@@adrianmartinez3220 I'm from Canada but pretty much the same rule as down there I think. Heavy equipment (10000# of more) has to be restrained with at least 4 chains. Correct for states as well?
That area has changed a lot. I grew up just behind Richie Bros. Across the RR tracks. Thanks for the content and effort you put into all of your videos.
Driver I know it's a work in progress but if you spent the money on a nice paint job spend the money on some quarter fenders at least. Those rocks are gonna chip that nice paint job very quickly. Don't let that paint job go to waste
I have ordered fenders already just waiting for them to get here. And paint job is alright, guy did not do a very good job. Will definetly like to get repainted with the same color but not anytime soon.
Hello driver, from North Berwick Scotland, a bit late to your party I have just came across your channel. It looks like you are doing a great job being methodical on the load tie downs. There are no trucks that sound like yours here in Scotland and the gear changes are slick. Thanks for sharing and stay safe 😷.
enjoyed every second of the vid and others. Love the sound of the C15 beast. Am learning so much from your vids, especially the lowboy vids. Watching from Jamaica, big up yu self.
My mobile is growing a beard just by watching this. Great video with all the loading and drive, going to ATS right now to play my heavy haul Pete lol, cheers from Spain
I'm a heavy equipment mechanic in Australia, mainly do heavy construction - 10t-45t, I have my truck license and sometimes do odd jobs with machines, moonlight doing operating or trucking jobs. I reckon if I get burnt out doing repairs I wouldn't mind doing heavy haulage, especially OTR, get a truck and trailer, make some money for a few years, good way of life, most of time its better pay too.
Now thats a dozer. If taw ever need any equipment operators i would sure like to get back into it. I have been outra it for a while but i can run/ operate anything from a trencher to an excavator and anything else in between.
This is a good video on what NOT to do as a Heavy Haul trucker. First off ALL 4 CORNERS That's Heavy Haul 101. Next the step isn't somthing you should ever use as an anchor point. Next you Always chain down your blade separately. Now for the pad-foot roller you put 2 chains. Should of had one on each Corner separately. Then if the machine pivots in the middle you can do one of 2 thing's. You can drop the locking pin so it can't have it. Or you have to chain it down at the Pivot Point. DOT would blow a gasket if inspecting this load. One thing you did do right blowing your air bags down before loading. One last thing stay off your phone while operating a piece of equipment or driving. Just a few pointers from someone that's been Heavy Hauling for close to 30 years.
cool video bro! saludos desde S. California, been working pushing papers for most of my life, office mouse, that watching these videos takes me out there, thinking of getting my C class now, keep on trucking bro!

Also what was that snapping sound at 32:08 the camera shook and everything. It went SNAP around the corner. Sounded like a chain breaking or something.
chris chandler it always does that after hooking the RGN back up on a turn. Has done it ever since we bought it. Seems like the neck just falls perfectly in place if it’s a bit off.
Also, just a tip, since im usually on YT most of the time (specially now with business slow) don't mind those damn negative comments, just keep on trucking and uploading those videos. new sub here and checking for any new vids.
i don't know much about securing a lot of heavy equipment but i did operate and haul in the us army but we never used chains or binders directly to the tracks,we always chained in an X pattern
Yes x patter is one of the ways to chain or just from the tracks, I wanted to make sure I had enough chains for both machines that’s why I only used one for the back of the dozer and front of the roller
Need 4 tie downs. One chain can be used, but you have to have 2 tie down points with it, and a binder on each. That single chain with one binder, is 100% illegal.
Next time turn the dozer a little one way n the blade the opposite way and you can get the blade inside of the trailer n you won’t be oversize. Works on the smaller dozers
Muy bonitos tus videos. Yo tenía volquetes en. Perú uno de 7 m3 últimamente compré uno de 10 m3 pero no lo use mucho tiempo x q me salió mi visa y lo remate todo para venir a jacsonville eeuu
Hey buddy I watch your videos all the time. Love them. You do good work and are a good driver. Dont get mad at me but one thing I noticed when you were chaining the little dozer you put the chain on the step on the blade. You should never trust a step like that.i would of wrapped it around the blade A arm its self. I know being a small dozer and. Ot going far it will be ok. But DOT doesn't look at it like that. Like I said brother not trying to be a jerk was just throwing it out there
Ya I was thinking it was just settling. You just never know. I know sometimes when you chain down and then hook it back up. The belly sag scan tighten/ loosen chains to the point of snapping also. Usually the chains in the middle will tighten and the chains at front or back will loosen. If you can imagine how the trailor has tensile strength and sags in the middle you can figure what chains do what.
@@Grtruckingdemolitionllc Yes, that was true but also, every manufacturer handbook would tell you where the hook attachments are in its machine. This is even a test question in my Lorry Loader Securer course (A50 ticket) here in the UK

Nice job with the channel, and nice truck. I have always liked how that KW looks, and with a cat that is a nice ride.
Chaining down equipment tires the crap out of me. Plus I use the 3/8 chains. They are too heavy and a pain in the ass. Dont you hate it when you open the ratchet and the ends comes off? It just grinds my gears when I tie down and have to untie 3 miles away. Lol
