That is the definition of a hack job, Instead of taking a few minutes to clean it off properly he used a sticker, There are other things I could nitpick for a show worthy truck-like how he replaced his gauge trim with an old mismatched ebay piece, but I will be fair and say not everyone is making a show truck and trying to spend big money to get new or good condition matching parts, As it seemed he didn't want to do by buying used, That is fair, The sticker over the residue, on the other hand, is a hack job.

The truck is sounding good but what would make it sound better is bigger stacks like 8inch or something. Keep up the good content brother.
I already have a scheduled date for that.
The smaller the stacks the better they sound, if you put bigger stacks the sound goes away and then it sounds like a barrel rolling down the driveway
The extended shifter sure did look kool but it's about be comfortable while driving and it looks just as nice even if it shorter, very nice upgrades....... love the look 👍 and the upgrade on the engine as well, sounds awesome.
I said it before and I'll say it again. Your truck has come along way. Congratulations looks awesome brother. As far as the jake issue. You can rebuild the jakes using a jacobs jake brake tune up kit CAT sells one too but the Jacobs version is more complete. Could also be an issue with your lash adjustment.
Bro after that day I have been using my jakes daily downshifting with them on and now they are working flawlessly idk what happened there. Maybe the truck needed to be warmed up a bit more idk

Its not a tune up kit. Its a full rebuild kit and the kit rebuilds all 3 jakes. you buy from cat and comes in cat Box. When you open the box, it is a jacobs box inside of that. So no Cat Does not make the rebuild kit. They only sell it in cat packaging with jacobs kit inside. Not sure who told you jacobs kit is more complete. Its the same kit with new spacer gaskets as well. Just to clarify
@@mikegrazio5376 I didn't say CAT makes a tune up kit. I said CAT sells one. Also It is marketed as a tune up kit. It says so on the box.
How much horsepower does the harness add? Also check out the "Gates Green Stripe" belts, man they are the best! They cost a little more but man they don't keep stretching and slipping when you have the AC on. Those TRP belts are OK if your in a jam but those "Gates Green Stripe" are the best I've found! That's all I use on my 3406e. Stay safe ✌🏾

My 89 t800 dump truck rolls coal on a brand new 30,000 cat and 30,000 Rockford Eaton 9 speed shifts like the old browning box in a square pattern
Take the diesel freak off and get it tuned. You'll end up with a cracked head. I tried to tell 3 of my buddies they didn't believe me either...until they were buying heads

It will turn your injectors from electric to mechanical on throttle response basically the more fuel you give it the more fuel you put in cylinder it’s not the most fuel efficient thing to do but if you don’t care about that then it’s something you can think about doing and also if you don’t have a pyrometer you should get one

Yea it rolls coal but not a amount that’s annoying to others which I like even though I run my truck a lot with a lot of coal coming out the stacks. The harness aint for smoke it’s for power it just makes it smoke a lil bit. Nice man it’ll haul ass now

Get the jake rebuild kit, it’s more complete and isn’t too much $$ 300ish depending on make of engine. It’s worth it, to just rebuild and freshen up the jakes.

Wiring harness does not give you horsepower all that does is make the computer think the engine is still cold it's garbage and it will mess your engine up take some advice from somebody who already know all that is for its to make it roll black smoke

Careful with that harness man. Heard some bad things about it. I also have a 6nz. Just join the cat masters group on facebook and see people who have already tried that.
I only use it for video purposes or when loaded with a machine to look cool. But very rare if it’s on

It says around 75hp on the 6nz models. They have a 60 day money back guarantee if you don’t like it. As far as messing up I’m sure that’s not on them. Plus I guess I will find out.

Maybe have someone make you a leather sleeve that comes up shifter stick to just under your red kenworth knob! You can have them dye leather to whatever color you want, but that way will add a little bling and kind of hide the coupling and nuts from view!

Yeah I know Freddy. Just bought some lights there last week. Chrome stop definitely where it's at.
Ok in watching going to throw you some tips. First get the upgraded fuel check valve. This will increase fuel rail pressure and make a massive change.
Second get a reflash from a non cat dealer. Cat flashed from dealer have low nox file and are junk. My 550 6ts cat with a 601 file 9930 injector codes will roll coal like a old freight train on level 5 with the diesel freak harness.
I love what you've done with the truck. I have a Peterbilt 379 that I would like to do some upgrades to as well. You say the installation was easy, but looking at my 3406E, there are quite a few wiring harnesses and some of them use the same connector. It can be a little hard to be sure you have the right one.

Te da más caballos de fuerza, le tira más diésel al injector. Eso solo se le puede poner a los c-15. Ningún otro motor
