For the past 4 years, I've listened to this to dance, to relax, to study, to write papers, to work, to meditate, etc. This is the soundtrack to my life and I'm sure many can attest to this.
I've lived so many memories to this set....Great house parties, gym sessions, all nighters working on homework, cooking, cleaning, love making, cruising at night, stoned out of my gourd in the desert camping with friends, working on my motorcycle. Truly one of the soundtracks of my life. Thanks for the vibes David!

Today June 21, 2022 I turned 40. I tripped with a good friend at the beach here in San Diego. We started the trip listening to this amazing set. Your music has touched me in ways you will never know. Thank you David.
Pretty sick there’s a few of us in San Diego who listen to him! He was in LA few months back but I couldn’t see him. I saw Mark Knight at beach house on Saturday. Pretty good.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a comment section so wholesome and so full of love after decades on the internet…a true testament to the music and community that has sprung from it ❤ danke David.
For anyone looking for the 22:00 - 27:00 track: Here's what David August wrote on his FB page on July 10, 2014: "Regarding the Boiler Room tracklist: There isn't actually a proper tracklist. What the set contains is *mostly spare material*/edits of my studio work which I used sometimes in live sets and never released. But as it felt sad to leave this music in the darkness I decided to use the opportunity to play it. Nearly all tracks *will remain unreleased* as I think that this is the only way the set will stand for itself in the future. Thank you for all the nice messages and your great feedback. It's your appreciation that keeps artists alive and what gives us the irreplaceable energy and motivation to carry on. David" This means unless David has a change of heart, this recording is the best we have 🙏
No mate, actually first two songs i heard them long time a go in different sets called “Sound of Monte-Carlo’s Symphony “ , so this songs exists long time ago, before this kiddo even started thinking about mixing.
It takes an hour from home to work. every single morning I left my home with this amazing set and come home same way. This is not just a performence, this is truely pure art!

Honestly, I never post anything anywhere. But this damn set deserves it so much, it accompanied me through so much. Discovered it around 6 years ago right before I started studying. I swear in every study phase I've listened to this every day, many times on repeat, studying some stuff i didn't understand at all haha! David I give you credit for me achieving my degree and hopefully soon my second. Will listen to you till the very last exam is over. Pure genius. Edit: Second degree is done! Thank you David. Now I will have to listen to you in some work sessions :)
I've been doing the exact same thing for three years. In fact, I'm doing it right now as I have to finish a paper that I must submit tomorrow. I keep this set on repeat whenever I need to study and I've had countless epiphanies thanks to David.
I find the same thing. If I need to stop procrastinating and get in the zone, this set just carries me through. There’s something so special about it; it never gets boring
I never went to school, but when I started training as a chef I would listen to this before my 15 hour shifts to get me starting off work on the right foot..
Wow, it's aleady been 10 years. That set represents my initiation to techno music when I was a teen. I'm so grateful for David August, my friend Alexis who converted me to that genre, and thanks to the boiler room youtube channel's team :))
David August also was my initiation to electronic music in general, and now I'm doing Deep-House thanks to him. Thanks to my friend Maxime who abducted me to house music (I really thanks him every time I see him for this)
Can't believe I've been listening to this set for 9 years... Played it while coding, cooking for friends, grieving the loss of a loved one, traveling across the world, etc.
In July 2015 I moved from Strasbourg, France to Sydney, Australia to study for a year. My girlfriend of five years left me after two months of being apart, and I became totally depressed. A month later the Paris attacks took place and made me feel even worse. A good Egyptian friend showed me this live set. The depth and melancholy of David's music helped me deal with my emotions, and I managed to climb out of that depression hole. After that year I lived in Montréal, Glasgow, and I now live in New York, with a girl I met when I was in Sydney. Life's crazy. Vielen dank, David !!
As so many others, I keep returning to this wonderful extraordinary set again and again. It kind of creates a community over time, doesn't it? Some of us have strong memories connected to this set. Some of these memories are memories of the past and some are yet to be made. Although this set is has become like a cosmic constant in our lives, it seems to change over time, but only because we the listeners change over time, also changed by the set itself again and again.

