► What a treat this was - house music mainstay Derrick Carter providing the grooves as the Sydney sun gradually sets.
Two things i've learned from this video. 1. Derrick Carter is still one of the best DJ's on the planet. 2. It gets dark really quickly in Australia.
Only argument Id make is that, Derrick Carter always was, THE BEST Dj on the planet. :D Never a question. I mean there are a couple Djs that can beat him in certain areas, but overall as a complete package, DC scores consistently high, he has no weakness.

20 years on from when I first saw him play and just as good!
Apart from being an amazing set; watching the sunset during the mix makes it twice as good.
Track at 5 min is Wescott Divine (aka Lawnchair Generals) - Like It Was (this song also may come up as as the name - la la la). This song is old and kinda rare, but you can find it with a little bit of searching!
Also found out the track at 14 min is Jazzy - Lonely (Underground Goodie Mix), the exact one DC plays is likely the shortened Cajmere's Underground Goodie mix.

Last year, I was in Straya for two months. On any given night, I could hear this at multiple spots in Melbourne. Not the same in Sydney. Should've spent most of my time in Melbourne. Hell, I had more fun at Geisha Bar in Perth, than any spot in Sydney.
A lot of the biggest artists like Derrick L. Carter was inspired by lot of black artists from Memphis/Tennessee, after a lot of them are made to contribute to the next level: the avenement of DJing they're made with all the older'sounds from all brothers and sisters ....
