I really think that Tank the Tech hit it on the head. I think Nico, the guy who sings the cleans, was the missing piece of the puzzle for these guys that's going to push them into being global stars. Eskimo Callboy was great before Nico, and Sebastian, the guy who Nico replaced, was a great fit for the band, but I just think that there's some kind of perfect storm of chemistry with Nico, and Sebastian has gone on to do great things with Ghostkid. Hypa Hypa was the first release with Nico, and you could tell they were experimenting to see what he could do, as he's played a much more significant role in both We Got the Moves and Pump It. It's obvious with the Ghostkid stuff that Sebastian wanted to go a very different way musically, and it's really worked out very well for all involved, I think.
Random nice POlice Girl is showing up. Eskimo Callboy: "lick the bush"
Noone has the reference :(
@@Illunada0001 That's because the bush looks a bit to tree-y. :) It would need to be bushier. Like a BIG BUSH. O_O
how can you not love this band????
If it helps, in Germany, that particular hairstyle is commonly known as a "pony".
Btw, if you're going to react to a live song of theirs, this is by far the best one to do.
Their 'Making of' videos to the songs are also really awesome and just make you love them more.
I watched a video of them reacting to reactors reacting to their songs. 😆😆
I'm dancing whilst misting myself with the spray gun. Glad you enjoyed this!
Haha
We have some bands of that type, but mostly singing in German. Bands named "Feuerschwanz", "we butter the bread with butter" or JBO, you might like their song "metal was my first love" , english.
I second this, you need to watch WBTBWB. 20 km/h, Klicks.Likes.Fame.Geil or Dreh Auf! and then when you've got a feel for them watch their cover of Hypa Hypa. Or just bite the bullet and start with the cover.
JBO was my first live concert, Explizite Lyrik in Zedtwitz, Fernverkehr
Love your reactions to Eskimo Callboy!
Hi great reaction ... since you are celebrating the boys, be sure to check out Kalle Koschinsky feat. Eskimo Callboy - Castrop X Spandau. Greetings from Germany
Will do! Danke schön!
Capturing the "licking the bush" scene, for youre analyses was just on point :D
I was scrolling through looking for a thumbnail and I couldn't go past that one. Haha
incredible song....incredible band!!!
There are clips of them from Wacken live here on UA-cam. They’re brilliant!
Easy follow and like. Obviously I discovered the channel through them, but I've since then caught up. Keep it up!
Thanks!
Some times, music is just fun.
The Bush, my god the bushhhhh !!!!!! 🤪🤪🤪😂🤣🤣
😂
Ayy this is my favourite one, crystals is a good one too if you want something more serious by them (bit older tho)
Talking about comedy/parody metal bands you should do infant annihilator, i guess they're purely parody but i still love them. I personally would recommend soil the stillborn lyric video.
Great reaction, keep it up!
No, no, no! Surely he should start with Blasphemian? Throw him in the deep end!😂
I heard someone call this party core. That definitely seems to fit this song
Yes!
The horse killed me 😂😂😂😂
Did you already do CastropxSpandau? I love that one...such a good song and funny Video
Not yet, but I'll check it out!
These guys are a trip! Lol..
How good are these songs!
@@PrymalChaos I enjoy em alot
watch Hate/Love its completly different, but great
good analysis...
Thanks!
Spot on analysis. I discovered EC 1 month ago and keep repeating this, Hypa Hypa and Pump It. Another band I discovered 10 months ago has become my 2nd all time favourite band just behind Led Zeppelin. Please consider reacting to Bandmaid. 3 great live performances from the 2020 World Domination Tour. Domination, Freedom or Play. You won't be disappointed with any of the 3
Bandmaid is on the list.
Bandmaid are amazing
Be sure to watch the making of of these videos they put out!
You're starting to gather some momentum now dude, you are absolutely killing it! You'll pass 10k subs in no time. Hell, you'll pass me by the end of the year. Bravo!
Thanks for the support man! Your advice has always been spot on. I appreciate that.
Who knows. Maybe that first UA-cam Play Button is a real possibility! Haha. One step at a time though.
@@PrymalChaos It's definitely in the cards, you have all the key aspects of a really successful reaction channel already, so I can't even imagine where you'll be in another year or two. I appreciate you taking my suggestions seriously too, I really enjoy hearing your analysis of my favorite recent songs so it works for both of us. I'll throw in some more as time goes on. Too bad you live half a world away, you seem like a great guy to have a beer with.
I'd love to see your shop!