Like so many others wrote here before me, this set is really the soundtrack of my life. In 2015, after obsessively listening to it on repeat, I’ve finally went to see David playing live. I was in such a rough spot, seriously, if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have left my house, nowhere. Couldn’t miss the chance of him visiting my city. Ended up meeting my future husband at that gig. Call it fate or whatever, but good vibes attract good vibes, right? This is this set, this is David August. He literally changed my life. Like some magical, supernatural musical wizard. Forever grateful. Got a forever spot in my heart, just like this set does.
Jorge Icaz today david was in Georgia at "Tbilisi summer set" OMG I'm glad to met him... he's so cool N1 artist for me I can't explain what a feeling was when he's starting... omg man I just can't explain....
This set probably saved my life. Every once In a a while when I'm feeling down or uncomfortable I'm coming back to this and it's takes me back home. There's nothing compare to that.
Probably one of the best Boiler Rooms sets ever (if not the best). It has rhythm, musicality, intensity, narrative, cultural references. .... Just watch the audience super connected
With all the negativity on the internet nowadays, it's pieces of art like this mix and the communities/comment sections that spur from them that really show something beautiful about this era we're living in :)
THAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PIECES OF MUSIC I EVER HEARD..... LIKE MANNNNN WOAHHH!!! literally chills every few minutes... this sound is seriously on a different level... this is where the bar is set from this year and onwards... if i were to hear this live, dancing under an open star lit sky, i just might have to cry at some moments.. it was literally that beautiful, meloncholic, yet funky, soulful, and most certainly original... and i hope the rest of the people who hear this can appreciate it the same way. David august you are a jedi master
Please Boiler room, could you do a part two with this genius!! This is such a perfect set I’m curious to see what he comes up all these years later. Make it happen 🤞🏽 🤞🏽
I think he can't match this performance again. His recent songs are not that great, it looks like changed his style and that style wont make people who love this set happy.
You tube premium for less than a pocket of cigarette fee/month and u have 5 account without ad and show respect for people who work for such amazing product like UA-cam.
No set can sooth you down like this set after a long of tripping. Respect for David for creating this master piece I’ve been listening to this set since 2014
Absolutely legendary! 8 years ago David August gave a true masterpiece to all music fans (not only electronic). A brilliant set to listen to while dancing, relaxing, studying, working, living...
4 years later, this boiler room is still apprehended as a piece of art. Been listening hundred times and still feels it as the first time. Timeless piece of art, infinitely shining human's soul like a precious gem.
I come back to this since i heard this first time, about 20 time i think, and it is still something special about this set. This journey started about 5 years ago. All Gratitude to you!

