 1 year) old filter.
So that was the fix for me! Thanks again!
*Edit: Got a three pack of filters for like €20,- through a local webshop, so I'm set for a few years
worked for me, thanks
Hi will you put out the comparison video for the official vs OEM filter ? I'd love to see it and learn if the OEM one gives out worse quality exhaust after filtering or if it damages the machine... I noticed for the one i bought from taobao that water runs out from the bottom as soon as it is filled, but the official one doesn't leak from the bottom.
Did you ever do a video on comparing original Dyson filters with compatible ones?
Really glad you showed the issue before showing the solution. While your machine had this issue, did the suction stop? Also did you find any difference in the original filter vs the 3rd party filter? Thank you.

Appreciated! Greetings from Italy
