Sean, I love how you share the Scottish countryside with us, showing the beauty that makes Scotland so special. So don’t ever be concerned about it, you allow those of us that most likely will never get to visit a glimpse of your world. The dogs seem like they are enjoying their vacation as well, playing while taking in the new sights, sounds, and smells. You are so considerate of where you are staying, not abusing the privilege of getting to bring your dogs. Most of all I hope you are taking time for you to relax and rest. You work hard and have earned this break. Looking forward to seeing more of your vacation. Take care!!
I’ve been to beautiful Scotland. I went to Edinburgh, went to the castle I got to see the North Sea. It’s the most gorgeous country. My ancestors are from Scotland, but I live in Texas. If you ever wanna visit Texas you’re welcome to come just give me a holler I got a place for you to stay. I live on a ranch in the middle of Texas.
Hi, I'm a farmer from the North of Scotland and recently found your channel. I'm really enjoying it, so glad you'd a nice holiday and thanks for taking us with you. My late mother was working in that area as a young person and often spoke about being there but I've never visited so it's a real treat to see the area. All the best 👍
Our big family had a border collie for 18 years! Sox was her name and she was the best friend to all of us ! The collie is the smartest dog in the world and so very sweet!
So Love the Scottish rough & rugged scenery - especially rock formations jutting out of the land! Spent a week in Scotland in May 1975 - my favourite part of whole U.K. trip! 1/2 week in Edinburgh - my most fav city anywhere & then 1/2 week in Inverness & surrounding areas! Further into the Highlands the more I loved it! In 2009 trip to Edinburgh with only one side trip to Sterling Castle I regret not getting back to the Highlands - visiting family who were working in Edinburgh on that trip. On the train up from York you immediately knew when you crossed from England to Scotland - no need for signs - the topography changed dramatically, to rugged & breathtaking steep sided hills - end of May the Broom was beginning to bloom - beautiful yellow pockets everywhere - heather & other wild cover - I had an instant connection to Scotland’s landscape - only time I ever felt like that elsewhere was on Cape Breton (Northern Nova Scotia) and the west coast of Newfoundland from Port aux Basques thru Blomidin Mtns to Corner Brook! Funny, isn’t it, that the Scottish who settled in CDA found these areas to be most like home! I can’t get that connected-to-the-landscape-feeling in the Western Rockies - they’re majestic but, remote - they just don’t catch my soul like Eastern CDA & Scotland topography do! Thank you for giving me that feeling again - a bit - with this video - NFLD has pebble/Stone beaches, too! ❤❤❤. BTW the food was Better by far in Scotland after 3 weeks in England. Both trips I noticed Scottish people will not pay good money for dreck! Your National Museum & Art Galleries - free entrance - brilliant - met Scottish families taking advantage of that to take kids out of school for family day trip - educate them - live not Memorex! Those public Bldgs Had THE BEST CAFETERIAS - we ate hearty Home made soups & fresh-baked hardy Breads & lush Millionaire’s Shortbread for Dessert - Oh my goodness - Bed & breakfast in Inverness served THE BEST Full Scottish breakfast! Licking my chops now! Love your country so much! Thanks for sharing some of your vacation & smart sweet dogs with us! ❤❤❤
Oh, my, what a beautiful place! I understand what you said about living inland and missing the sea. Storm's first encounter with the wave lapping in over her feet and her quick retreat was priceless and not an unexpected reaction. It's wonderful you and Stacey are getting to visit close family. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so very true. Sean, better luck next time on catching a fish. You are a skilled cinematographer, director and producer, and I'm looking forward to your next holiday video. 🎥📸 🐾💕
❤ That made my morning! A lovely scenic romp out on the cliffs & shoreline. The dogs are ecstatic! I love that you brought all 4 of "the kids". They really had a great time on their new adventure.
@flappycelery I'm not sure if you realize you wrote your comment as a response to my comment instead of to Seanthesheepman. I'm not sure he will see your comment to me.
I love that you brought the whole crew to the holiday cottage. I love seeing the cliffs, shoreline and rustic landscape. Gorgeous. Thanks for the video!
My husband is from Stranraer originally and I have spent many happy hours up along that coast line with him and our family visiting his family who are still there.
We just returned from a trip to Scotland and Ireland and Scotland was stunning!! I am so blessed to have been able to go there. Thanks for reminding me of the beauty we experienced.
I love that we get to see Monty. What a sweetie! And that the dogs gets to see the beach. It is a bummer they can’t run free more there. I bet they would love it.
Too cute watching the workers at the sea. They were seriously curious about what you wanted them to do. Thank you for letting them have this holiday. Once they understood the assignment it was let the games begin. So fun and funny
So fun to see everyone having such a good time! In all the time I’ve been following you, I don’t think you’ve ever taken a whole week of vacation - bravo!!!
What a stunning and beautiful sceneries.! I live in hot tropical Indonesia, and seeing places in your country is always very interesting for me. Yes, we also have beautiful beaches, but every place has their own beauty. Thank you so much for sharing your holiday with us!! ❤
So beautiful, the craggy beach, the field of bluebells (?), even the fog is lovely. The dogs look like they're having a wonderful time, tho' they weren't quite sure about the beach: "Dad, that's a REALLY big water dish, let's go back to the cottage & push those sheep around a bit!"
Love to see the dogs in the back garden chasing each other. But like my Collie, water was too cold and too strange at the beach. Wonderful vid. May your boys and girl be forever happy.
It is so wonderful to see the dogs at the beach for the first time. What must they think? The looks on their faces warms my heart. A truly beautiful episode. Thank you for sharing .
Sean and Stacey, you two are going to hit the magic number of one million subscribers pretty soon!! The views of vacation land are so lush and beautiful. Sorry your first fishing tryout left you empty handed. What are the fish locally and what was your bait. I’m from Michigan, surrounded by four of the five Great Lakes. I love to fish! And though I live not too far from the Tennessee River, it doesn’t nearly compare to the Detroit River and all the freighters and boaters. Enjoy your vacation and thanks for the videos. 💖👍🇺🇸
If only we knew what was going through the dogs minds during the holidays 😊. This is my kind of holiday getaway, beautiful, quiet and away from crowds. Everytime I see Kate I just want to hug her, she has such a beautiful, calm gentle looking face.
Loved this ❤. The little cottage is so beautiful and Storm was so adorable checking out the sea. Have a wonderful time with family and enjoy every moment.
I love watching your videos! I miss visiting Scotland, and I miss my Border Collies. I had 3 that were so awesome! I have 3 Aussies now and a Lab. They keep my life very busy! Lol
The North West of Scotland abd it's Island's have some of the most beautiful Beaches anywhere I've ever seen. Miles of Pure White or Golden Sand. Deserted and pristine. This Beach did not do Scotland's Beaches justice but still had that misty, magical feel about it. Thank you for this lovely video. 💓🏴
I was really looking forward to part 2 and I’m glad part 3 is coming! I totally enjoyed this. You grew up in an absolutely gorgeous place, and it’s so nice you have family still in the area to visit. The coast is so beautiful! I understand how you miss being by the water. I live close enough to the ocean. I don’t ever want to go farther away. At least you can visit, and where you do live is so pretty on its own. I loved seeing the dogs walk you! This must be such an interesting place for them. I hope you and Stacey are relaxing. You do work hard. You need to make these good memories together now. Believe me, you’ll always remember them. Hope you get some sun in part 3!
It makes me feel slightly better that my dog pulls on the leash when I see Storm and Echo pulling despite being super smart working dogs 😅 them and my Marley just seem to get so excited to go go go that they forget they’re tied to slower humans 🤣
Leahkiviaho8856 ty for the comment about the leash pulling, my Charli BC is always pulling to see the next blade of grass, even tho she does know how to heel when she has to!😊
Our Collie "Cairn" had four ticks over the last week here in East Ayrshire, the last week, seems to be rife at this time of the year. Can't keep ours out of the river lol. 😀
Did people notice the bluebells in the area he was checking for dangers? They are a truly beautiful wild plant, the exact species being almost limited to Britain. Where I live in the English Midlands the ancient woods are often "bluebell woods", and are stunning in spring. I'd be interested to know what Sean calls them; many Scots call what I would call a "harebell" a bluebell, and he may call what I call a 'bluebell" a "wild hyacinth".
We picked up our first boarder collie when after training he failed to work, 14 months old 3 years ago now, we took him down to the beach which is very long and secluded, he hadn’t been off the lead long, he loved it so full of life, not fazed at all. So glad your outstanding dogs are enjoying their break
Loved it. So excited about your holiday vlogs and can't wait to see the next ones. Thanks for taking your viewers along with you on vacation! What a lovely coastal village it is. Seeing that pier instantly reminded me of our holiday in Tobermory. 20 years ago , yet still very present to this day. ❤️🏴
What a treat this video is, Sean! Shame there are strict leash laws there. One thing I always appreciated about having a herding breed is that I can let them loose and they stay with me. (My greyhounds on the other hand would be in Utah before I can notice!) They seemed to love the beach and water - one thing I find unique to the border collie breed is that wonderful sense of goofiness and fun. Such happy little characters.