I must have listened to this over 100 times before but always find myself gravitating back towards it. When I listen to this, I put both headphones in and close my eyes and I it always connects so deep with me on a whole other level like its opening up a new world. I swear there's some kind of subconscious mind stimulation he's trying to create with his music. If you really listen, especially in those endless feeling transitions, there's subtle differences in sounds slightly off from each other alternatively in the right and left headphones that tricks me into visioning the noise. I end up 100% completely lost in sound then come back round and feel like I've just been cleansed. Unbelievable stuff.
David komm zurück !! wo immer du bist...12 Millionen Aufrufe!!! fast 6500 Kommentare die 99,5 % einfach nur überwältigt sind , und immer wieder zurück kommen zu diesem Set. Meisterwerk
It's august/2022 and I still think this is the most brilliant live sets i've ever heard im my life. Thank you David for a such amazing hour of classy and tripping music. Love from Brazil.
Heard this set back in 2014 live on Fusion, it was one of the best moments in my life. Always getting goosebumps and I refeel the Moment. During the set it rained heavily and the sun came out, again and again back and forth. Sun, rain, thunders and random people hugging and laughing to each other enjoying every second. In his set he did not just control the music but also the weather and the whole world around us it was so magical. Thank you so much for this, I never had the chance to tell you directly! From all of us sharing this moment to you!
my wife and i just had a magical experience re-listening to this beautiful experience. lucky to experience it, luckier to be able to come back to it from time to time. thank you D'avid.
Best parts 28:30 to 31:33 and 1:02:38 till end....... beyond what any words in any language other than music can describe and pure, pure p-u-r-e bliss nothing else. Never heard anything more deep, emotional, elegant, exquisite, original and moving. This should remain in history.
It’s been 3 years now since I started listening this set almost everynight before sleep. Best part is that I can listen it when I feel sad, happy, low energy or even during my workouts. Thank you, David for this masterpiece ! 🙏🏼
This is probably my most listened to mix of the last 10 years. Really hits different at 2am in the rooftop sauna after smoking a green one with a group of friends 🔥
I birthed my baby to this set! I wonder if there's something that connects those of us who connect so deeply with this set. A sensitive soul, perhaps. A yearning for greater understanding of the beauty of existence. This is, indeed, a true work of art. If I had a time machine, this is where I would go.
First time listening to this compared to all you veterans, but this is one of the most mesmerizing sets I've ever heard! This man is an absolute magician with sound.
The Essential mix from Jori Hulkkonen deserves to be mentioned here, I'm listening to it since almost 17 years now... :-) soundcloud.com/blanche/jori-hulkkonen-essential-mix-2002-02-03
For sure made my day too! Hope all the best to everyone listening to it! Stay safe stay positive and as a graffiti saw on the walls in London... stay FREEEEEEE
Too bad people don't know the difference between a music producer and a DJ, can't you see the keyboard synthesiszers?? I still agree on this though "creating a perfect symbiosis of rhythm and emotion".
About to enter 2024 and I still cannot get enough of this

hahaha que cerrada de ano le diste
Absolute faultless set
It never gets old
A masterpiece
Just a 23 years old boy leaving a mark in electronic music
I swear this mix is some kind of fine vintage wine; I've been hearing it for years and am enjoying it more than ever. Goose bumps every few minutes.
THE GREATEST OF ALL BOILER ROOMS! OH, WHEN AM I GOING TO BE OVER THIS SET.
never,it's #'the art of august#
in September
When?
Yeah, not in this life.
omg, hilarious. Nice one
It's April 2024 and still playing this in my house parties. This is still a vibe setter!!
This set probably saved my life.
Every once In a a while when I'm feeling down or uncomfortable I'm coming back to this and it's takes me back home. There's nothing compare to that.
Same here. This set has a huge part in saving me from going insane
100%
Me too. I comment almost every year for the past 3 years or more.
♥️♥️♥️
Same here too.. I wonder if David is aware that he’s a one unique gem in this earth 🧿
Probably one of the best Boiler Rooms sets ever (if not the best). It has rhythm, musicality, intensity, narrative, cultural references. .... Just watch the audience super connected
Perfection 😊
best comment ever🐾
Solomun’s set is also pure gold
It took 8 years but I think we finally have an almost even match with Fred Again’s Boilerroom this year.
@@keisnel i agree... and don't forget about HVOB with Vienna
Its time to listen to it now ❤
Please Boiler room, could you do a part two with this genius!!
This is such a perfect set I’m curious to see what he comes up all these years later.
Make it happen 🤞🏽 🤞🏽
I think he can't match this performance again. His recent songs are not that great, it looks like changed his style and that style wont make people who love this set happy.
@@nisaniquett you never know my friend
@@nisaniquett i think he doenst DJ anymore
most of his recent concerts are classical, orchestral but I still think he DJs a bit. Make it happen Boiler Room
Putting ads in something like this is illegal
Get to the end the end if the video then replay it. It'll think you've already watched the ads and now you get an ad free experience
BRUV what are you doing are you new to the internet or what ?? jeez get an adblock!
vilaniol youtube app on phone doesn’t have adblock, chill dude
You tube premium for less than a pocket of cigarette fee/month and u have 5 account without ad and show respect for people who work for such amazing product like UA-cam.
Vanced does, dood!
No set can sooth you down like this set after a long of tripping. Respect for David for creating this master piece I’ve been listening to this set since 2014
This set is timeless. Revisiting it after 7 years - sounds as good as the first time I heard it. Much love David!
Met him once. Gentle, relaxed and focused person. Not the type of usual dj-„guy“ running after fame, money and girls but his creation of music
I love how there are no ads in the middle of the set. Thank you David August, thank you Boiler room for this masterpiece.
Wait?! There is still ads on Internet in 2023?
@@bastiengaudimont5864 In uBlock we trust
Absolutely legendary!
8 years ago David August gave a true masterpiece to all music fans (not only electronic). A brilliant set to listen to while dancing, relaxing, studying, working, living...
As a fellow fan who's currently working I can confirm.
9.5 years!!!
Very very smooth, he treats devices as instruments, no headphones ... a moster

