@florymodels the parts detacher is not for removing parts frim the sprue, it is used to separate parts that have been snapped together like bandai snap fit kits eg. Gubdam/ Starwars. You assemble the kit then use the separater to disassemble the kit to prep for painting.
Fantastic review I love DSPIAE. What fascinates me is the amount of keyboard warriors bleeting their bullshit like sheep claiming their expertise. The fact that they moan yet they watch a whole video and then take time to write a bullshit comment really makes me laugh . The bleeting wanna be expert keyboard warriors just stop watching nobody is making you .
A couple of years ago I paid well north of £30 for my first pair of DSPIAE cutters but I got this starter set for £24 direct from China so I kind of expected the nippers to be a budget edition. Altogether I think it is great value for money, possibly not for a true starter set but for a starter DSPIAE collection and you do get a nice box :).
Do people really cut right up to the part with the nippers? I always go material safe, then trim it down to size with a blade. This kit is really nice, though. If it were available in the states I would prolly get one.
Hey can you explain why it recommends to snip the gunpla piece in 2 or 3 cuts? I don't understand how that helps if you'll end up cutting off the nub in the end. Also I think the part separator is not for the runners but for disassembly of parts you already put together
It recommends doing it that way to keep the colored plastic from being stressed and turning white from said stress, at the same time if it can't get any more of the gate, you can use a gate remover like Gunprimers Razer to finish flushing and smoothing the plastic to make it look like there never was a gate. (A Gate is the bit of plastic the attaches the part to the Sprue on the Runner.)
Because you generally do not paint gunpla you do not want white stress marks on cut points. The way two step cutting is supposed to be done is that you should use your cheap nippers to cut the part out few millimeters away from the part and then use high quality nippers to carefully remove the remaining buds. Doing two step cut with cheap nippers does seem a bit pointless.
That’s a part separator. Not a starter knife!?!?! What are you thinking. And the knife you just unscrew a little bit and pull the knife out. What the heck are you doing!!!! I have never seen anyone Who didn’t know how to use the tools from dspiea. Yes that’s a panel liner. Have you not seen how people use panel liners like that. You are seriously freaking me out right now. This set is made for gundam builders. That’s who use dspiea. You are obviously not one. You’ve never used a gunprimer sander have you. Wow. This set is not made for you. I’ve never watch led someone who was so clueless with dspiea tools. And your a good builder. But not gunpla.

Thanks Adrian, Never seen them before. Thanks for the info :O)
I thought I was learning a new way to use the part seperator lol @@florymodels
Parts betacher is for Gundam kits to taker parts off when it's been built
Exactly! They're used to pry apart snap fit kits when you need to disassemble them for something.
This guy is clueless. It’s bothering me to watch.
Thanks Peter, Never seen them before, every days a school day!! :O)
That's easy, don't watch, Sorry but never seen them before as never build snap tight kits.

It is available in the states. Newtype has it. At least they did. I do t know if it’s still in stock.
That retractable tool you called a Stiletto Knife, that's a part separator not a knife, lol.

Thanks to both of you for the detailed explanations
Products are WAY OVER PRICED, for what you get.
This set is focused on GunPla building it is pretty universal though.
First time I’ve seen a parts detacher used this way… but it’s actually a good idea
Can the knife handle be used for scribing chisels? Cause the chisel holder they have looks just the same

You seem quite the expert, I look forward to your professional review😑
Apologies, Don't build gunpla and snap tight kits so wouldn't have come across these before.
Boy, aren't you a ray of sunshine 🙄Don't like the video, don't watch it. It's really not that hard to just move on if something doesn't interest you.
