We were two adults with no kids or dogs (or social media commitments) and travel fatigue is a thing (not that there's much sympathy from family and friends at home). Righto, you two listen up. I have just been forced to medically retired after 33 years of policing with chronic PTSD. I spent years fighting to stay at work no matter the cost. That cost is huge. Don’t put yourselves into a dry gully you can’t get out of. Right now my wife and I are also traveling full time. Mathematics tells us, you can do a video every 2 weeks and that will halve your stress. Please look after yourselves and hopefully we bump into you on the road.
You obviously didn't think the whole thing through...I think you're a bit selfish and didn't consider the impact on your children and now yourselves as a result... Why couldn't you just wait until they were older as well as stop breading before setting off?
I have subscribed to a large number of channels,and yours is by far the best. You are the family I wish I had. Take all the breaks you want, but please come back. 😊❤

Hi Elena & Nick, I think that is your biggest challenge while full time travelling, having no “me time” and date nights and general timeouts. I am so glad you had a wonderful time cruising and Elena’s parents looked after the boys. You have to look after yourselves first and foremost, don’t stress about putting a video out every week, as much as we love seeing them. I can’t get over happy little Ollie is all the time, such an adorable smile, love him and watching Finn & Lennox interact with each other is marvelous. We did videos with a dog and it was hard. We've got a kid now (let alone 3), and couldn't imagine how much harder it would be. Any content is appreciated. Not worth overdoing it at the expense your mental health. Good job guys
Thank you guys for your honesty about travelling life. We are a semi retired couple and we still find that some days on the road can be testing, so I can imagine with 3 active little boys you are constantly on the go. I'm new to your channel and have been enjoying flicking through your videos. We have got some great ideas for camping in the East (we are from the West) when we head there in 7 weeks time. Some great places around the midwest (where we are from) include Greenhead, Milligan Island, Knobby Head, Wedge Island, Grey and Lesueur National Park at Karda Campground. Enjoy the wind, it keeps the flies away!!

Take a month off every now and again and bank up a heap of edits. Come back and drip feed us the edits a month later. So youll always have a month headstart on us. Great to hear yous had a cruise together, might have to squeeze 4 car seats in July 2024 🤣🤣. Appreciate all the hard work guys.
Maybe a video once a fortnight. I guy I know loved camping but said making video at camp meant he had no time to enjoy camping so he jumped off You Tube altogether. Just keep adjusting until you find that sweet spot.

Hubby and I travelled for 18 months but we only had 2 kids and they were 7 and 9. It never occurred to us to put it on UA-cam, so kudos to you both for doing so. Filming and editing isn’t a quick and easy task.
Maybe just choose one day a week to film. One day and what it is is enough! That’s it . Other 6 days are family days. We all love watching your boys and your banter. Just make sure the one day you film is Elenyas cooking day!

Wow , we can totally understand how you both are feeling with all that you do and have done over the last year or so but we are so pleased that you are reinvigorated having had great downtime . Do whatever suits yourselves and we will come along for the ride whatever the circumstances . Don’t put yourselves under pressure just to suit your followers , we will follow you no matter what as we so enjoy your videos anyway .
Geesus guys that was a scary thumbnail but we do understand your deal as us being long term travelers over many years and WE didn't have to deal with three lovely but active young kids so we sort of understand the workload you face. Friday nights tea for us would never be the same but your happiness and mental health is more important than 30 minutes of the best entertainment on the box for us. Being avid camper/caravaners we have watched a lot of camping channels and there are many but for many months now yours is the only one that has our subscription. Whatever your decision we support it, from you know who.
You truly are a lovely family and let me say honestly, your happiness and wellbeing are the most important thing. If you need to step back/ease off a little, then don’t hesitate to do it as I and I’m sure your other followers would support you in that decision.

I can’t imagine doing what you’re doing with 3 little kids … we have a motor home and went for 5 weeks on our own and we loved it … unfortunately our little cat hates being in the motorhome when it’s going so we can’t take her with us … not even for a weekend, plus … after our little trip, hubby had a heart attack so now the MH is on the market. Wish we had done it a long time ago when we were younger. Hats off to you both for giving your kids such a unique experience and I wish you all the best … don’t get disheartened, you did the best thing you could have done, taking a leisurely cruise and chilling out. There’s obviously a whole lot of love in your truck and you two know how to keep it alive. Good on you 👏

Life with young kids is tough in the comfort of our home! Let alone on the road. The noise bounces off the walls...100% you guys are troopers. Hope you can find a way to have a season of rest...maybe you can get on a housesitting website and housesit for someone in Aus somewhere for a few weeks?
We have been part of your family for ages , excited at seeing a new episode , followed your informative journey and loved the kids participating in adventures. We noticed some time ago that you were jaded so the decision to take a break fits with all your viewers . You owe us nothing - but you owe yourself rest time . We are a nana and pop of 4 grand children from 9 weeks to 8 years across two families and know full well it takes a village to raise a family. You have 3 in one family in a caravan. That has to be the hardest time you. What a fantastic experience and memories you are making for your family ever day. Hats off to your nana n pop for jumping when needed to give you the break and refocus when much required. In the end you have created wonderful adventures and memories. Love your content guys and the fact you took time out for you. You can’t be good parents if you aren’t taking care of yourself too. It’s a challenge to recognise when to take those breaks and even admit you need them. It’s great to share the real stuff as well as the highlights. Can highly recommend cruising for families too. The kids have a ball at the daycare they have and you can spend time together too without having to decide what to cook for dinner 😂 To be honest we don’t have time to watch an episode every week so we get to them when we can so please don’t feel that pressure is there for weekly. Hi guys, many thanks for your upfront openness, it makes watching your videos so good. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to make a suggestion. I have experienced burnout as well and the cause of it was long busy days and then working late at night. The cure was to work during the day only and always make sure I had something fun to look forward to every evening. You mentioned how much you're on the go all day. You get the kids to bed about 8pm and only then you start your editing work, just when you should be slowing down, relaxing and getting ready for bed. I suggest making time one day a week to do all your editing work during the day, not at night. Try to get the editing for each episode done in one day. Evenings are for relaxing. Just my thoughts. My wife and I would be so sad to see you disappear off UA-cam. Regards, Paul.

