Just after the 43 minute mark, Eli makes a very important distinction regarding Jewish belief, one, that if all other religions..if they too believed likewise, it would have prevented so much negativity, hatred and senseless killing in the world throughout civilization.

01:13:00 I had forgotten about that, shaman omar reminded me of it ❤️🙏🧿 I was kicked out of religious school when I was in my teens for asking on a regular basis exactly what Shaman Omar asked.
In my mind, I was like, if this book has all the best and correct answers to life, then at what point exactly does the soul enter the body????
They got angry because there was NO answer to that question in the book.

It's actually a widely discussed topic in the talmud. The answer I believe is 40 days after conception

@@powerjews There are other interpretations from actual conception to 40 days after the heart starts beating, with in the Jewish religion and other religions.. If one needs to interpret such an important answer then I conclude that the book is not from God but Man. And man is flawed.

@@1Humanoid lol that's really going to discredit that the torah for you? you are better than that, Judaism is no cult, get to the truth and keep asking questions, you will be amazed what you find.
Talmud Sanhedrin (91b) is that the fetus is given a soul immediately upon conception. Yet elsewhere the Talmud states that the soul enters the body on the 40th day from conception (Menachot 99b).
This discrepancy is based on the fact that there are multiple levels to the human soul. The lowest is the life-force humans share with the animal kingdom, and this enters a person at conception. However, the Godly soul, the spark of life which sets mankind apart from the animals, enters only on the 40th day from conception.

Rule of thumb about idol worship is: There are entities and powers in the world but they are not independent, everything is sourced to Hashem. Hashem is the God of all Gods, the power of all powers. So as long as someone knows in his heart, that there's is ultimately ONE power that controls everything, ONE source and energy of everything, one energy which is Hashem, then that person is only worshipping God.

One correction: You said that Jews took it upon themselves to be chosen, and to spread the name of God. Not quite, God rather chose us, which is why we took it upon ourselves to spread the name of God. Its a big differences. Don't shy away from it. אתה בחרתנו מכל העמים אהבת אותנו ורצית בנו
