The park looks very crowded! In fact all the places seem packed but it is that time of the year when everyone heads to the south coast.
Yes Christmas and school holidays you need to book to guarantee a spot. I do a stealth camp if I can't get into a caravan park

Gee, it's been a along long time since we stayed at that van park in Walpole. Beautiful spot. Seeing it again makes me want to take the boat down there and try a bit of fishing :) Used to be able to camp at Cosy Corner West until they moved everything to the East site. Torbay Inlet is nice but gets packed out very easily. Not far from Cosy Corner is Shelley Beach (national park) which has to be about the most spectacular campsite anywhere on the coast. Never camped there but visited many times.

@@peterhewitson71 i see me im thinking on doing both i perchtested Reddington Path fly saltwarter rod combo and Reddington Path 2 fresh warter fly rod combo ther salt warter one is a 9foot 8wt and my freash water 1 is a 9ft 6wt

HI this is early January, had some hot weather in December then it cooled off , you can never pick it down south
