I truly miss George more than I can express. This world became a little more colder with George leaving. We all go on with life. Moving forward and trying to keep the values that George expressed. I am sad to say I truly worry about the future of our world when all the other incredible musicians like Clapton and others from that area are gone. What will the world do.? It’s not like you find this kind of talent on America gots talent. My life and memories are built on this generations music and not just the music but what theses guys did as far as writing and composing the most beautiful music in my opinion our history. I’m a little scared for the world and it’s future without these pioneers being here with us. God bless you George and Eric,Paul John Ringo, Tom, etc…..
The 1974 concert and this one are night and day. George was very relaxed here with his buddy EC and playing in Japan which was safer. Rest In Peace George. Still miss you.
Yeah I saw that recently and was shocked and saddened. He was at a low point with his marriage, the business and his health, but yeah what a come back with this gem.
dum post about EC in the beatles, but if he was I'm sure it would have been giant' He's one of the most tasteful player's of all time and never overbearing. He's all about being a collaborator.
Amazing what they did with the single. A single double A side. John and Paul agreed the best songs were both George's. There's little doubt that Here Comes the Sun would have been number 1 with a a Paul B side. Or Hete Comes the Sun and Octopus' Garden as a B. George and Ringo had the best 3 songs on that album. That's my opinion. Just crazy that they did it that way. Here Comes the Sun and Something have held up just as well under the test of time as any Lennon-MacCartney song. Paul was known for songs that we could sing along with. Surprise! Octopuss' was the perfect sing a long. Abbey Road as great as it was, was undervalued in that respect by emi and the Beatles.

George has proved many times though that he CAN "Clapton" as good as the rest of them when he wants too- and flashy doesnt always mean good. Clapton wouldn't have fit in The Beatles- He would've wanted to put in guitar solos in everything, while George was perfect at making it interesting..

We NEED more George Harrison's in this world. Taken away way too soon. One can only wonder what his future solo albums, or Traveling Wilburys Vol 9, could have given us. His loss does make you cry as you listen to the amazing music he gave us. But All Things Must Pass, just not so early.
