Yeah no worries. All of our footage has been captured on the mavic air 2S. We have just upgraded to the latest model, the mavic air 3 but i havent created any content with it yet. I really only know about the mavic drones, they are the class leaders in drones so I will only talk about them. The mavic air is the mid range drone and middle in size also. They also have the mini and the pro. The air model can handle windy conditions far better than a mini can and as creators we can justify the extra size and cost for this purpose alone. The mini has a smaller size and flight time but it's form factor is great and it's far less obnoxious when in the air. The camera quality will be comparable but obviously the bigger drones will have better cameras with bigger sensors as they can carry more. The mavic pro is much larger and far more obnoxious in the air, but comes with a better camera and increased flight time. It would be much harder to store the pro in a caravan and we can't justify the space and cost as the air model suits our needs. Hope this helps.
@@SvedosTrippin Thanks so much for sharing guys and can't wait till you start doing videos again PS, the wife says she loves Mel's dresses Thanks again and travel safe
Hi guys. So happy you turned this feature on as a long time watcher I'm so happy to give back just a little. Old mate beat me to buying the kids an icecream.... but I think they deserve more because they are so polite and well mannered. ❤
Thank you so much, sorry for such a delayed reply, we've been flat out. The kids are getting super spoiled at the moment, there will be several ice creames.
I think a black cocky bite in the glasses is a wonderful souvenir. I climbed the Gloucester Tree in 1991. I was terrified. It is two way traffic on those spikes.
Great episode❣️Loved Kaylee's commentary. The Dinosaurs & birds were fantastic. Everyone looked like they were having FUN. What a wonderful place to camp. Love the way Owen rocks his new black hat! Suits him. Keep on having FUN. LUV U ALL. MUM🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hey guys, great vlog! It was a fantastic display of good old-fashioned family fun, with some really interesting places to visit in the southwest of WA. Brett, your filmmaking skills are really starting to shine; at times, it felt like I was watching a Leyland Brothers documentary or something similar! Good luck with the repairs; I hope they're not too difficult or costly. Thanks for sharing! Stay safe, and I'm looking forward to the next adventure. Kind regards, Corrie
Thanks corrie. Leyland brothers were before my time, I was into Malcolm Douglas as a kid but. But I think I might have to find some old Leyland brothers and have a watch for some inspo. Thanks for watching.
Well I hope the time you have left here is full of awesome adventure's. I live in the south west and have been to many of the places you have been visiting, with my family over the years. It's a great part of Western Australia. Looking forward to seeing were you go next. Travel safe.
Far out Fam.. that was the best vlog👍 having Kayleigh do the voice over was brilliant..watch out Brett .. you’ll be redundant soon.. and what a way to go.. and Mel, your unbridled joy at stopping at the ‘no stop bridge’ was perfect.. it’s what I would have done too👊🏻 .. and the yabbies, avos, figs.. all looked great.. I can see a cook book on the way.. take care, Sandy
The Bicentennial Tree is the one we climbed when we lived in WA. Our youngest boy Will was about 7 and took off up the tree. I was petrified he would fall through the rails but he refused to stop until we reached the very top platform. Awesome views but hellish scary😂
Yeah it looks bloody scary. Don't know if I would of done it if it were open. Though, I guess if I think on it, I probably would have, cause I have a motto of do some thing that scares you every day.
Absolutely love each weeks blog, i look forward to it as you would a netflix series. Wish it had the balls to travel Australia as you your family does. I hope you make it to the easten states so I may bump into you and buy you both a drink ( wine for the boss). Keep the blogs coming, always a like from me.
Thanks for another great video guys. Kaylee did well in her cameo narrating role🏆 That was an awesome farm stay.. Hope the tap and fan have been quick fixes 🤞 Safe travels and see you next week ❤
Great vid and awesome to see you guys enjoying WA. Owen and Kaylee are so much bigger then they were when we camped with you guys. See you at the GC soon🙌
Hey guys keep the great videos coming We will be passing through Pemberton soon and wanting to have a look at the Gloucester Tree... Can i go in towing caravan and is there parking available for car/van available near tree. Thanks heaps Russell
Hi mate we came through the explorer way and you wouldn't want to be towing there. I think it's possible to get in towing but you wouldn't want to take a wrong turn out there, I would suggest parking up somewhere and doing a day trip like we did.
I misspoke on the video. There is a little button at the bottom of the video that says "super thanks" or just "thanks" that allows viewers to make donations to creators.
It's not sounding good for the Gloucester and other climbing trees to open :( I think insurance is getting too expensive. Sorry you guys didn't get to climb
@@SvedosTrippin yep my fomo is huge. Due to health reasons I haven't been able to work a lot of my adult life which means I haven't been able to do as much travel as I'd like.
Can I ask what sort of drone you guys might recommend? Great quality footage

Great job Kayleigh, that was done very professionally 👏. Thanks for the episode, enjoyed it very much. Have a great week.

Hi love watching you but Mel can you please stop playing with your HAIR it is so annoying we have to turn of sometimes as it is very distructiving
Thanks for the feedback. It's a nervous thing because of the cameras but we will work on it.