So you may have noticed that I have stepped off the path with the last couple of videos. I want to step back in line with something pretty brutal, with fairly universal appeal. Any ideas?
@@PrymalChaos Fair enough. Okay I'll throw a few thoughts out there with a heavy bias, as I love love LOVE brutal music. I think the previous suggestion of Attila - Pizza is a good one because it's sort of in the same theme of silly-but-heavy music, but I think that's already on your list.
We Butter The Bread With Butter. Okay, full disclosure, my favorite band. German band that's got the silliness like Eskimo Callboy but much heavier. Really really unique blend of electronica, deathcore, and just plain fun. 20km/h might be the best first choice. They also did a collaboration with Eskimo Callboy and did their own version of Hypa Hypa too. Both really really fun songs, with lots of HEAVY.
Slaughter to Prevail - Agony is another one of their most popular singles, not quite as good as Baba Yaga or Demolisher but it's pretty heavy and gets a lot of views. Those are probably their top 3 songs from their newest album.
Lorna Shore - Immortal. Previous singer to Will Ramos but he's still fantastic in his own right. One of the most epic and amazing blackened deathcore (deathcore with black metal influences) songs of all time IMO. Awesome, awesome track, it was my favorite of the year when it came out (2019 I think?). Tons and tons of reactions to this one too.
Black Tongue - Second Death. This is a sort of downtuned, doomy deathcore type band. A different sound than you're used to but very heavy and very dark. Really really good though, this is the top band in the kind of...doomcore genre I guess?
Paleface. This is another direction, sort of a deathcore-inspired genre called Beatdown. Kind of a mix of deathcore with an almost punk-like aggression but with all the dials turned to 11. Very raw at times. Even incorporates rap elements at times. Very "tough guy" music that can feel cringy at first for sure, it's not for everyone but if you want to get hyped, it's hard to beat. Top three songs are probably Curse Us, Dead Man's Diary and Deathtouch (in that order).
Infant Annihilator if you want to go full brutal. By that I mean, easily the most brutal music and lyrics of any band I've ever encountered. The lyrics are intentionally over-the-top and bonkers insane. It's basically a supergroup of guys who are in other bands, who join together to make the most ridiculous music on the planet. Will Ramos credits their lead singer Dickie Allen as inspiration for some of his vocal techniques, for example - but at the same time they are so extreme they are hardly mainstream. BUT, the reaction videos are always popular because people really want to see how you'll react to such insane stuff. Having said all of that, it's a tough choice which song to pick, you might just shoot for their most popular stuff but I think Blasphemian has one of the weirdest, most disturbing videos I've seen and it's always good for a laugh. If you want the most disturbing lyrics of all time, the lyric video for Soil the Stillborn or Swinaecologist is probably the worst I've ever seen from any band, ever. Just keep in mind, they are literally trying to be beyond horrifying almost as a parody of the whole extreme metal scene - if that makes sense.
Along the same lines, Brojob is another supergroup of sorts who takes the extreme music in the other direction. They make a lot of well, extremely gay songs for comedic effect. But it's heavy as hell at same time. Try Teenie Weenie.
Okay, I've typed a novel and that's good enough for now. I've tried to give you some of my favorite selections but ALSO selected songs and bands that get good traction in the reaction world. Honestly, IA might get you the most views, just because everyone wants to see the well...reaction LOL. But uhhh, definitely strap in for that one. :D
Dude that's fantastic info. Thanks for taking the time. We Butter the Bread... Has been mentioned 100 times. That may be a good place to start, but I'll use the rest of this as a roadmap.
It's gonna be harder and harder to figure out where to go based off comments. My inbox is dead! I left it alone since this morning and there has to be 100-150 comments in it. I have been trying to at least acknowledge all of them up to this point, but it's getting to that critical point.
I guess that's a blessing and a curse. 😂🤘
Thanks again for the advice and somewhat of a mentorship.
take my subscription...
btw, "Spiritbox - Constance"
Greetings from germany 😉❤️ 🤘
Willkommen!
@@PrymalChaos thank you 😁 Danke 😉
There is a german band almost like Eskimo Callboy, they are long time around, I enjoying the new album sooo much.
They combine death metal with catchy corus, also party.
They sing in german and there topics are goofy. The music is also something very uniqe.
You know hypa hypa, they did with Eskimo Callboy there version of the song.
I know you would love them, this 2 bands are friends and soo cool.
Band: WE butter the bread with butter
Song: WBTBWB vs. Eskimo Callboy hypa hypa
20 km/h
Dreh auf
N!CE
That are cool songs, try the hypa hypa version, trust me 😁👍
See you 🤘 take care ❤️
Learn: you can only make yourself a fool, when you are in fact a master of your craft.
