I just received this and for the price point it’s a great tool set for people in this hobby new or experienced. Especially the fact that it’s keeps tools organized and portable. I would highly recommend this kit.
I 100% agree. This tool kit is very useful and portable. You can't go wrong with the price point. I took it with me to the GBWC competition, and I'm glad i did since someone needed help correcting a problem on their entry prior to judging.
This product looks great! Although im not a fan of the style Glass file provided also, it's definitely a must buy for starters at that price point for sure 🔥 Seems as though it wont disappoint. Hope to see it put to the test i may have to snag one up myself i've misplaced a few tools unfortunately 😅, nice review!
I'm after the glass file, nipper, and the part separator. As far as tools go, I'm a believer of technique over tools, but that doesn't mean good tools don't help the build. I may just get this one.
And it's super affordable. I also believe in Technique over Tools. This tool kit was made for all levels of skill. I carry it to every build day or builder get-together since it's so portable. I never liked carrying around my GH lol.
The scissors gotta be for cutting decals and the like, what else would you use them for? Overall I like the kit, but I have most of the tools; looking for a kit to buy a friend to get started with. Sadly they've went up in price since posting this video. Subscribed, love the content, keep it up~
Thank you for your comment!! I started using the scissors for just that, lol. I have no clue for what else it could be used for. I still use this kit. It is very unfortunate that the price has gone up. Being as its one of the best beginner tool kits. I also reviewed the hobby mio one.
Hmm tough one. If i am honest. The dspiae does bring a lot more for the money. And the cuality of tools is there. Especially if you are a traveling builder. The hobby mio is made more for static builders or beginners since it doesn't overwhelm you with a bunch of tools that you might not need at the time. It all boils down to preference. I use both nippers and other toold from these 2 kits.
As someone who has both. I'd say that the 3.0 compares more to the GH120. This one compares to the entry GH siingle Blade. However, I've been using it, and the cuts are very clean.
The raser toolbox is not a toolbox per se. It only brings, the raser 1.5, a balancer and the cloth. However, you can take out the padding on the insode and use it to store your tools for travel which is what i was doing before i got the DSPIAE.
Undoubtedly undisputed the best plastic hobby tool kit set.
Ngl. The price point is hard to beat. And I've been using the tools for a while without issues.

Got this one for free in a local hobby store event, I am really happy....
Thats awesome!

I will be using it in future builds to test durability and performance

How does the St-c nipper compare to a 3.0??

Looks good! Where did you get the raser toolbox by the way?
