One of MJ’s most underrated games. He almost had a 40 point quadruple double! And so many spectacular highlights in one game. Just awesome
Rip reggie lewis
Fundamentally Reggie was really solid and this is coming from someone who idols Jordan , it would’ve been interesting to see where his potential would have led him , Reggie and Len bias are always gonna be the big what if’s for the Celtics
Reggie Lewis Averaged 17pts 4rbds 3 assts for his 7 year career. You call that well rounded? Reggie is over rated with too much I wish it was what it wasn't. The Bulls had a winning record against the Celtics in the 7 years he was in the league.
Mj had a couple of sick dishes this game.
One of the best Air Jordan shoe years.
You see the real GOAT in the making here, offense and defense.
Reggie lewis is cold bro
Yes Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time!
Chris Drake that's a fact bro
Definitely Michael Jordan will be often imitated (Kobe Bryant) but never duplicated!
Shidd, That's not a serious debate.
that is only your opinion.
The Best There Was, The Best There Is, And The Best There Ever Will Be !!!
Michael Jeffery Jordan
KAREEM is the best ever. Dont @ me. ✋😔
@@theloverswineverytime1625 LOLZ
@@AHMAD-2324 do you like being wrong? Because you are always wrong. MJ dominated in a league without hand-checking. Wilt would dominate if you couldn't touch him
The GOAT
Why are you mentioning Lebron? He was't in this game.
fjvideo how about this fuck you and LECHOKE
An that's a FACT!!!
thats egotistical of you mike
Rest in paradise Reggie Lewis. He was a team player and a solid player.
Those half-court flings that we saw from Jordan at 4:50 is one of the reasons why his 3 pt FG% isn't as high as it could have been. Players today rarely fling it from half-court, especially during the regular season (they are too concern about their shooting percentage). Players in the 80s and early 90s flung it from half-court all the time.
rex waller well they could afford to do it back then. They didn’t shoot as many threes. Guys like Harden are shooting 20+ threes in some games. Meanwhile MJ probably averaged less than 2 per game for his entire career. Shooting so few 3’s you can afford to fling it up.
@@getitworkalot8096 What? When you shoot 10+ threes per game, a single low percentage shot every couple of games will have an insignificant effect on your percentage. Its when you take 2 or 3 3p shots per game that your percentage will suffer greatly when one of 'em is a guarranteed miss.
MJ, and the rest of those guys where taking the shots because thats what you are supposed to do if you are balling. There is time on the clock, you take the god damn shot. Modern players worry more about bussiness decisions and less about basketball.
mskidi it’s really not an issue. Shooting the ball beyond half court for a couple of seconds doesn’t impact the game at all. I think we’re being petty. I mean players like Steph, Lillard and Harden shoot from half court every night. I’ll also say players like Harden and Russ don’t care about their shooting percentages.
jocriss they cared about percentages then as well. That’s why they didn’t shoot as many 3’s. It was the coach’s system. Take smart, “high percentage shots.” Those shots were dunks. As great as a shooter as Larry Bird was he didn’t shoot nearly as many 3’s during his error. If he was allowed to shoot like Harden (he doesn’t care about percentages) he would have been averaging 30+ at least 5 times during his career. They said MJ couldn’t shoot but he rarely averaged more than 1 three per game during his career. The 3 years he averaged over 3 attempts he shot at least 37%. He just didn’t take those low percentage shots or even the big men. I’m pretty sure Ewing, Hakeem and DRobinson could have hit threes if they were allowed. It was about making smart shots. I don’t really have an issue either way because during that period MJ and his peers were really efficient and I feel now a days guys are efficient as well because of the older era. Of course you’ll have your Westbrook’s but every era needs a Westbrook.
jocriss yea that’s what I’m saying
"The almost" quadruple double game for Jordan
Ty, Phil and Scottie. Your work ethic and sacrifice paid off. The three of you could raise a dinasty that will stay in the books forever!
It's insane Hubie Brown is still calling games.
If my homeboy Reggie Lewis would have still been here him in Len Bias would have gave Michael Jordan some trouble in the 90s if you know anything about basketball you know they are facts stand up Maryland staying up Baltimore
Reggie Lewis was alive during the Bulls' first 3-peat. The Celtics with Bird, McHale & Parrish still active, finished first in their division more than once in the early 90's , they couldn't get out of first and second round even with home-court advantage. Len Bias would have been good enough to help save the Celtics from embarrassment in the first round but he would have made all their play-off exits even more disappointing.
@@junheeho6311 I strongly disagree, It would have spaced the Celtics incredibly having 2 young budding all stars. Who would you double? Bird, Bias, Lewis or McHale? Celtics would dominate.
Rest In Peace To The Late Great Basketball Player Reggie Lewis

Jordan's the goat
Without question Art in motion

I’m impressed by Cartwright here..
Excuse me. 😒
1 lebron fan so far I see!
6'7 vs 6'6...big difference...
I know some people might disagree with me but if lewis and len bias did not pass away there was no way jordan and pipen was beating this celtic team no way he gets 6 rings lewis brought the best oit of him cause he was balling on drugs and really doing his thing out there so i give credit where its due
lol.......

What happened to Bird?
Bird had a back injury
@@philipottey7723 wrong bud...Bird only played the first 6 games of the 1988-89 season. I believe he had some kind of surgery related to his feet. Bone spurs maybe... I'm not sure, but it wasn't back related.
Bill Cartwright was not good.
Cartwright's bum ass cost MJ three dimes.
Reggie Lewis over MJ, ANY M.F.N. DAY. Don't @ me. ✋😔
FACT: from 1988-93, MJ and Reggie faced each other 22x, in which MJ was 16-8 vs him.
He scored a total of 775 pts on 311-555 FGAs vs Lewis, giving him a 35ppg on 56.1 FG% avg vs him in those head-2-head battles.
So in the words of Xzibit: "Bitch Please...."

Obviously the 22x was a typo.
And I'm surprised that your OBVIOUSLY SMALL brain capacity, even allowed you to catch that error.
