OG fan for life. I took my 17 year old to this show, his first Korn concert. He said it was his second favorite show behind his favorite band. #alwaysafreak
this was my first ever korn concert!! my dad got me tickets for my sweet 16 and it was FREAKING AWESOME! can't wait to see more, can't believe they've been around for 30 years!
I first saw Korn in 1997, took my 12 year old daughter. Tomorrow night for the Houston show, my wife and I are taking our 20 year old granddaughter and her friend. I will be 68 in December, 3rd time seeing Korn live, hope to see them after 70 too! 👍
Was in the lawn here. It was awesome to here jon pay tribute to all his old fans and appreciate all the new ones as well. What a killer show and genuine guys
You make it sound like you have multiple 16th birthday parties! lol I'm glad you had a good birthday, I saw KoRn in 2022 with Evanescence and it was amazing!
SHUCK YEA !!!!!!! My Sister was out there in the lawn with my brother, too far away for a good video, they called me up on messenger so I could rock out with them all the way here in Ohio. Been a korn fan since the beginning . They were telling me about all the younger generation there that they met and it is so cool. Happy birthday @Mythical_Arts & @corinearchuleta2483. Thank you for uploading the full show. \m/ ROCK ON !!!! \m/
I’m 57 and never been to a concert until now. My son got us tickets for their phoenix show and I must say I love korn even more now after experiencing their concert. Best birthday ever for sure
First time seeing them was 2010 mayhem festival and now I got to see them in Atlanta almost 15 years later!!! Time flies and this band helps to pass it
Same I bought my mom front row tickets when she was diagnosed with cancer. a year later she’s cancer free and we are going to see Korn on Monday! We are both excited
Such an epic playlist! I appreciate the fact they played some lesser known OG fan favorites on top of the usual popular tracks people expect. The only additional song that would make this concert perfect for me would be “Lies.” Thankfully I experienced their 20th anniversary 10 years ago when they performed the 1994 album front to back even including the emotional Daddy 😮
Korn still kicking ass in the roaring 20's, and I have to wonder if the dreads get caught in the strings ever, or they just make and extra ambience sound.
Nice work. We were right behind you, towards the center. Only issues were the janky sound- being up close- they mix the sound for the people in the midsection & back- And the encore screens were cheesy- “ that all you got” etc..
Yes, the screens were definitely cheesy. Just like when I saw them last in 2022 and they played behind a cage for some reason for a song or 2. KoRn don't need the encore screens their music can hype up the crowd on it's own.
@@brokengoose9831 I see it as the equivalent of the band sending the crowd a text message. I am grown up already, brokengoose9831, and that is precisely why it did not appeal to me. So, go fuck yourself with your text message, encore laziness, "fun".
Fieldy is irreplaceable, but damn Ra Diaz is an incredible bassist! His RUSH covers that he recorded with Charlie Benante on UA-cam are definitely worth checking out!
Jonathan Davis has been a lot more tame on the way he head bangs post covid. This isn’t me hating or anything, everyone ages. Just an observation I had. Here you can see he doesn’t go down for his normal headband in here to stay until the curtain begins to drop down.
Sucks I don’t have enough money to go to the upcoming kOrn concert that’s coming to my state next Sunday (not this) I’ve also gotten into gojira but not spiritbox. Speaking of, did you record any of the openers or just kOrn here?
We were on the rail off to the side a bit so we got the view before they dropped the curtain which was pretty cool. The downside was that our view was a bit obscured by the security guard and camera operator.
@@LeadMe2TheBliss Munky has been a staple with his grungy sound, if you notice the different speakers and monitors up front you pickup each ones sound. I guess I overall like Munky's 6 string dropped D tuning riffs the most.
@metalrockconcerts4k I'm trying to spot myself lol, I'm pretty short though. I was right behind the dude with the bun and black hoodie with Korn written all over it.
I always loved you all.sorry for Alot of negativity,,i was just schizophrenic too.. give me one more back a chance..i know that your all loved us... more life for you and the family...🔯🙋🔥☠️❤️🌹😭👹🕷️🎸
sucks to be security at shows, my sister used to work security and told me the guys up front always have to look at the crowd and not the band, plus they prolly don't even like korn HAHAHAHA
I’m so sad that they took Insane off the setlist, and hey daddy. I see them for the last show in St. Paul and am severely disappointed. Start the healing sucks live, it’s awkward and they need to take it off the setlist. Still love them to death, but man they make horrible decisions sometimes. 😂
I got lucky. Louder than Life was the very tail end of them playing Hey Daddy and Insane. They didn’t play Start the Healing either. IMO that is the weakest song off Requiem by far.
@@oldskooldude090 No way. Lost In The Grandeur is the worst. Sadly, what I dislike the most about that song is the riffs they just don't do much for me and James and Brian are easily my favorite part about KoRn, not so much Jonathan Davis. If J.D went solo and left KoRn he would never in a million years find another guitar tag team like James and Brian.
@LeadMe2TheBliss bro what are you talking about? That entire band needs each other. JD needs the guitars just like Brian and James wouldn't be shit it JD didn't open up his life the way he did and his scatting and his bagpipes. They ALL need each other. They all would be less successful without each other. However I will tell you JD and SFA was very successful and the entire score and original songs to Queen of the damed was quite successful as well.
Ill happily go see them again when they get another drummer... Dude just tries to hit every cymbal and drum within a 0.3 seconds radius.. It just sounds messy.. KoRn originally was all about Rhythm between the 5 of them... Not saying Ray is a shit drummer, He's fuckin insane... But he just needs to pump the brakes a bit and focus more on the rhythm and flow
Why the hell is Ray closing the hi hat on the drop for It's On? It literally loses all the energy in the song. 17 years in the band and still has no idea how to play certain songs.
Ra is a pretty good bass player but he needs to figure out some new moves besides that foot stomp lol. He needs to learn how to dance with his bass like fieldy would
Or at least co-headlined , I saw them last year when they co-headlined with Mastodon at Fiddlers. They will be headlining everything soon. Trust me. They put on an awesome show
@@MetalFamily8680 They basically were co-headliners, but Gojira wouldn't have accepted that because they are probably KoRn fans too and understand that the band were celebrating their 30th anniversary of their self titled album. There is no way Gojira deserve the same amount of time on stage that KoRn does, especially for this 30th anniversary tour!
Seen Korn in 98 for the first time and now in 2024 I got to take my lil girls to their first korn show they loved it!
