- When your success as an artist is really important to you, feeling as though you’ve failed isn’t an easy thing to stomach. This could be the result of entering a contest, applying for a job, getting a grade on an assignment, or even simply showing your work to someone and not getting the response you were hoping for. But believe it or not, this can be really good for you!

Try to see if there’s a art club/class in your area. It will be easier if you live in a bigger city, but it never hurts to check. Usually they’re free, or maybe 10 bucks at most
