My roomate decided to put handsoap in our high efficiency washing machine 🤦🏽♀️ and now it stops and oversuds everytime! I hope this works because otherwise its trips to the laundromat for us 🙏🏼

Wow! it worked! I have an LG HE and it never did this before. This is the 3rd time and I had to run like 4-5 cycles without any additional soap just to get rid of the studs! This is crazy. I am so glad I found this video but why? What causes this to happen?

Did you run an extra cycle? Also where did you put the fabric softener and water…in the detergent spot?
Thanks. This is not necessarily the cause of the excessive amount of powder. At my place, when Mom threw in kitchen towels, which from wiping the dishes were from washing liquid, there was a lot of foam. The same can be with towels as you don't rinse your hands well, you just wipe the soap on the towel.
In testing laboratory does softener harm the test samples? pls advise.

Can I use this same method on a Samsung washer?
Tried distilled vinegar which didn’t work, then added the fabric conditioner- instant result. Now I have a weird concoction of laundry liquid, vinegar and fabric conditioner- thank god there’s only bath mats in there !