I’m new to the vlog…first day in fact…five minutes in if that when I saw how well you treat your sheep & dogs I subscribed…this is 2nd video I’ve watched…the first one being when Echo&Storm were moving sheep up to the grassy field with access to other field one…..herding is something that’s always fascinated me in how close human & dogs work together…like a dance! Thank you😊
The best thing about UA-cam is that anyone with an interesting story can become a presenter. And you do it very well! I think your countryman Steve Marsh, the intrepid traveller. has been to this village. The sheepdogs certainly know the difference between work and play!
This makes me appreciate Florida beaches! 😘 I did love Scotland living there for years. The trade off now is no longer avoiding sauna style thick hot and humid summers. And rarely dealing with freezing weather. Never snow
Yep the dogs are definitely wondering where the sheep are😂 the area looks beautiful even in the mist. I’m originally from Nova Scotia and it reminds me of our wharves. They see the beach and are thinking What the Fluff? Stormy says I’m not a Labrador. Have a great vacation.🥰💕🇨🇦
Thank you for sharing Sean Been following y'all for some time now im happy all of you was able to take some chill time off. The scenery is beautiful!! See you next video enjoy!! 🥰👍

Sean, you are without a doubt an awesome doggie Dad. All of the dogs respect your commands yet are comfortable knowing you're "in charge". Awesome seaside countryside. Love this video. Cheers from SoCal!! 🙂🙃🙂
They're so intelligent they probably sent postcards to the sheep. 'Having a lovely time, hope you're behaving'.
😂😂😂❤❤❤
Oh do you do put them on leash at times.
So attentive to you!
With Paw prints.
That’s hysterical. Yes, sending postcards to the sheep is so funny. That grass is so long. I wonder what it is.
You can see the dogs looking at Sean thinking, "Soooo...where are the sheep?" 😂
Haha. Xox

It is so beautiful there. I love listening to you and watching your videos.
Sean, you are without a doubt an awesome doggie Dad. All of the dogs respect your commands yet are comfortable knowing you're "in charge". Awesome seaside countryside. Love this video. Cheers from SoCal!! 🙂🙃🙂
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing some of your country with us.
Thanks for continuing to share your family, dogs, and vacation with us all. As always, inspiring.
So nice to see those working dogs playing with each other