Righto, you two listen up. I have just been forced to medically retired after 33 years of policing with chronic PTSD. I spent years fighting to stay at work no matter the cost. That cost is huge. Don’t put yourselves into a dry gully you can’t get out of. Right now my wife and I are also traveling full time. Mathematics tells us, you can do a video every 2 weeks and that will halve your stress. Please look after yourselves and hopefully we bump into you on the road.

I think that is your biggest challenge while full time travelling, having no “me time” and date nights and general timeouts. I am so glad you had a wonderful time cruising and Elena’s parents looked after the boys. You have to look after yourselves first and foremost, don’t stress about putting a video out every week, as much as we love seeing them.
I can’t get over happy little Ollie is all the time, such an adorable smile, love him and watching Finn & Lennox interact with each other is marvelous. You guys are doing a fantastic job as parents, we love watching your boys, and you guys.

One thing I feel like I've noticed is since ya got the truck it feels like you guys have been full throttle, obviously we only see what's on UA-cam but it seems like you've done major distance really quick, maybe try slow down and relax and just kinda put a UA-cam video up when you can/ feel like it sorta thing. Thank you guys for your honesty about travelling life. We are a semi retired couple and we still find that some days on the road can be testing, so I can imagine with 3 active little boys you are constantly on the go. I'm new to your channel and have been enjoying flicking through your videos. We have got some great ideas for camping in the East (we are from the West) when we head there in 7 weeks time. Some great places around the midwest (where we are from) include Greenhead, Milligan Island, Knobby Head, Wedge Island, Grey and Lesueur National Park at Karda Campground. Enjoy the wind, it keeps the flies away!!

Take a month off every now and again and bank up a heap of edits. Come back and drip feed us the edits a month later. So youll always have a month headstart on us. Great to hear yous had a cruise together, might have to squeeze 4 car seats in July 2024 🤣🤣. Appreciate all the hard work guys.

Maybe a video once a fortnight. I guy I know loved camping but said making video at camp meant he had no time to enjoy camping so he jumped off You Tube altogether. Just keep adjusting until you find that sweet spot.

Geesus guys that was a scary thumbnail but we do understand your deal as us being long term travelers over many years and WE didn't have to deal with three lovely but active young kids so we sort of understand the workload you face.
Friday nights tea for us would never be the same but your happiness and mental health is more important than 30 minutes of the best entertainment on the box for us.
Being avid camper/caravaners we have watched a lot of camping channels and there are many but for many months now yours is the only one that has our subscription.

Talk about keeping it real …. I can’t imagine doing what you’re doing with 3 little kids … we have a motor home and went for 5 weeks on our own and we loved it … unfortunately our little cat hates being in the motorhome when it’s going so we can’t take her with us … not even for a weekend, plus … after our little trip, hubby had a heart attack so now the MH is on the market. Wish we had done it a long time ago when we were younger. Hats off to you both for giving your kids such a unique experience and I wish you all the best … don’t get disheartened, you did the best thing you could have done, taking a leisurely cruise and chilling out. There’s obviously a whole lot of love in your truck and you two know how to keep it alive. Good on you 👏

We are a nana and pop of 4 grand children from 9 weeks to 8 years across two families and know full well it takes a village to raise a family. You have 3 in one family in a caravan. That has to be the hardest time you. What a fantastic experience and memories you are making for your family ever day. Hats off to your nana n pop for jumping when needed to give you the break and refocus when much required. In the end you have created wonderful adventures and memories. Christmas is coming, a time to take a break to be with family. You do the same as all other families Cheer, Merry Xmas. We love you guys.

Love your content guys and the fact you took time out for you. You can’t be good parents if you aren’t taking care of yourself too.
It’s a challenge to recognise when to take those breaks and even admit you need them. It’s great to share the real stuff as well as the highlights. Can highly recommend cruising for families too. The kids have a ball at the daycare they have and you can spend time together too without having to decide what to cook for dinner 😂
To be honest we don’t have time to watch an episode every week so we get to them when we can so please don’t feel that pressure is there for weekly. Love your stuff guys. Hope to meet you on the road sometime.

Hi guys, many thanks for your upfront openness, it makes watching your videos so good. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to make a suggestion. I have experienced burnout as well and the cause of it was long busy days and then working late at night. The cure was to work during the day only and always make sure I had something fun to look forward to every evening. You mentioned how much you're on the go all day. You get the kids to bed about 8pm and only then you start your editing work, just when you should be slowing down, relaxing and getting ready for bed. I suggest making time one day a week to do all your editing work during the day, not at night. Try to get the editing for each episode done in one day. Evenings are for relaxing. Just my thoughts. My wife and I would be so sad to see you disappear off UA-cam. Regards, Paul.