This has to be by far the most orginal, melodic, and artistic set ever produced❤
I agree !! Also HVOB with Vienna @ Boiler Room - with David August they make Galaxy level music !
2022 still favorite set off all times. Transitions and track selection are on another level
Matthew T absolutely spot on!!
God has blessed you if you have watched this set.
Listening to this set for the first time in 2020.. Live in SF and 20 minutes into the video, I bought a ticket to see him on February 13th.. Vamos!!
I really wanna be there. Is it a normal techno party? Rave?
@@asaf6773 not too sure. I'm hoping a normal techno party. The venue is a great atmosphere too.

This never gets old. Reporting back from yr 2323
my wife and i just had a magical experience re-listening to this beautiful experience. lucky to experience it, luckier to be able to come back to it from time to time. thank you D'avid.
this set alone deserves nobel prize of music
Best parts 28:30 to 31:33 and 1:02:38 till end....... beyond what any words in any language other than music can describe and pure, pure p-u-r-e bliss nothing else. Never heard anything more deep, emotional, elegant, exquisite, original and moving. This should remain in history.
La llorona de los angeles...una belleza salida del Club del Silencio /Mulholland Drive de Lynch.
praise be to deep house my friend
I keep coming back to this work of Art. 2024.
It’s been 3 years now since I started listening this set almost everynight before sleep. Best part is that I can listen it when I feel sad, happy, low energy or even during my workouts. Thank you, David for this masterpiece ! 🙏🏼
Same! It fits every mood.
If I could go back to any place at any time in history, I’d go here
I'm craving an intimate show like this.
Can keep listening to this forever... groovy in the daytime, haunting after dark..
Listening for the millionth time and I'm floating in space. Nothing comes close to this set. It's the story of the universe explained through music.
Arguably the best Boiler Room ever.
such an elegant set

I have been coming back to this set for years. It has to be one of the best ever.
If I had a time machine, this is where I would go.
what a beautiful way to introduce a life to the world, I hope your baby loves this set and finds home in it as much as the rest of us 💕❤

First time listening to this compared to all you veterans, but this is one of the most mesmerizing sets I've ever heard! This man is an absolute magician with sound.
Hands down this set will go down in history as one of the most legendary set of Electronic Music ever composed!!!

Genial...
this performance is the best of boiler rooms by far.
Agreed
This is how DJing should be with the people, creating a perfect symbiosis of rhythm and emotion.
Too bad people don't know the difference between a music producer and a DJ, can't you see the keyboard synthesiszers?? I still agree on this though "creating a perfect symbiosis of rhythm and emotion".
Can't stop coming back to this set. At this point, I'm listening to this every single day.
