You should switch the shorter positive wire to the battery side, you want the circuit breaker wire as short as possible to the positive battery terminal 🤙🏽.

Awesome man...I have the same one on my taco... except I was able to use the included add a fuse. I drilled a small hole on the side and it's been dust free so far. Great share of a great product. I was able to match the backlight to the rest of my interior. I like that I can make any lights strobe.

What is the add a fuse for? Is that what kicks on the panel on truck power?
@@matbrown160 yes it powers the switch panel that goes inside the vehicle.
Thank you for posting this video - it really helped me with my install. It was my first time installing a switch box, making a hole and passing wires through the firewall, and hiding wires neatly behind the panels etc. I also love your idea of tapping a fuse inside the cockpit, which I did as well.
Question: Did you end up covering the fusebox in the cab afterwards? Keep dust and dirt out, and maybe help prevent the add-a-fuse from falling out?
And what is your long term (I think you posted this video a year ago) review of the Auxbeam hardware?

Do you recommend the fuse box mount? Cuz I can’t find anywhere to place mine and this idea might just be it
I'm having an issue with the LED panel not turning off even when vehicle is off. Double and triple checked my wiring and even had an accessory light controlled by the panel. No other lighting or connection issues to trace. LED panel stays lit. Any ideas?
What size bolt fits the factory hole for mounting the bracket?
I have had this one for about a year so far so good no issues.

I’m sure but you’ll be wasting two switches on the auxbeam since u need one for front and one for rear heres the video on the anytime I made u can check ua-cam.com/video/MKRI-hDZQZY/v-deo.html
If you have all your lights on and then you turn off your vehicle and the you turn the vehicle back on the lights will be on even you haven't press the on button in the switch panel

I have 2 questions. Fist, how did you connect your ditch lights to turn both on at the same time? Did you twist both cables together to one? And did you put a higher amp fuse? Say each ditch light uses a 5 amp and you connect them together and put a 10amp fuse? Second, do you know if you can change the fuses on the Auxbeam to put a higher or lower input. For exmaple if I want to put a light bar that uses a 30 amp fuse into a 5amp fuse just by switching the fuses, will it work as long as you use the correct fuse? I know it was more than 2 questions 😂 but if just want to know how you wired them.
Wire both ditch lights to same one, so yes twist them together. One of the 10 amp slots should be more than enough for ditch lights.

Bro I’m going to connect my aux beam switch panel just like this one but we’re do I connect the acc too? I have a Chevy avalanche 2010
You’d have to get a tester and test which is the acc fuse I would not know on that one 😅 just have to test each fuse

There should be one there already from factory that is unused
I didn’t end up buying a bolt I had it laying in the garage I tried a whole bunch that I had until one fit 😬 so I’m not sure if the size to be honest I’m sorry
Where did you mount the circuit breaker? I didn’t see it.
On the side of the fuse box closest to the cab side I used the same 3m double sided sticky tape that I used on the switch panel
Does anyone have an FJ cruiser? There does not seam to be a fuse to tape into under the hood which would make this so much easier than having to run a fuse tap all the way to my interior fuse box. Just wondering if anyone installed this on an JF and where you tapped into? Also I take it any fuse with the words fuel injection should be avoided, yes?
I’d highly recommend running it to ur inside fuse box
And yes if I was you and ur unsure id recommend checking your Manuel so u don’t tap into anything vile like that
can you still remove the fuse box cover with the auxbeam mount sitting right above it?
Yes because it’s moved to the side it’s a tight fit but yes u can always use self tapping screws and drill it further away

I need some help!! I try installing this today after watching many UA-cam videos about the RGB 8 switch panel, man no matter what i did every time I have this connected to my battery my car wont start, if like the battery die or something. I thought I have the wires installed wrong, changed the wires and same problem. I did however got the panel to light up the first try but when I press the starter on my truck it wouldn't start. Anybody have an idea what's going on? also none of this videos tell you that if you install the add a fuse inside the cabin your fuse cover wont fit anymore, even with mini add a fuse wire. Please help!!!!

And have you checked the battery terminal sometimes a slightly loose connection will cause that,
If not disconnect the auxbeam try and start it and if not check all your fuses u may have touched wires and popped a fuse
Did u disconnect the battery before even attempting this?
And yea the cover won’t go back on Toyota never intended for someone to add a add a fuse so just save the cover
Thank you @@JesseRizo I tried again the next morning and for some reason it worked, however it did stop working again, so i disconnected it and connected back again so far its working but do you think it can be a low battery? does this sucks lots of power from the battery? with all these mods what should i upgrade the battery? do you have any battery you recommend? I'm looking at the Optima yellow top battery