The "horse" is a pony since "pony" is the German word for bangs - it's a literal pun
Hi from the UK something you might like to check out the band is called Nightwish it's a symphonic metal band from Finland with a Dutch singer floor jansen (the vakyrie) This band has a massive following in Europe and the Internet This is the usual go to song to start your Nightwish journey down the rabbit hole that is Nightwish
Nightwish ghost love score wacken open air concert 2013 official music video
Nightwish romanticide wacken open air concert 2013 ( much heavier than gls)
And prepare for the Nightwish army arriving at the door 🚪 lol 😆
Also check out the band Epica it's another symphonic metal band but mutch heavier than Nightwish
Epica consign to oblivion live at the zenith Paris
Epica also have an army lol 😆
You must be psychic! This went up half an hour ago! It's not a reaction per se as I already had seen this one. The video explains it better.
ua-cam.com/video/ZdDphwYd9TQ/v-deo.html
It's just great fun
It sure is.
I love how that after people join their party, they all end up with the same haircut. As though it was a cult or something.
Party Core IS a cult!
I think if they were like the bloodhound gang and it was all comedy, they wouldn’t be as good, but the music is just as good as the comedy. I also think that the videos go a long way with helping the comedic aspect. If you just listen to the song the lyrics are fun and the music is so catchy and fantastic.
These guys are killing it right now. They know exactly what they're doing, and they're doing it perfectly.
How many genres will be in this song?
ECB: Yes!
Döp Core
Party Core
Pigeon Core
Gardening Core
Waterspraying Core
…
Haha. Pigeon Core needs to be a thing.
Happy New Year from a Happy New Subscriber. Just watched all 3 Eskimo Callboy videos and then started Ghost Love Score - absolutely awesome mate! There is another Australian guy Jo Jo Lewis who started last November who's really good, too with a similar blueprint/template, who I started following just before Xmas. I love most of the 70/80/90's Rock and Metal and my favourite all time band is Judas Priest. Joint 2nd is Rammstein and Nightwish. I don't know whether Rammstein will be chosen to React or to be Reviewed at all - maybe the Deutchland Theatrical Video.Fourth favourite band is Dream Theater .There is also Axel Rudi Pell and Amon Amarth whom hardly anyone tends to follow. Amon Amarth could fit into the harsh/extreme vocal catagory. There are also 2 good Arch Enemy videos 'Deceiver,Deceiver' & 'House of Mirrors' and the new Korn song 'Start the Healing'. Thank You Very Much - hope this is the start of a much better year.Cheers Bud!
Thanks for checking out my stuff! Sounds like you are into some cool music.
Like bc you mentioned Nuno Bettancourt
Nuno is the reason I play guitar. My first guitar was a Washburn N2 Nuno Bettencourt model. I still have it. He is a one of a kind player.
@@PrymalChaos He is one of my faces too. Do you have Extremes very 1st release where he plays Flight of the Bumblebee? Awesome!
@@amygoodson-catlady Flight of the Bumblebee was on Pornografitti which was their second album. If you haven't heard their first self titled album you are missing out!!! There is a song on there called Play With Me that might be one of my favourite solos of his. 🤘😎🤘
@@PrymalChaos OH I have it all! Just stoned so I don't remember details. Nuno live is such a treat! In fact one of my fave songs is Happiness off Schitzophonic. Nothing fancy, just a nice song!
@@amygoodson-catlady great album! Not shreddy Nuno, but just a great alternative rock album.
You must react to WBTBWB Vs Eskimo Callboy version of Hypa Hypa. You'll love it!
I'm gonna get to that asap!
if you like comedy bands, you should check out Nanowar of Steel with "Valhalleluja", "Norwegian Raggeton" and "Uranus feat Michael Starr (Steel Panther)"
Haha I already LOLed at Valhalleluja. What a great name for a song!
@@PrymalChaos If you hear it it would be much better. I dont want to say too much, but it also can be a commercial.
And if you react to "Norwegian Raggeton" turn subtitles on.
Another song from then is "and then i noticed that she was a gargoyle"
I really want to hear your opinion of their more serious song "Hate / Love" that they release in between HypaHypa and We got the moves.
I'll take a look!
i think the horse does not have a wig. it's his hair
Definitely.
Would be fun to see you react to Heilung. Not metal of course... more like "amplified history".
Oh it's coming. I am super interested in Heilung. Also NYTT
